My family loved everything about our stay in this unit. Beds, couch, kitchen, bath, and all of the extra amenities. Even though we didn't use the grill, or the beach chairs, it's awesome to know that we had options. It was just comfortable and truly relaxing vacation my family needed. AC was also EXCELLENT!!!!! 5 minute walk to the shops, beach, pools, and the fitness center (small, but my 19 year old son used it every night.) We loved everything about this unit. We loved our stay.

Pleasant private condo w/ great beach and pool access

We're a family of 4 w/ two kids under 10 and really enjoyed our 4-night stay. What we appreciated about this vrbo was the spaciousness, 2 beautiful lanais, 2 pools, beach amenities provided, easy beach access, paved walking paths and kitchen with everything. The property has beautiful landscaping and many birds which make it fun and tropical. One improvement that can be made to this property is an updated washer/dryer.

Location was wonderful. Unit was well appointed and clean. Airconditioning went out prior to our arrival and was not able to be fixed during our stay, so unit became uncomfortably warm during the day. Management tried to have it repaired for the first couple days, then informed us that parts would not be available. They did work with is on a partial refund, which was appreciated.

The unit is dated and things were broken or didn’t work. I was notified while driving to the unit that the washer and dryer were not working- which impacted our stay- we had packed lightly and planned to wash clothes mid-way thru our stay- but couldn’t. It would have been nice to know ahead of time this was not an option. The luggage rack in master was broken, the handheld shower bracket was broken, the fluorescent light in same bathroom was flickering, one of the table lamps behind the sofa didn’t work. There was food stuck on plates and flatware that had been put away. I was sent the wrong wifi code and the wrong gate code for beach access, and there were no clean/new sponges or dish washing cloths in the kitchen. Overall, it was a disappointing stay for the cost (the beach pool was FAR from the unit- down a steep hill- that should be in the description, as my husband has 2 fake knees and a fake hip. and the partial ocean view from the balcony was more partial than a view!

We even tried to call you to check in, but did not hear back, unfortunately. The washer and dryer experienced an unexpected failure shortly before your arrival and we notified you as soon as we became aware. We understand this was inconvenient. The maintenance items you noted have been sent to our onsite team for immediate correction and we are reviewing cleanliness with our housekeeping partners to ensure this does not recur. Regarding access information, we have confirmed that the correct WiFi and gate codes were provided in your arrival instructions. The community does, however, experience occasional WiFi interruptions, and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Wailea Elua Village is a terraced property and while our listing explains the hillside layout, pool locations, and partial ocean view, we are reviewing the description to ensure it remains fully clear for guests with mobility considerations. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back for a much better experience.

nice condo - low value

VRBO map pin location is INCORRECT and misleading - property location is less ideal than VRBO map would indicate. There is nothing wrong with this property other than location vs. pool & beach, and the nightly rate. Condo is spacious and well equipped - clean, lots of towels, sheets and pillows, quiet. access to the beach is direct (no crossing busy streets) but it is uphill/downhill and 5-10 min walk from the top of the property to the bottom where you have beach access. for what we were charged nightly during our rental we could've booked a full service hotel w/direct ocean view walking distance from the condo. Nice unit, clean unit, well equipped, location less ideal than indicated on map, could be an excellent rental at the right price - compare vs. local high end hotels. We paid an high end price for a nice and above average unit - value is out of line with property ammenities and location.

Great location, very clean with everything you need to enjoy a home away from home! Walking distance to just about everything (beach, restaurants, shopping, etc.).

Spacious and stocked

The unit we rented was spacious and well stocked. There were lots of boogie boards. It was a bit dated. This is a great unit for a family and our 2 granddaughters were very comfortable on the pull out sofa. Location is amazing and KBM staff were great to deal with.

Calm and relaxing

This property looks just like the photos! It has almost everything you need in the kitchen and lots of items to use at the beach. It is clean and welcoming. We were a bit disappointed because the original location of the unit showed to be directly next to the pool. We were all the way at the top of the property next to a road. This unit is also underneath another condo. The family above us was very loud and disruptive. If I had known this property was below another I would have rented the upper unit. When we arrived there were several ant and roach traps throughout the unit. We had a massive issue with ants during the stay. We did see a number of roaches and we understand that it’s next to the ocean. The dishwasher was completely mildewed and smelled horrible. We needed up hand washing everything. Overall it was a nice stay. The association employees were very kind and helpful!

Maui

This was a lovely and well equipped home (e.g. kitchen and beach supplies). The property is Bea with good beach access. Close to a nice shopping area, too. We loved our stay!

Amazing condo and it was even better than we expected

Amazing condo and an exceptional value! It was even better than we expected. Extremely roomy with lots of space to spread out for the entire family - two large bedrooms, living room, balcony, backyard lanai, and a garage stocked with beach toys, chairs and umbrellas! Everything was spotless, clean, and updated. The condo was extremely well stocked, we were even provided clothes detergent and a complimentary box of Hawaiian chocolates! Location was perfect, a short a pleasant walk through the grounds to one of our favorite beaches on Maui - Ulua beach (great snorkeling there). KBM guest services agents were very responsive and helpful. Overall we couldn't be happier, and will definitely return! Thank you!
