Das Oaks Cottage befindet sich in der Northern Cameron Parish und ist von wunderschönen „Live Oak Trees“ umgeben. Die Unterkunft ist ein komplett eingerichtetes Cottage mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad, nur wenige Minuten vom berĂŒhmten Großen See entfernt. Schlafmöglichkeiten fĂŒr 4 Personen, hat 1.350 Quadratmeter WohnflĂ€che. Alle BettwĂ€sche und Geschirr zur VerfĂŒgung gestellt. Waschmaschine / Trockner, zentrale Klimaanlage und Heizung, WiFi und Kabel-TV, wo jedes Zimmer einen Fernseher hat. Große ĂŒberdachte Veranda mit Grill und Feuerstelle. Auf dem GrundstĂŒck ist ausreichend Platz zum Abstellen Ihrer Boote (Fishermen Welcomed). Nur 10 Minuten vom Herbert Camp Bootsanleger entfernt. Vogelbeobachter sind herzlich eingeladen, unser Paradies entlang des Creole Nature Trail hinunter nach Cameron La zu genießen, eine 50-minĂŒtige Fahrt. Sie sind 15 Minuten vom Prime Restaurant und der Bodega Wine Bar und 20 Minuten von den Casinos und gehobenen Restaurants entfernt.

Beautiful, quiet location.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The property has beautiful live oaks and plenty of wildlife to watch while sitting on the porch. The house had everything we needed, with a Keurig, washer and dryer being the most important amenities for our family. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on. It is a very easy and rather short drive from Lake Charles. We had never stayed on the eastern side of the lake but we enjoyed exploring the area and finding new places to go crabbing that weren’t crowded. Angela was very quick to respond with any questions. I will definitely keep this cottage on my list of places to stay in the future.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the cozy cottage. It is EXACTLY as pictured and it is indeed cozy yet spacious. Our trip down south was for the purpose of going crabbing in the Gulf of America and our hosts were kind enough to have a propane burner and pots available to us for boiling our catch. We were able to meet the hosts and enjoyed speaking with such good, down to earth people. The cottage was clean and tidy and had all things available that I would have in my own home to enjoy. We wanted for nothing. We are already talking about planning another trip next summer and we will be working it around the availability of this cottage. Definitely worth the rental!

Perfect weekend getaway

Beautiful Cottage

The property with the Live Oak Trees is Beautiful, and the home is perfectly cozy. I love the décor of the home and the bed was very comfortable. Clean and cozy are words that capture this sweet little cottage! The indoor fireplace made for warm snuggles on the couch. The outdoor fireplace was the perfect setting for relaxing and chatting. Fishing trip

Came down for our annual friends fishing trip, using cat 5 charters and the guide launches at Calcasieu point this location was perfect. Spacious, clean, and peaceful. The house was to date the best air bnb i had stayed in, beds, couches was like sleeping on a cloud. Whole house had everything you could ask for. Highly recommended Only thing is there is a curve at where the drive way meets the road that can be pretty dangerous so be careful otherwise perfect.

Quiet getaway

We enjoyed the quiet, calm surroundings of the area and beautiful interior of the home which was tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. Everything we needed was provided and we shopped the local, recommended grocery which was well stocked and staff was friendly. Fired up the grill while there and enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Had a visit from two armadillos one early evening which provided lots of laughs! Far enough out to enjoy the country, but close enough to casinos, restaurants, or other town fun.

Honeymooners were thrilled!

Our honeymooners (my daughter and new son in law) were beyond excited about relaxing here for a short getaway until they can go on an extended honeymoon. We’re from this area and know the difficulties of putting our small towns back together and our community never leaves one another behind. It was definitely proven during this process of booking with these amazing owners who went above and beyond for us. They even left a bottle of champagne and glasses out with a sweet note to the newlyweds. We will forever be grateful to them for giving our kids a piece of normalcy. Even for just a couple of nights.
