Loved the space March, 2025

We enjoyed the house very much. Neighborhood was friendly and an easy walk. The star of this property is the outdoor space. We had our dog with us and she loved it. There was a great dog park close by. The extra room with the ping pong table was great. Pool was very clean ans was the home. And host was very attentive. Thanks Michelle for a great week.

3 days near the beaches (and a pool on the property)

Needed a place to stay in Tampa area between 2 medical appointments Friday and Monday. So decided to try to have a short vacation in between. Wanted something fairly near a beach, and with a pool on the property. Filled that want nicely. Short drive to beaches. Older property but well maintained. Owners very in touch and accessible. Running and walking trails within walking distance was good for me, a runner. Only surprise was that the second bathroom was outside the house technically, off the garage but accessible to pool. It worked out but the listing does not tell you that. But a 5 for our purposes.

Spring Training Getaway

We chose this place for the backyard and it did not disappoint! We loved the whimsy and ecclectic outdoor decor. Host was super responsive. Bed was comfy too! We loved this retreat from winter and wld definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

The house is very well kept, clean and has all the essentials you need for the stay. Neighborhood is quiet and we stayed Memorial weekend expecting some noise due to BBQs, but super quiet and nice neighborhood. The pool and patio are wonderful. Very comfortable seating and pool! The only thing I was disappointed a tiny bit was the backyard grass was lacking. Mostly sand compared to the pictures, and I had brought my small dog. He loved the artificial grass patch and the shade, so it was no biggie for us. Keep in mind, it's Florida summer and 90 degree plus weather. The flip side is that there is very little mosquitos because of it and I prefer that over thick lush grass. I can't speak of the guess bedroom bed as we did not use the room, but the master bedroom bed is very, very comfortable! It's really a great area full of restaurants, stores and such and close to beach without the trouble of being on the beach. I will definitely recommend and would stay here again!!! Michelle the hostess is very nice, communicates quickly and thoroughly, and just plain nice! :)

The house is perfect we also brought our little 4 lbs Chihuahua.. it was perfect for her the fenced in yard. We enjoyed ourselves at the pool. It’s a mile from the beach. We will definitely be running this place again.

Close to Indian Rocks Beach

Michelle and her husband were very responsive in communications both before arrival and during the stay (they live in the same neighborhood). The description and pictures of the place are accurate. The location was ideal for our needs. We spend 2 weeks in their home and it was great for us.

Wonderful

Wonderful stay. This home has everything you need to stay home and swim in the private pool or sitting at the pool side bar to have a drink. If you rather go out it’s minutes from the beach and restaurants. The house is very clean and organized. We loved the ping pong table and the bed was super comfy. Plenty of towels and linens and the kitchen has everything to cook meals. Michelle was wonderful to work. Definitely rate this a 10.

Nice cozy and relaxing

Great communication with owner. Home is nicely decorated and provides a nice cozy feel. Has all you need for a relaxing vacation. Owner supplies beach towels, toys and pool toys. Pool area has an abundance of seating for relaxation as well. Kitchen is well supplied for anything you want to prepare. Within walking distance to nice restaurants and stores. Nice friendly neighborhood too. Highly recommended, would stay again.

Excelente Stay!!

Checking in was super easy. The house was clean, had all the supplies, amenities and accommodations for a family stay. Property owner was easy to communicate with. Very friendly and helpful. Our trip was a last minute one and staying here was worth the long drive to Florida from Maryland. The location is perfect. Surrounded with so many stores, restaurants, the beach and actives to do. Unfortunately due to the weather we could not enjoy the pool but the pool area was beautiful and fun. Definitely made our stay so pleasant. The neighborhood was quite and family-friendly.

We live in the neighborhood so we are here to help with anything that may arise while you are here on your stay. We have been here 24 years and raised 3 children in our home. Love this area and you will too. Very convenient to so many wonderful things. I am in Real estate and my husband is a carpenter/handyman. We love that we can come home from working all day and take a 5 min. drive or a 15 min. walk down to the beach and enjoy the sunset to unwind from the busy day. I enjoy having Publix grocery so close if you need something it is literally a 2 min. drive or a 10 min. walk. Moved down to this area in the 80's from Wisconsin and have loved this area. My husband from West Virginia. We met down here 28years ago down here at Crabby Bills!

We purchased this property December 2018. Updated and accented the retro character of the home. We have always hoped one day we could purchase this home. When we bought it all of our friends that came over said you have to do vacation rentals with this home it is perfect so after much thought about what to do with the home, that is what we ended up deciding to do. Everyone that has come loves the layout and the openness of the home and the character that it offers. We hope you will come to enjoy and love this home as much as we do.

Our newest addition to the property is the tiki hut that gives you more shade to hang out and enjoy the yard area! I love the natural light that shines in this home and the open spaciousness of the home. The game room has been a big hit with my son and his friends while we were fixing up the home. Ping pong tournaments were a frequent thing. We love the large kitchen and just the sense of mixing the modern and retro together. It is a very quiet neighborhood with many things in walking distance. The pool has been a great way to unwind after a long day of shopping or beaching it along with the Tiki hut has been a HUGE hit with all our visitors!
