We want to come back again and stay! I even hate to put this I hear but the only critique (which shouldn’t sway anyone from booking this lovely cabin) is the cabin lacked enough pillows. The pillows were pretty flat. This is a personal preference but we do wish we had more pillows than what was provided.

Absolutely Perfect

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My girlfriend and I just spent a week in the Blackberry Springs cabin. We absolutely loved the cabin and hated to leave. The cabin was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. The king bed was comfortable and the master bath was excellent. This cabin actually has a 1/2 bath in the pool room, which was a huge plus for us. The pool itself was a little on the cold side, but it was only 30°F outside during our stay. There is a mini split in the pool room that keeps the air temperature around 75°F-80°F. We used the hot tub more , but hope to return during the warmer months so we can get more use out of the pool.We had a surprise on our last night when loading up the car. A bear came passed by our cabin.

The proximity to the amazing arts & crafts community gives you something to do (should you be able to pull yourself away from the cabin) without the hustle & bustle of traffic. There are several very interesting shops & artisans that you would be remiss to pass up seeing. The only thing about the cabin we wished was different is that you couldn't adjust the heat in the pool room. I understand that it helps keep the pool warm but it can be a little stifling in there. Let’s start with the ripped upCouches that had leather material falling off everywhere. Beds were very uncomfortable as well as the pillows. This cabin could be nice if they didn’t skip out on stuff in there. The highlight of this cabin was the pool. The sad part is that I mentioned to “elk springs” about the couches and didn’t really get any reply besides we will replace. Sorry I will not stay there again.

We had lots of space and we were very comfortable. Our cabin came with an indoor pool and an outdoor jacuzzi. We definitely got lots of use out of both. We Absolutely had the best time and cant wait to go back soon. Also, I had to call because we had trouble with our code upon arrival. The lady I spoke to was super helpful and pleasant . She got us right in and we didn't have any further issue.

Not so great after all

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A day ahead they ask for your arrive time. I said 3pm as we had reservations for that night at 730pm in pigeon forge. I received a text the day of our arrival at 12:54 that check in would be delayed to 5:30. At 2:30 I received another text delaying it again until 6:15. I finally received a text at 6:03 with the code to get in. So, we had no time to get ready and beat traffic. We looked over the cabin and everything looked fine until we went downstairs to the pool. Heat was blowing at 83 degrees. I called Elk Springs the lady on the phone said she would call back with instructions of have maintenance out. I never got a call back or maintenance out to adjust. The next morning, I called and called with no answer. I sent an email and finally got a response call. The lady on the phone said she would send maintenance out. Shortly after I received text saying they would be there by 2:18. While we were out, I received another text with a delay to 4:47. When we returned, they had been there but only turned the heat down to 80 degrees. Still felt like setting in a sauna. I tried to call the office, but no one answered. I sent a text and got a response that the pool room temperature has to stay at 80 degrees for condensation. And that they would have management look into the delays getting into the cabin. That was the last I heard from Elk Spring about the delays or the pool issue. I've stayed at other cabins in the area with indoor pools and never had this problem. It was so hot in that room we couldn't use the pool or the theater. So, half the house was unusable unless you want a sauna to watch a movie or swimming 80 degrees water. With the pool that hot you don't need the hot tub.
