Good value for money and a perfect location

This small basement apartment is great for a single person or a couple and it’s located just steps to beautiful views of Vancouver. Our hosts Anna and Dean were delightful and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was very clean and we could tell that they put a lot effort into it.

Felt like home

Very lovely neighbourhood on Capitol Hill. Went for a few walks and experienced incredible city and harbour views within a couple of blocks of property. Lovely, caring hosts who were always very accommodating!

Capitol Hill Beauty!

I loved my stay at Anna and Deans! Great space, exactly as pictured. Everything you need and more is offered. Anna and family made me feel welcome and like the place was mine. I am an avid VRBO/AirB&B/Homestay traveller. This was a top notch experience. AND I loved the walk up the Hill, it was beautiful, invigorating and made me feel alive! My ONLY regret is sharing how great it was because it may not be available when I'm ready to rent from Anna again :).

Saubere, gemütliche Wohnung mit exzellentem Blick auf Vancouver gleich um die Ecke

Sehr saubere, etwas hellhöhrige Wohnung, in der man sich sehr wohlfühlen kann. Buslinie gleich um die Ecke (fährt Stundenweise). Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gleich um die Ecke hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf Vancouvers Downtown und die Bay zwischen Vancouver und Nord/West Vancouver und die Lions Gate Bridge. Vielen Dank Anna and Dean

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you found everything else about your stay to be perfect. For future guests, we would like to clarify that we are a family of four living upstairs and, because this is an older structure, some sounds can periodically travel through the floor and walls during the day. This is clearly disclosed in our listing before booking so guests can decide whether the property is the right fit for their preferences. For guests who require a highly soundproof environment, a newer purpose-built property may be a better fit. Our listing also specifically invites guests to let us know during their stay if occasional muffled voices or other household sounds are bothersome. We are always happy to address concerns when we are made aware of them. Raising a concern during the stay gives us the opportunity to address it; raising it only after checkout does not. We are mindful of our guests and make every effort to keep noise to a minimum, particularly during our quiet hours of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. We appreciate your feedback and hope this clarification is helpful to future guests.

Home on the Hill

After I mentioned in my booking that it was our anniversary, they gifted us with a card, cheesecake, and a bottle of sparkling wine. It was very sweet and much appreciated. It was a nice location (terrific views from the top of the hill), but was a little difficult as we were relying on public transit. There was a bus stop close, but that line had more limited service comparatively. If you are a light sleeper, be aware that the owners live upstairs, and the floor isn't quiet. Overall, a great experience.
