Der Name sagt schon alles: "Frieden im Wald"! Diese Hütte liegt abgeschieden am Ende der Red Fox Lane am Rande des Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest.

Diese charmante Hütte ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wird für ihre Schönheit, ihren Komfort und ihre Privatsphäre geschätzt. Vorne und hinten befinden sich große, teilweise überdachte Decks, auf denen Sie die Sonne der Berge in North Georgia genießen oder im kühlen Schatten entspannen können - wenn Sie sich nicht im warmen Wasser des Whirlpools entspannen!

Beide Schlafzimmer befinden sich auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Wohnzimmers und verfügen jeweils über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen Fernseher und ein eigenes Bad. Genießen Sie das gemütliche Wohnzimmer vor dem Kamin aus Holz, während Sie Ihren Lieblingsfilm ansehen. In der voll ausgestatteten Küche fühlen Sie sich bei der Zubereitung von Snacks und Mahlzeiten wie zu Hause. We loved this cabin! The yard was big enough for our dogs. It was very quiet as we were in the last cabin up the driveway. My dad saw a bear about 2:00 in the morning, so beware they are out there. The only thing I can say negative is the road getting to the cabin had a lot of ruts in it, the drive was pretty rough. Other than that, everything was perfect!!!

The split floor plan for the bedrooms was great! The fenced in backyard was perfect for my pup! Needs a backyard motion sensor light. Very dark once the sun goes down for the pup. The outside needs some TLC but overall a great cabin and location. 10 min drive into Helen! Would definitely go back to this cabin!

Wonderful

Everything about this was excellent. The cabin was in a perfect place and there was a fenced yard for our dog. The screened in porch was great for drinking coffee in the mornings. Everything from the check in (which was actually an hour early) to the checkout was perfect. Will definitely be staying there again!!

Cozy, Secluded Cabin Retreat in the Woods

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was close to downtown Helen for easy access, but provided a peaceful getaway in the woods away from the busyness of town. It had all of the necessary amenities and was VERY clean. Kudos to the housekeepers. Our only BIG disappointment was the uncomfortable bed mattress and flat pillows. Next to cleanliness, comfortable sleeping quarters are most important. If one cannot get a good night’s rest, how can a vacation be enjoyable??! The only other feedback we have has to do with lighting. There was a problem with the overhead lighting in the bedrooms; sometimes all three bulbs were lit, and sometimes only one bulb was lit. Also, kitchen lighting could be improved. We think under-cabinet lighting would be a huge improvement. We felt like we were preparing food in a dungeon.

Beautiful cabin stay!

This cabin was peaceful and quiet. It was well stocked and very clean. Good communication with property managers. (Especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Do NOT do that. lol) My only complaint is I didn’t get to meet any bears. Everything else was great!

Peace in the Woods is in a great location very near to Helen & Unicoi Stae Park. The cabin was very comfortable and provided everything one might want or need.

This was by far one of the cleanest and comfortable cabins we have stayed in. If you are viewing this property look no more go ahead and book! It was easy to get to all the restaurants, hikes, and wineries also!!!!!
