Wirklich ein Urlaub im Paradies, das 1000 Quadratmeter große Wohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss befindet sich nur 30 Meter vom Meer entfernt. Das Parken ist direkt vor Ihrer Tür.
Beginnen Sie den Tag mit einem Spaziergang entlang des 4 Meilen langen unberührten Strandes, der mit einem Naturschutzgebiet vergleichbar ist. Es gibt keine Entwicklung entlang dieser Regierung geschützten Bereich erlaubt. Kanai 'A Nalu ist auf einer Sackgasse. Sonnenaufgang können über 10.000 Fuß Haleakala Volcano die jetzt dormant ist zu sehen. Wale und Schildkröten sind von der Veranda zu sehen. Die Wale kommen jedes Jahr in Maalaea Bay zur Welt.

Great family accommodations in Maui

The place was comfortable and right on the beach. It served us well for a sports training camp. It is a 25 minute drive to Lahaina and a 15 minute drive to Kihei.

Just great

We stayed one week in the appartment as a family with 3 kids (10/14/16yo). All was perfect and we liked the view most, hearing the ocean and seeing sea turtles all the time. Suprisingly the kids liked the pool too... On the pictures you don't see how deep it is but that was fun for the kids diving for hours (and for me it was nicely warm which I like). I did some barbeque right beside the pool and met others doing the same so socializing was very easy. The kitchen is extremely good equipped. I did some running early in the morning at the beach barefoot which was also a great experience. This condo is an absolute recommendation from us!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this condo- we appreciate all that was provided here! The beach items were great! We loved being able to walk right out to the ocean and being able to hear waves from our room. this was a perfect trip to Hawaii for our 2 teenage boys - we hope to be back! It was great to be so centrally located - we spent time in Lahaina and Kihei, We all loved cool cats in Lahaina ans snorkeling at Molokini and turtle town! Thank You!

Incredible view

We enjoyed the unit, one complaint in that the window air conditioning is inadequate to cool the entire space. Plus, a really large piece of furniture is blocking any air flow.

Aloha Timothy! Mahalo for staying with us and we hope you had a great time in Maui. This ground floor level unit is a real treat being so close to the ocean. We hope you enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. The window AC is newer with a BTU large enough to cover the square footage of the unit. If we had known you were having issues, we would of helped. There is a ECON mode that does not cool as well as the COOL mode plus use of the ceiling fans help move the air around the unit. Hope to have you back with us again soon!

family vacation

I rented this unit and 2 others for a family vacation. My parents stayed in this one. Was perfect for them to be able to walk out the door onto the lawn. Everything was clean and ready for them upon arrival. There was a small issue with the coffee pot. My mom called the management company and within a couple of hours someone brought over a new one and set it all up for her. Very nice people to deal with. Lots of fun. Lots of memories. Would recommend for sure.

It was fine.

It was fine for what we needed. Although there were not much businesses close by, it was centrally located between west and east of Maui. Condo needs a little updating. Water in the 2nd bathroom never got above luke warm, AC can't go above 72 degrees otherwise can go so got a little warm at times, but otherwise, condo was spacious and we enjoyed being able to walk out the patio door and on to the beach.

Aloha Emma! Mahlao for staying with us! We hope you had a great flight home and brought back many Maui memories for you to look back on. We would have been happy to help you during your stay with some of the items (AC cooling not on ECON mode for best cooling functions, and take a look at the bathroom temperature since the rest of the unit had no issues). This unit has all new living room furnishings this year, bathrooms have new granite coutnertops and new paint throughout the condo.

We had a amazing trip and will defiantly contact your company when we return in 3 years. We loved how professional and helpful you all were even with things out of your control with plumbing and the fire that left us in Kihei for 8 hours. We were so grateful that another unit was available and that you worked so hard to keep our vacation going. This was our 5th trip to Kanai A Nalu in the past 15 years, it was an interesting family vacation for sure. But hey... We were in Maui, so all was great! This is the type of customer service that makes it so easy to refer companies. Thanks you so much. We were looking forward to a bottom floor for the convenience of getting to and from the BBQ area as we had 3 units and 12 family members in all visiting at the same time. We made it all work and had a wonderful vacation! We look forward to contacting you again for another trip!

Good location, but reality falls short of photos

Maalea is in a convenient location on the island, being on the harbor and on the other side of the narrow neck of the island from the airport. The exterior of the building was a little shady--it looks like an apartment complex in a poor urban area. However, many of the complexes in/around the area looked the same. The two main drawbacks to this property are that our expectations were set too high by the photos, which made the property seem newer and nicer than it actually is. They also omit the Danger! sign on the lawn that (rightfully) warns you not to try to go directly down to the water from the property---it's rocky, with a pounding surf. The second is that the single wall A/C unit operates on a timer, which meant that the bedrooms became too hot to sleep in comfortably. Because it's a first-floor unit, with people often walking by right outside, we couldn't keep the shutters/windows fully open (or at all in the back bedroom, which faces the parking lot). The main positives are that the surf is literally right outside the main bedroom---you can feel the bigger waves literally shake the foundation---which we found very enjoyable at night. And management was responsive and anxious to please. For example, the washer left strange rust-colored stains on our clothes, and they figured out the problem and made it right by promptly giving us what we requested (cost of replacing the item of clothing we couldn't get the stains out of after we got home).

Island Home

Staying here felt like home. It was clean, well maintained, and very quiet. The lanai was our go to place, and we slept every night to the sound of waves. The public beach is only a short walk down the street, and we saw whales in the bay. Fabulous stay!

Great stay but a little covid stress

Overall very nice and helpful assistance when it was in their power to remedy a situation. Check in time is a bit late, 3 would be better than 4. Covid requirements for check in were a confusing, two green checks, knowing to sign into "TRIPS" for the checks. But folks did their best to help and we figured it out.

Steps from the ocean

A little dated but overall we had a nice stay in this oceanfront ground level unit. Beds weren’t the most comfortable, TV didn’t have streaming apps, and the refrigerator didn’t have filtered water, but we still had a good time. Unit had everything we needed to cook, eat, and wash. We found the contactless check-in efficient and convenient. The pool was large enough for a few families and never felt crowded. Beach access is right there with rinse off shower. Location was fairly central for the island which made it easy going to Lahaina, Kihei, and Kapalua. Not much else is around the area, so if eating out, be prepared to drive 15-20 mins. It was convenient hopping on a charter and going to the aquarium (5 mins away). There’s also a mini golf place up the road which was fun for the kids.

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing time at the condo. It was nice to have all the amenities at our fingertips. We would love to stay again. The only few things I would change is would be more beach towels, bathroom towels and toilet paper and paper towels. Also the master bed could use a new mattress. But all in all it was a wonderful time and we would recommend it!

Traveling again

We have stayed at this property in another unit as well. I would recommend staying here for location as we love that it is not crowded has miles of beach to explore and is centrally located for much of the island. This unit has some added privacy and a nice direct ocean view which was amazing. The property manager is very communicative and they honored requests when they could. We were able to check in early as we were moving between units in island mid trip and this was greatly helpful. They had Hawaiian music and the air conditioner going to welcome us. This was a really nice touch. I want to note that they only provide you with a starter kit of laundry and dishwasher pods. There is 5 provided and this wasn’t quite enough for someone staying for more than one week and to take care of some of the check out things they would like accomplished (load of dishes ran and laundry kept at a minimum). This is a little inconvenience but something to note. Maybe bring a few from home to get you through. It is also warm in the bedrooms at night as there is no air conditioner if you close the doors. We definitely will be back to this property in the future and would recomend it to you.

Wonderful!

Lovely and comfortable - plenty of room for our family. Loved hearing the waves lap the shore right outside our door. Unit had everything we needed for heading to the beach. Furniture was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great beach condo in Kihei

This condo was very comfortable and in a great location. The lanai was perfect with amazing beach views and direct access to the beach. The beach was so peaceful and private, and the property's pool was great as well. My only complaint, if any, was that there was only one air conditioning unit in the condo (in the living room) so the bedrooms were slightly warm at night, but leaving the windows open certainly helped. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay very much and I would definitely stay in this condo again.

Great property

We loved the unit and the location. Centrally located on the island so easy to get everywhere. Great beach just outside the unit. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic view, excellent value

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay at Kana’i-A-Nalu. The condo was well furnished and stocked with almost everything we needed except food/groceries. I even packed some household items just in case, and didn’t need most of them because they had them available already. Dishsoap, trash bags, laundry soap, even coffee filters. Communication with the unit owner and condo manager was quick and responsive. The view was spectacular! Definitely one of our favorite things about KAN-119. Whales, turtles, sunrises, sunsets... just lovely. Excellent value all around. Highly recommend!

5 miles of uncrowded beach, whale watching in Maalaea Bay which is the Humpback Whale calving and breeding grounds during the winter months (November through April) and Giant Green Sea Turtle watching year round right in front of the property! Ocean swimming, boogie boarding and surfing (during south swells), and windsurfing with in walking distance to the longest sugary beach on Maui! The Pacific Whale foundation is a short walk from the property so you can walk to your whale watch tour, or take educational classes without a car! A few restaurants to choose from, gas/quick mart and a family activity center featuring water bumper boats, mini golf, extreme trampoline and rock climbing! Their is a charming local store called "Maalaea General Store" 5 minutes by foot, for local eats, espresso, fruits and vegetables, liquor and lite grocery items.
