Great Place to Get Away From it All
This home is up in the hills with beautiful views. We hosted a group who spent most of the day bike riding the lovely east hills.
The home is remote, but lots to do with the garage full of air hockey, ping pong & a cool telescope.
The deck out front was perfect for enjoying the sunset and visiting in the evening.
The online listing describes the home as rustic, but everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was more stocked with spices, etc than I expected.
The living area also had plenty of space for the group to sit and visit after the ride.
Couple Notes (not complaints, just somethings to know)...
1. I may have missed this in the description, but the number of beds includes a queen bed in a separate house. This was great for our group, but if you had little kids you wanted close by you may want to know. It's close to the main house, but not in the same building.
2. The bunk bed room only had the two bottom beds, not the top bunks (we found them disassembled in the garage). We were counting on those beds, but we were able to make due with the couches in the living room (there are several).
3. We needed to bring drinking water, which was fine, I just wish I had known earlier when I was doing my shopping for the trip so I didn't need to make a special trip on our way up to the house.
Over all this was a perfect spot for our group. We were a group of adults celebrating a birthday. Spent lots of time cycling, eating, talking.
I would recommend and would be happy to return.
