Diese charmante Ein-Schlafzimmer-Suite, die als Schlafhütte am Nebenstraßenhof bekannt ist, wurde 1949 erbaut. Das Schlafhaus ist 592 ft.² groß und besteht aus einem Schlafzimmer mit gewölbter Decke und einem Queensize-Bett aus Hartholzboden und einem begehbaren Kleiderschrank. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine intelligente TV-Couch, einen Tisch und Stühle sowie eine Küchenzeile mit einer Mini-Kühlschrank / Gefrierfach-Mikrowelle und einer Keurig-Kaffeemaschine. Das Badezimmer verfügt über eine umgestaltete Duschkabine, ein Waschbecken mit großem Tresenbereich und eine Toilette. Das Anwesen befindet sich auf einem über 3 Hektar großen Grundstück, das einst eine alte Pferderanch war. Heute ist es die Heimat der Side Road Farm. Wir sind ein Bauernhof, der sich auf Obst und Gemüse sowie eine kleine Herde Enten und Hühner spezialisiert hat. Wir sind zu Fuß zu 3 Weingütern. Ihre Gastgeber wohnen mit Ihrem Hund auf dem Grundstück. Wir stehen Ihnen bei Bedarf zur Verfügung, um Ihnen bei Ihrem Aufenthalt behilflich zu sein.

Beautiful cottage exactly as described. Less than 10 minutes from downtown Healdsburg, but on a two-lane road in the countryside that feels 100 miles from the nearest city. It's also a one-hour drive to the coast past several boutique wineries. Very attentive host.

Perfect Getaway

Easy to get to. Close to town but far enough away to feel secluded. Easy to get around and Sue and Edward were great hosts. I even got to throw the ball with Suzy for a little bit.

Nice spot in Sonoma wine country

This property was perfect for my wife and me to use as a hub for winery visits in Sonoma. The cottage was clean, quiet and safe, attractively appointed, accessible, and conveniently located. The property is an easy 4-minute drive to downtown Healdsburg restaurants and shopping, 8-10 minutes from Dry Creek Valley and the Russian River Valley, and other interesting spots in Sonoma County. We would stay here again when we return.

A lovely peaceful stay

We had such a great trip touring vineyards and being able to come back to a peaceful space was so important to us. We slept so well and enjoyed the serene environment provided for us. We were welcomed with snacks and wine that we enjoyed! Suzanne is a top notch host with a heart of gold. We would love to come back, and we have to because we forgot to sign the guest book! Floral bouquets for each room were a nice touch, my kind of hosting!

Quiet Oasis in Wine Country

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay in the bunkhouse in early March. Suzanne is a very generous and welcoming host -- thank you again for the delicious bottle of sauvignon blanc and other goodies! Communications with Suzanne were always clear and timely. The bunkhouse is very comfortable for a couple, with nice linens on the bed, plentiful towels in the bath, plenty of coffee for the morning. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Sonoma wine-country. We would love to return for a longer stay!

Great Location for Sonoma Valley Wine Tours

Perfect spot for a visit to Sonoma Valley wine tours. Located near many wineries and Healdsburg. The Bunkhouse is quaint and relaxing with its country style feel. A stress free visit. Sue went beyond the call of duty to make us feel at home and comfortable. She did a great job of communication. I highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing cottage with all the amenities.

Perfect stay in beautiful quiet road close to many vineyards

My husband and I stayed in mid October and would definitely stay here again. Perfect set up for us with a beautiful location for visiting many wineries on the same road but also super quick and easy drive to Healdsburg plaza. Nice touch with the bottle of wine and basket of fruit from the farm. Sue was super helpful but not overbearing. The mornings are foggy as expected but still beautiful. Absolutely no issues. Shower, Wi-Fi, TV, AC, little kitchen nook all better than expected actually. Super comfortable bed.

Sue and Ed were fantastic hosts, leaving us to our own plans but willingly offering recommendations on sites to see, wineries to visit, places to eat. Everything was fantastic. I'd highly recommend this place as a great getaway location. We will be back!

Quaint bunkhouse

Would be perfectly convenient place to stay if not for the heat wave (July) - while it's listed as having A/C, it is not central air, only a portable unit on one side of the bunkhouse. When we arrived it was not yet turned on... in >100 degree heat. Until the temperatures outside cooled after 2 days, the house was not comfortable. That said, if traveling in a cooler month, it is a very cute spot, the hosts are very kind and helpful, and it was a great location.

Beautiful farmhouse feel on Westside Road, perfect location for visiting wineries and downtown Healdsburg. Sue provided all the touches from fresh flowers to coffee (enough even for us and we drink a lot of coffee!), to water and wine waiting in the fridge. Perfect.

I can't say enough wonderfulf things about our stay! Sue was the perfect host and the space was immaculate. Comfortable bed, good sized closet to stow suitcases & hang clothes, nice hot shower & a comfy couch. There's a small fridge with a top freezer, a microwave & a keurig, which worked fine for us. The location is excellent. Minutes from downtown, wineries, restaurants, and a Safeway conveniently down the street. Honestly, we can't say enough good things and can't wait for our next visit!

Lovely Westside Experience

What a lovely weekend I had at Sue’s Bunkhouse on the Westside of Healdsburg. The place was charming, welcoming, clean, comfortable and serene in the heart of the Wine Country. If you like the country, you will love this little cabin surrounded by the sights and sounds of good country living. Sue thoughtfully provided me with wonderfully delicious chocolates, candied walnuts, cookies, bottled water, and the best bottle of wine straight from a local vineyard! Conveniently located, I easily went to/from the quaint and historic town of Healdsburg, as well as enjoyed local quiet walks through the redwoods, and a bicycle ride on a mountain loop overlooking the Wine Country at Foothill Regional Park which is within a short drive away. I would highly recommend Sue’s Bunkhouse for your next vacation get-away to the wine country! It was superb! Thank you again, Sue, for taking such good, quality care of me during my visit.
