Willkommen im Nirvana! Direkt am Strand und dem majestätischen Beach Club im POINTE WEST RESORT gelegen. Sie werden die atemberaubenden SONNENUNTERGÄNGE und den SONNENAUFGANG auf unseren mit Möbeln ausgestatteten Balkonen lieben, auf denen Sie sitzen, essen und entspannen können. Diese Galveston Eigentumswohnung ist ein idealer Ort, um die Familie für einen Strandurlaub zu bringen. Neu erneuerte, hinzugefügte Funktionen, damit Sie alles finden, was Sie brauchen. Geräumiger Wohnbereich und Schlafzimmer, neue Holzböden und Möbel sowie eine neue Waschmaschine / Trockner und Elektrogrill. Geräumiger Wohnbereich mit Zugang zu WLAN und TV sowie Brettspielen für die ganze Familie! Wir sind ständig auf der Suche nach Möglichkeiten, Ihren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten, nach neuen Holzböden und Möbeln sowie nach einer neuen Waschmaschine / Trockner und einem neuen Elektrogrill.
Die Gäste werden 2 Swimmingpools im Resort-Stil, einen Pool in der Bucht mit Strömungskanal, ein Fitnesscenter, ein Restaurant, eine Lounge für Besitzer, ein Spielzimmer, einen Souvenirladen, Sicherheitsdienste, zahlreiche soziale Aktivitäten das ganze Jahr über, einen gepflegten Strand und ein wunderschönes, weitläufiges Privatgrundstück genießen mit wunderschönen Landschaften und Wegen, die die Insel vom Strand bis zur Bucht überspannen!

Für den Zugang zum Beach Club wird in der Hochsaison vom 1. März bis 15. September eine Armbandgebühr erhoben. Beach Club-Armbänder kosten 10 US-Dollar. 00 pro Person für alle ab 4 Jahren (für den gesamten Aufenthalt). Während der Nebensaison - 16. September bis 28. Februar; Beach Club-Armbänder sind kostenlos (max. 9 gemäß der Verbandsrichtlinie, die 3 Armbänder pro Zimmer zulässt). Zusätzliche Armbänder können für 25 USD angefordert werden. 00 pro Tag. Pointe West ist eine wunderschöne Ferienanlage am Ende der Insel Galveston in der Nähe des San Luis Pass und des Jamaica Beach, sodass Sie in der Nähe des Geschehens sein können!

Great Family Vacation

Amazing location and perfect size for our family of 9. We had 6 adults and 3 kiddos - and there was a bed for everyone! This unit is super close to the beach and the beach club. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the band play at the bar (and we didn't have to buy drinks!) We also enjoyed the Sunrise from the front balcony and Sunset from the back. We had to change our reservation due to a death in the family and host was very accommodating moving the dates for us! We will definitely be back next year!

Nice property, would stay again

Our stay was mostly good. The host communicated well, the property was clean and the host was not overly picky about how the property is used; they just basically asked us to treat the property the way we would treat our own home. The check in process and check out process was very easy. We had a sick child the day we checked in and we were so glad we were able to get in a little early! Also, there are a couple of very nice balconies to sit and hear the gulf. The property grounds are well-maintained and lovely. The condo is well stocked with pans, plates, cups, silverware, appliances, etc.There are a few issues (some of which I think the owner will correct because they probably just have never been pointed out). It was not obvious to me that the pool and hot tub were part of the beach club, which requires paying a separate fee of 25.00 per person. It was also not obvious that some of the amenities are not directly on the property where the condo is (they are down the road). The amenities are very nice, though, and maybe not highlighted enough in the description. Also, we had 6 people and could have used a few more towels, washcloths, etc. Lastly, the condo did not seem to cool below about 75 degrees during the day. In the evening it got cooler. This is only an issue for us because we like it very cool in our house (68 year round), but this was just a minor inconvenience. 100% would stay again and highly recommend. Great hosts; you will not be disappointed with your stay.

Nice but needs a little maintenance.

Overall it was a nice place, but some dishes and coffee maker were dirty, tray in fridge broken, handle in stove drawer broken, holder for soap on dishwasher was broken, ceiling fan in living room didn't work. Some kind of brown stuff on master bathroom shower floor. Lock on main door hard to open even with code

Renter beware

We were very much looking forward to our stay. The location and ability to have the beach and pool was exciting but unfortunately we won’t return to this unit within the property.Upon checking in they didn’t have my correct name and the information they sent only had the code to enter but not the property or number. I wasn’t that bothered at first since I figured I would just message the host. I message the host and received no response. We eventually figured it out through the front desk but it took about 30mins.The property is in ok condition but we knew that when we booked. Everything was going well except we went to do laundry and the washing machine (which is from the late 90’s/early 2000’s) didn’t work. It filled with water but nothing else. We are grown adults who know how to fix things but even the spin cycle didn’t work. This wasn’t a huge issue except the day after we checked out the owner tried to charge us 300 plus because there was water in the washing machine.Overall, we had a poor experience and I would not trust this owner based on poor communication and charging for things that were already broken and old.

Perfect for our family of 8! Beach club was so close and although the weather made it chilly to swim the condo and resort were very nice! Host was very accommodating and quick to respond.

Great Condo

We had a great stay at this condo. Condo was clean and nicely decorated. The location is convenient to the beach club. The pools are great, good food at the restaurant. We were able to get a reservation for our large party at the last minute on a holiday weekend. My only recommendation is to bring bug spray, the mosquitos are very bad all over the property (no fault to the owner!). All in all, a great time and experience.

Nice Visit But Could Have Been Much Better!

Immediately noticed many light bulbs out - FRONT ENTRANCE, master bedroom, light over stove(!). Window blinds need to be replaced - this is the first thing you notice when you enter the unit! HVAC system is a nightmare! The "NEST" system is hi-tech, but not useable by non-tech users - we were never able to control the HVAC system, even with the assistance of the owner! Cleanliness - All kitchenware was visibly dirty and had to be washed before use (we spent several hours washing tableware and silverware!). The GFI doesn't work in master bath or on porch. The refrigerator needs serious attention - it told us that it needs a new water filter and a new air filter. When we arrived at the unit, the refrigerator was screaming an alarm that it needed attention and we had to turn it off. This unit needs serious attention!

Very far from anythimg

It is super far (30 minutes) to most anything. We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of order the whole time. We only had 3 small beach towels, no wash cloths and no dish towels. Tons of light bulbs were out, washer/dryer were filthy, cigarette butts all over the patio and blinds were rusted open.

A previous review said the property could use a good cleaning. That is still true. The unit had a damp, fishy, stale smell that lingered throughout our stay. There were several spots of black mold spread throughout the unit on the ceiling. This was our first time visiting an oceanfront area of Texas, so maybe this is a common problem, but needless to say - we weren’t expecting it. The dishwasher did not thoroughly clean the dishes. We hand-washed all the dishes before using them. In all fairness, I did not message the property manager about any of these issues during our stay. The unit had ample space for our family. The 3rd bedroom with bunks and trundle was perfect for the kids. The Pointe West grounds are very well maintained and clean. This unit is close proximity to the pool, fitness center and walk ways to the beach. The walk to the beach was longer than we anticipated … but this unit is one of the closest to the beach. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site - the food was good and portions were sizeable.

Wonderful mini vacation!

Our family just had a wonderful mini vacation at Pointe West. We will definitely be rebooking in the future! The property is well taken care of and our condo was great for our family. The kitchen is well stocked and I want to say great job to the host for that! There is always something you forget when traveling and you want to cook but it was well stocked with spices, cooking utensils, plastic ware, etc! I only gave a 4 star for listing because of not listing the property bands we had to pay extra for. We actually didn’t use the pool at the club but the lazy river and the beach area which is great! Seems the property owner probably pays enough when looking at the dues for this property (only because we were interested if we wanted to purchase in the future) they shouldn’t expect guest to pay extra to use. Bands should be included with rental. Some repairs that could be done: the inside door handle kept falling off and needs to be repaired. There was a small leak of water that came down from the ceiling vent while we were playing cards. Not constant but thought you might want to know. Thanks for the coffee and the wine! 😀

Good Condo complex

The condo was nice and very well stocked with everything you need. The wagon and sand toys were a plus. The beach chairs were old and moldy. The 2nd pool with lazy river was a short drive. Both pools were nice, a little chilly. This is at the end of the island so it is a drive to any stores or attractions. It was fun looking for ghost crabs on the beach. The owners were not very responsive to questions. It took 3 emails to get a reply to basic questions after we booked the condo. Day of I messaged them to see if we could get in a little early and pay a surcharge again with no replies, we had someone not feeling well. We left something behind and was told it would be mailed. Again I sent emails and text that went unanswered. Finally got a reply that they sent our item back to us, over a week after they already said it was sent. If you are ok with poor customer service from the owners, then this is a place to stay. Quiet and the staff was friendly. Fishing pond on property too.- March 2021
