Tolles Dock & Lage

Tolle Hütte direkt am Tims Ford Lake. Die Kabine wurde aktualisiert und verfügt über eine schöne, gut ausgestattete Küche sowie eine Terrasse (mit Grill). Genießen Sie unser Dock - fischen Sie, schwimmen Sie und benutzen Sie unsere zwei Kajaks, das Paddle Board und ein Kanu. Viel Platz, um Ihr Boot in einer größtenteils privaten Bucht an unser Dock zu binden. Bitte lesen Sie den Abschnitt zum Zugang für Gäste, um weitere Informationen zum Zugang zum See zu erhalten.

Kabine ist zwei Geschichten. Ein Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und ein weiteres Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit zwei Einzelbetten und einem Doppelzimmer. Küche, Bad, schöne Höhle (mit Schlafsofa) und Essbereich und eine schöne Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen und einem Gasgrill. Stapel Waschmaschine und Trockner zu Hause. Die Küche hat nebeneinander Kühlschrank mit Eis und Wasser, Geschirrspüler und Herd. Bitte beachten Sie - Der Kamin ist elektrisch.

Tims Ford ist bekannt für sein kleines Bassbarschfischen. Gutes Angeln auch von unserem Dock aus (bringen Sie Ihre eigenen Stöcke und Ausrüstung mit).

Sie haben Dock-Zugang, um unser Dock zu nutzen. Unser Boot wird (vom 1. April bis 31. Oktober) im überdachten Slip mit dem Lift fahren, aber es gibt genügend Platz, um Ihr Boot zu binden (unbedeckt, außer im Winter können Sie abgedeckt werden). Tolles Schwimmen vom Dock. Von der Hütte aus ist der Blick auf den See im Sommer von Bäumen blockiert, im Winter jedoch ziemlich offen. Unser Dock befindet sich auf einem relativ steilen Hügel mit einem asphaltierten Pfad (ca. 100 m) und Stufen (ca. 50 m). Sie können gerne unsere zwei Kajaks, das Kanu und das Paddelbrett benutzen (Paddel werden mitgeliefert, aber bitte bringen Sie Ihre eigenen Schwimmwesten mit). In unserer Nachbarschaft gibt es eine Bootsrampe, die Sie nutzen können. Es gibt auch Zeiten, in denen wir das Dock möglicherweise gleichzeitig benutzen, aber wir würden Sie im Voraus darüber informieren, ob wir dort sein werden.

Winchester ist ca. 10 Minuten entfernt. Walmart, Kroger und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Restaurants. Jack Daniels Distillery ca. 20-25 min.

Wir haben WIFI und Direct Now TV. Es gibt einen 32-Zoll-Fernseher und einen DVD-Player, an den Sie Filme anschließen können. Wir haben einige Spiele.

AWESOME! This was one of my best stays at VRBO location. Everything you need for a great stay. Check in was easy, plenty of information provided on the property, and such a beautiful location. If you looking for secluded piece of paradise look no further.

Thanks for the great review! Just an FYI, I was puzzled by great comments the guest left with a 1-star. I contacted the guest to see if this was correct and if so what needed to be addressed. His response was "Yes that was a mistake, I'll fix it.. should have been 5". Once a review is submitted it cannot be changed.

On the Lake

We enjoyed our stay. Place was comfortable and had everything we needed- though we spent very little time in the house, because…The dock was fantastic- swimming and boating all day from a private dock that is just a short walk from the house! We loved being able to maximize our family fun time on the water!

Woodsy cabin and beautiful getaway

We had an amazing stay, and would recommend this to anyone looking for a little getaway. We fished from the dock, grilled dinner on the back deck while the some rain storms rolled through. If you have a boat with you, the dock is clean and well kept.

Check in was super easy, the property was clean and the owner was awesome! My son even left a stuffed animal and they shipped it back! The location is amazing and the hike down to the dock was steep like mentioned but for me and my sons, it wasn’t too bad like some made it out to be. The cove was amazing and I really liked how everything had a place. We will definitely recommend coming here and will stay again in the future!

Not bad place to stay

Was off the beaten path. Nice but the neighbors was walking all over the property. Didn’t like that aspect.

Beautiful cozy cabin. Everything there you need. Has kayak and canoe on the dock to use. (kayaks were a bit dirty from the standing water) Had a nice relaxing weekend.

Everything was as described. House was perfect for a weekend get-a-way. The only negative thing I can say is if you have any mobility issues the walk up and down to the boat dock is EXTREMLY steep. I am still recovering from both knee and hip replacements so it was difficult to do several times a day. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and we were very pleased with everything. The owner was quick to answer all questions and very easy to communicate with!

Relaxing and entertaining.

It was too chilly for us to fish. It would be a great summertime getaway. Lots of games and internet if you are stranded inside. We had a very relaxing weekend. The cabin was very well laid out with a cute kids loft.

This property is exactly as shown. The house is older but everything you want in a lake house. Super clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved being able to kayak every day and use the boat dock when we rented a boat. Owner was great to work with

Great place to stay

The house was just the right size for our family. We have 3 young kids ages 7,7,9. They loved being able to have their own space upstairs. We took our dog with us & it was the perfect place for him to be able to have some freedom to explore. The dock was private with great swimming. It also had a nice spot for catching bluegill. It had the feel of being remote but close enough to town for a Walmart run or a DoorDash dinner delivery. We really enjoyed our vacation here.

Peaceful getaway!

Had a wonderful stay at this property! The cabin is simple but clean and has the things needed to make the stay as enjoyable as possible! It's a steep walk to the dock, but once there, there are toys (paddle board, canoe, 2 kayaks) and a nice covered slip for a boat. The dock is wide enough to fish, swim or tie up another boat if desired. The cove is quiet and clean with only a few other docks inside. Lots of birds to watch and other wildlife to see. Absolutely loved everything about this property!

pleasant stay

I was a nice cozy cabin with everything we needed. The water access was much steeper than I expected. It was nice that it was partly paved and then mulched the rest of the way, but the climb back up the drive was rough. More pictures of this would be helpful to others (the reason for my 4 stars). Instead of the dock area, I enjoyed the back porch and the view while my guys were out for the day. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, the path to the dock can be more of a challenge to some more than others. We try and be very specific in our description regarding the path to the dock as it's really hard to capture in pictures. It's also a very individual interpretation as most of our guests have not had concerns or issues regarding the hill. We do allow golf carts or UTV as well.

Quite getaway

Very quite and cozy. Equipped with every thing u need. Steep walk to the dock but we did get our exercise in lol. A slight musty smell when we first walked in. Was expecting a little more view of the lake.

Hi Sharon. Thanks for staying and your comments! We always appreciate feedback to help us improve our guests experience. As noted in our listing, the winter view of the lake is much more open but leaves block most of the view in the summer. We are currently building another rental home next door that will be right on the water. It's a much larger property (4 bedroom). Keep us in mind for either (or both) on your next lake trip!
