In diesem Sommer verwandelt sich das Äußere mit vielen Deckebenen, Sitzbereichen, abgeschirmten Decks, Feuerstelle, Außenküche ... usw. Die Innenrenovierung beginnt im Oktober und November dieses Jahres.

Unser New Cottage Home ist zentral gelegen, um die Insel bequem zu erkunden. Wir befinden uns am Wasser mit einem wunderschönen roten Sandstrand, der die Bucht von Bayside in Richmond County umgibt. Nur 15 Minuten von Summerside entfernt. Hier finden Sie alles, was Sie brauchen, um sich auf dem Weg nach draußen einzudecken.

Ein Mietwagen ist ein Muss, denn wir sind eine Stunde vom Flughafen entfernt mitten im Landhaus. Der Flughafen befindet sich in Charlottetown, oder Sie fliegen nach Moncton N. B. und überqueren auf Ihrem Weg zur Insel die 13-Meilen-Brücke.

Die Fahrt ist spektakulär mit vielen sanften Hügeln, schönen alten Jahrhunderthäusern, Dörfern und Kirchen. PEI hat so viel Geschichte und hat die spektakuläre Eruption der Ostküste. Natürlich vom Ozean umgeben, ist es… ein wunderschöner Anblick, um zu sehen und zu erleben!

Für die Golfer ist es ein Traum. Wenn Sie Tiefseefisch wollen, ist dies der richtige Ort.

Bleib zu Hause und lebe das Cottage-Leben, genieße ... lach ... hmm ... große Feuerstelle mit viel gestapeltem Holz, einer Hängematte und einer Schaukel auf der Veranda.

Unser Haus verfügt über drei Etagen, untere Etage mit 2 großen Schlafzimmern. Das erste Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queen-Size-Himmelbett mit Kissen sowie zwei Beistelltische, eine Kommode und einen Fernseher.

Das andere Schlafzimmer ist recht groß und bietet bequem Platz für ein Queen-Size-Bett aus Eisen mit Pillow-Top, Nachttischen, einer Vintage-Kommode, einem Set aus zwei Platform-Betten mit Topper, vielen Schubladen, einem Schrank und einem Fernseher.

Diese Etage hat auch ein 4-teiliges Badezimmer mit Badewanne, Dusche, Doppelwaschbecken, Sauna und Waschmaschine / Trockner. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Aufenthaltsbereich mit Tischfußball.

Der Master im Hauptgeschoss hat ein Lattenbett im Mission-Stil mit einem passenden Tempurpedic-Beistelltisch, eine hohe Kommode für Jungen mit Sitzgelegenheiten und einen großen Schrank.

Direkt über einer dreiteiligen Badewanne, einem 72-Zoll-Doppelwaschtisch, einer großen ebenerdigen Dusche, einer eingebauten Bank und Regenköpfen.

Der Wohnbereich erstreckt sich über die Vorderseite des Hauses mit vielen Fenstern, um die Aussicht zu genießen! Das offene Konzept verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, eine Speisekammer, eine Bar und einen Insel- / Essbereich, einen Essbereich sowie einen Wohnbereich mit Kamin und Kaminsesseln.

Genießen Sie auf der begehbaren Terrasse einen Grill- und Sitzbereich mit einer schönen Aussicht!

Das offene Konzept "Loft" mit Blick auf das Wasser verfügt über einen großen Balkon, eine eingebaute Bar, einen Bistrotisch mit Platz zum Entspannen, zum Spielen von Karten, Brettspielen und einen 55-Zoll-Smart-TV mit großem Schnitt und Sitzgelegenheiten, auf dem sich jeder versammeln und zuschauen kann ein Film mit Popcorn.

Versteckt mit Privatsphäre ist ein Queen-Loft-Bett, ein Beistelltisch mit Schrank und maßgefertigten Kommoden. Das Dachgeschoss verfügt über ein 3-teiliges Badezimmer mit Dusche und Doppelwaschtisch.

Im Außenbereich finden Sie eine große Feuerstelle mit einem Eisenkessel, um frische Meeresfrüchte zuzubereiten. Es gibt viele Adirondack-Stühle, um am Feuer zu sitzen oder am Strand ein Feuer zu machen und die Sterne zu genießen.

Wir haben Hufeisen-Boxen, ein Volleyballnetz mit Ball, Schläger mit Birdies, Gartenspiele und Strandspielzeug und Fahrräder.

Auf dem Hauptdeck befindet sich ein neuer Grill mit Zubehör und Spieß zum Braten. Der Loungebereich führt hinunter zu einem großen Deckbereich mit Holzsteg, um die Feuerstelle zu genießen, und nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt.

Geliefert werden alle Bettwäsche, Kissen, Handtuch-Sets, Papierwaren und eine gefüllte Pantry! Geben Sie das Vorratsgefäß ab. Dadurch bleibt die Vorratskammer voll für andere.
Strandtücher sind nicht im Preis enthalten.

This property was well-maintained, is attractively designed, and offers many entertaining amenities. It was stocked with more everyday life items than any property we’ve rented previously, which made for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is good-sized, with a very large island for prep work and additional easy seating. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfortable. The view of the river is delightful. The hot tub provides a relaxing way to end each day. All of us quite enjoyed our stay in this home.

Absolutely loved this home ! My whole family (5 adults and 4 children) loved this home. It was very, very clean and organized. The attention to detail that Sandy and Gord apply to their home is excellent. I have reserved numerous homes and this home was the best out of all of them. The price reflects the quality of the home, and the quality of the customer service. Would definitely recommend this home and would definitely rent this home again. Thank you Sandy and Gord for your home as it made this family vacation very special and memorable.

This home on the bay was perfect for our big family trip to PEI. The house was immaculate. The hosts really thought of every little detail to be sure our needs were met. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. The outdoor space was quite accommodating for a variety of ages from our young grandchildren, parents to grandparents. Loved the hot tub after a busy day. Hosts communicated well but still gave us a relaxed enjoy your vacation feel. Highly recommend and will do so for anyone looking for a vacation home in PEI.

What a fantastic place! We were a family of 10, ranging from young to old, and there was the perfect amount of space for everyone. The home had everything we needed, and the hosts were wonderful and communicated clearly throughout our stay. The hot tub was VERY clean and wonderful to use. The mosquitoes could be quite bad in the evenings, but the hosts sprayed the property the day after we arrived, which really helped keep them at bay. There’s also a great screened-in porch where we could enjoy being outside without being bothered by them.The location is closer to the west side of the island. We made the 2.5-hour drive to Basin Head one day to visit the stunning beach, and it was absolutely worth it! We broke up the drive with a stop in Charlottetown for breakfast.There are also some great spots nearby—Moth Brewing was a cute place to stop, and we had some of the best burgers at Backwoods Burger - Craft Beer Cookhouse. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!

The perfect family gathering spot!

This home is the perfect place to gather with a large family, or multiple families! There were so many amenities associated with the house that it felt like having our own little resort all week. The attention to detail and care at this property really shows!

Our two families had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. The location is very quiet with easy access to the ocean. We enjoyed every moment and appreciated all the extras that were available for use in the pantry.

Great for family gatherings!

We stayed here with our family and extended family. There was lots of room to enjoy each other’s company. Sandy and Gord were easily accessible when we had questions and it is clear they care about their home and about ensuring their guests enjoy their stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This is a beautiful cottage with all of the amenities! The cottage was very clean and so spacious. The hot tub and steam room were great for relaxing after a hard day of vacationing. We really took a liking to the hanging chairs outside and are now going to get some of our own! Thank you for opening up your beautiful cottage so we can all enjoy it!

Vacation stay in PEI

The house was exactly as the pictures - very clean and nicely appointed with comfortable beds and luxurious bath towels. The house worked well for our group. The beach area is very close and we enjoyed walking along when the tide was out. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck too! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful property

The property had almost everything we needed. The house was clean, and our party of 8 (two families, each with two kids) had space to spread out. We did need to buy soap/shampoo for bathing, and coffee grinds, or maybe we couldn't find those that were provided, but overall a great stay.

As a full Cottage Home vacation rental, we do not supply bodywash & shampoo, however when we transform our Cottage Home into a B&B for the Island Walkers we do offer those conveniences. We do however offer laundry pods & dryer sheets for your convenience during our complete season. We are also very proud of our pantry and appreciate when guests tip the pantry for others. HI Trish Thank you so much for your feedback on our property. In the basement we have two new 1200 unit heat pumps/splits in each bedroom that are to be set on dry at all times, it states in our house rules. However, we understand for the comfort of guests they will adjust them to air conditioning. What I think we will do is include a large stand alone humidifier to the open space to help with humidity and leave the baseboard heating on low to offset the air-conditioning. The best rental I have ever stayed at!

These hosts have thought about everything! The house has all you could ever need to make your vacation enjoyable. The kitchen is fully stocked; just bring your food. The view is incredible, especially from the second floor deck! There are plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep all your guests busy. The hot tub and fire pit are located perfectly to allow the space to spread out and provide water views. The house seems to be bigger than it really is because the spaces have been so well thought out and laid out. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Very good intro to PEI

My family and I stayed here for a full week. The cottage was very clean upon our arrival. The view at night was stunning. It was very hot in PEI during our stay so the A/C on all floors was a big plus. We used the pizza oven for a fun night. The kids loved the beach and the big open space provided plenty of room to run. Overall we had an amazing stay. Thank you

Beautiful cottage in quiet location

My family and I had a fabulous stay at this cottage. It exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated with all the necessities. The beds were all super comfortable and the rooms were all very generous in size. The patio and deck area were our favorite places to hang out. Loved the 2 hanging chairs!!!! Big house, lots of amenities

The cottage was the perfect size for our group and was exactly as listed. Everyone had a comfortable bed and bathroom. Sandy was easy to contact and helpful with any problems. The location is close to conveniences like Walmart/Grocery/etc. The screened in porch is a lovely reprieve from nighttime bugs. We were able to rent kayaks and the waterfront was perfect for that, very calm. Thanks for a great vacation!

Hello To All!
Gord and I met about seven years ago and have not wasted any time living life. Gord is originally from Cape Breton and is retired from the RCMP. When Gord was young, his family spent many summers camping in PEI. He has always wanted to live and retire in Prince Edward Island. So, here we are!

I was born in Montreal but have spent most of my life growing up at the southern tip of Ontario. I had a vacation guest house in Wine Country along Lake Erie. I'm retired and looking forward to having fun with my guy and this beautiful cottage home.

Our home is located in Bayside with views that surround the Bay. You will cross the Grand River to get to our Cottage Home. Great fishing at the Grand and in the Bay. Our setting feels like the early years of cottaging. The beach is shallow, perfect for little ones to make sandcastles. Just a short 5-minute walk out to the point, a beautiful horseshoe beach awaits. Additionally, when the tide is out, a large sand bar appears at the tip.

There are a couple of small villages close by. Tyne Valley is only 8 minutes by car with a great pub-style restaurant, oyster bar, and variety store that makes awesome deep-fried chicken and pizza.

Moth Brewery is a local brewery, and it's a must-visit.
There's a Dairy Bar that serves breakfast & lunch within 5 minutes and a Corner Store/Gas Station.

There is a Honey Farm, an Alpacas Farm, Golf, and Fishing. Summerside is located just 20 minutes away with coffee shops, boutiques, waterfront theater, kayaking and so much more.
PEI runs on its own time, so take time to live the life in Prince Edward Island.

We are close enough to all amenities and far enough away for those quiet moments of cottage life.
