Das Gästehaus ist ein 1100 Quadratmeter großes zweistöckiges Haus mit einem angrenzenden Deck im zweiten Stock, das zusätzliche 400 Quadratmeter hat. Die erste Etage besteht aus einem Wohnbereich, einer Küche, einem Hauptschlafzimmer mit angeschlossenem Bad und Kleiderschrank. Die zweite Etage ist ein Loft und kann entweder über eine kleine, schmale SPIRAL-TREPPE oder über die größere Treppe von der Seite des Decks aus erreicht werden. Das Loft wurde mit zwei Einzelbetten und einem angrenzenden Badezimmer mit römischer Badewanne umgebaut. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über eine tempurpedisch einstellbare Memory-Matratze mit Massagefunktion.

Great place to reconnect!

My friend and I have maintained our long distance friendship for over twenty years and always look forward to the rare opportunities we have to exist in the same place. This was such an ideal location, surrounded by nature and removed from the bustle of the city and our busy lives without feeling remote. The house is such a charming blend of modern amenities and more old fashioned designs that felt very comforting and welcome. We very much intend to stay here again someday in the future and to bring our families separately! Attached are some pictures of the host’s very lovely dogs, who kept me company when I was hanging out on the deck.

Christmas with family

We stayed here for the week of Christmas and it was very clean, quiet, and comfortable! We had everything we wanted, comfortable beds, TV with Netflix and surround sound, washer and dryer and kitchen. The hosts were nice and responsive to my requests.

Couldn't ask for a better situation

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The property is at the end of a quiet and secluded hilltop, but also very close to all the amenities of San Antonio and the hill country.Our host was fantastic - friendly, attentive and rightfully proud of his property. It was well appointed and comfortable and we didn’t lack for anything. We are very conservative in our reviews but will unreservedly give this 5 stars in every category. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Quaint and perfect location to Rose Palace

Truly a Home Away From Home

The home is cozy, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The number of deer is amazing and the hosts’ dogs brought a touch of home we would have missed. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Great finishings

As we entered the beautiful neighborhood we were greeted by many deer. The trees and the hills were very beautiful. The house had everything we needed plus some. It was clean and very nicely furnished. All the beds were very comfortable. The host was also very friendly. What a great place to stay. I highly recommend it.

Quiet and Secluded

Place was very clean. Owners provided everything needed for our short stay to go to a family wedding. The guest house is in a quiet secluded area with lots of deer. We were greeted every day by two friendly dogs. Loved that the place had a full kitchen and 2 baths. We will stay again in future trips to the San Antonio area.

Nice place

Nice location. Large deck. Nice neighborhood, and felt secluded. Comfy beds. It is small and the spiral staircase is very narrow, but it fit our needs perfectly. Owners are friendly as are their dogs. Definitely recommend it to others.

Highly recommend

Comfortable home with all the amenities needed for a long term stay. Great location for visiting the sights around San Antonio including the beautiful hill country and the many deer that wander through the area. Adams and Liz are friendly and great hosts who are close by and desire your utmost satisfaction. Quiet suburban setting with plenty of restaurants, quaint small towns, shopping, grocery stores, and laundromats close by.

Wonderful hosts! House was exactly as described. Very clean. Away from city, (saw deer everyday roaming the neighborhood) but close enough to enjoy the downtown attractions. Extra bonus - coming from dog lovers - Heidi & Hugo are adorable!

The cutest house with so many amenities! The location was perfect and so close to where we would be at an event for the weekend. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was more than accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure the home was up to our standards. Everything in the house is lovely and my favorite was the tempurpedic bed and the temperature controlled toilet. When we asked if another night could be added to our stay they had no problem extending the stay for us. Thank you again. We will be telling our friends and family about the property. We plan on staying here in the future when we attend our team roping competitions at the San Antonio Rose Palace. Thank you again for being such an amazing host.

Home away from home!

Such a comfortable stay! The privacy and excellent Wi-Fi allowed working from home while the views and walks through the hills on the outskirts of San Antonio encouraged our health and meditation. We enjoyed walking to La Hacienda for delicious Mexican food when we didn’t want to cook, but the kitchen has everything we needed when we did. The upstairs patio was a real treat! The Host family is gracious and very accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here - close enough to enjoy the city but far enough away to enjoy the gifts of Nature.

Great place

Awesome little house! Very clean and well furnished. Was in a beautiful neighborhood. Nature is all around with deer running around. The property managers were awesome to deal with. They were very friendly and have great advice for places to visit. One of the best things for us was their lovely dogs. Heidi and Hugo are very sweet and will be your best friend if you give them a good scratch! Was a great vacation! Definitely recommend this home !
