I am a licensed realtor in my "off" hours and had a client who was interested in flipping houses in the Tarpon Springs area because he knew the history and value of this remarkable area and would make any property a solid investment. I took my buyer to the house and he said " Wow, this is a really cool house, but there is just too much work to do here and it will take too long and cost a fortune to bring it back to life. " While he was saying that, I was falling in love with the house and wanted John to look at it. We instantly shared a vision. So we bought it and started the monumental task that became our dream and passion. 10 years later, we look back and know that we might've changed our minds many times and had many arguments between us that tested our love, but in the end, we both know the vision we had so many years ago has been greatly exceeded by the finished project. We both love smelling the nearby bakeries, walking through an art fair, doing a "wine walk", or taking our boat out into the Gulf. Someday, we will retire and call this our home base, but until then, we want to share it with people who will also fall in love with what we saw in the house, the neighborhood and the city. Enjoy!
