Die River Rest Cabin ist ein 2 Hektar großes Anwesen am Fluss, umgeben von einer 50 Hektar großen Farm im Herzen der Great Smoky Mountains (KEINE NACHBEN!). Paradies für Angler und Wassererholung! Genießen Sie die Privatsphäre und Abgeschiedenheit, während Sie nach Gatlinburg, Pigeon, Forge und Sevierville gelangen! Genießen Sie eine ULTRA private, jedoch ganzjährig zugängliche Kabine mit 2 Schlafzimmern (Kingsize-Betten - eines auf der Hauptebene und das andere im Loft-Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss) + einem Queensize-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer + 2 kompletten Badezimmern im West Prong des Kleiner Pigeon River in den Smoky Mountains. Diese kürzlich renovierte, luxuriöse Hütte ist von mehr als 50 Hektar Ackerland umgeben, von wo aus Sie aus jedem Fenster den Fluss, die Natur, den Bauernhof und Wildtiere wie Hirsche und Schwarzbären sehen können! Fischen Sie von Ihrer Veranda! Die Straße hinunter, von der aus Dolly Parton aufwuchs, und in der Mitte zwischen Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge und Sevierville (Pittman Center) wurde die Hütte liebevoll von Hand des Vaters des Vorbesitzers gebaut. Es wurde auch liebevoll restauriert und Anfang 2019 für 3 Monate renoviert.

Mit einfachem Zugang das ganze Jahr über (auch im Winter), sind Sie nah dran! Wandern, Angeln, Tubing, Sightseeing, Wildwasser-Rafting, Schwimmen, Einkaufen, Skifahren / Eislaufen, Dollywood, Wandern in der Innenstadt von Gatlinburg und der Greenbrier-Eingang des Great Smoky Mountains-Nationalparks sind alle in der Nähe. Genießen Sie absolute Privatsphäre, die Bequemlichkeit seiner zentralen Lage und den majestätischen Little Pigeon River!

Perfekt für Flitterwochen, Familienurlaub, Jubiläen / Geburtstage, Abenteuerreisen oder einfach nur für einen ruhigen Zufluchtsort. Die Hütte verfügt über eine große überdachte Veranda, auf der Sie den ganzen Tag in Schaukelstühlen sitzen und den Fluss genießen können. Best River Cabin

The cabin and view were gorgeous! The property was lovely. During our stay we had a great time in the river kayaking and tubing. We then got in the hot tub which was also amazing! The drive to the cabin was pleasant and it was easy to access. We were also able to cook while we were there and the hosts had all the utensils needed. Overall this was one of the best cabins we have stayed at. We will definitely be coming back!

Family getaway

My parents, boyfriend and I visited from Nashville and had a wonderful time at River Rest. We fly fished from the property and had many nibbles and a few bites. The property was clean and spacious and very comfortable. We are very happy with our stay and hope to be back again.

Little slice of Heaven

We could not have asked for a better host or a better property. We arrived a little later and our host Caroline made sure the lights were on and music was playing. It was the perfect start to our family vacation. The cabin and location on the river is perfect! We didn’t even want to leave to go sightseeing. The cabin had everything and the river was so much fun! We kayaked, tubed and fished. It was everything you could ask for in a vacation property and then some. Everything was beyond our expectations. Even our 13 year year-old daughter enjoyed it. We will definitely be back next summer.

River Rest Cabin Lives Up To It's Name

So happy we chose this location for our annual vacation. It was not only serene but rejuvenating at the end of a day exploring the Smokies. It's the first vacation we ever came back from feeling rested, and much of that was to do with the cabin. You can tell Caroline put a lot of thought into the choice of amenities for sleeping, bathing, cooking, and lounging. And the location is perfect for feeling like you are away from it all while being a short distance from anything you would need. We would not hesitate to stay there again on a future trip.

This cabin has it all!

The pictures and the description are just a sneak peak of the most wonderful cabin we have ever visited! The property offers ideal relaxation and adventure; go kayak-fishing in the river or rock on the deck as you read a book. The host has a gift for making you feel welcome and is easy to communicate with before and during your stay! Impeccable furnishings, comfortable beds, clean and tidy, well- stocked kitchen (appliances, utensils, spices, kitchen staples, cookware, bakeware), just need your groceries and your water shoes! Everything that was promised and more

This was an amazing property with an equally amazing owner. The advertised pictures were great but the property really needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated. We caught 7 trout, saw a Bald Eagle, rocked for hours on the back porch overlooking the river, and really just spent 4 days hypnotized by the experience. We travel quite a bit, but this genuinely may have been our favorite destination of anywhere we've been. We didn't need a single thing that wasn't furnished, except groceries, but Caroline went out of her way to make sure that we were content. Definitely a place that we hope to return to, whenever we want to get away from the hustle of Florida.

A Little Slice of Heaven

We loved the property! It was far enough from the city to feel secluded, but close enough that nothing was too far out of reach. The cabin was small, but fit our family of five just right. We came to be outdoors, and the deck space and fire pit were amazing. My two older boys shared the king size bed, and we fit an air mattress on the floor for our youngest. There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and sheets for him. Our boys are ages 9-11 and they had a great time playing on the river and property. The pantry was fully stacked with spices and other cooking necessities. It was easy to prepare meals. There were also a couple of places in close proximity to eat. Preachers BBQ was awesome and affordable; just be aware that it's not open Mondays and Tuesdays. The host was very helpful with information on local attractions and hikes. She was also speedy to reply to any questions both before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for families and we hope to return some day!

An amazing time of relaxation

This was our second visit to this amazing cabin and neither time has disappointed. We enjoyed fishing and wading in the river behind the cabin. We utilizing the supplied kayaks to teach our teenagers how to use them in the calm waters. We enjoyed family time each evening by the fire pit. Thank you!

Stunning and tranquil property unlike any other

We were so impressed with the property! Everything was clean and beautiful. The cabin was updated and sleek but still had a welcome and comfortable feel. Personally, I was very happy to stay somewhere that was not decorated top to bottom in buffalo plaid, with moose and bear decor. The cabin was so tastefully decorated! The hosts graciously provided everything a guest could need and more. Seasonings are even available in the kitchen! Every effort was made to make us feel at home. The outdoor portion of the property was incredibly beautiful. I wanted to be outdoors every waking moment. The stream provides a tranquil setting to an already relaxing atmosphere. We were very grateful for the opportunity to stay at this "unicorn" property in the mountains. Most cabins are within a stone's throw from the next cabin. This stunning property will forever be a beautiful memory of my time in the Smokey Mountains. Thank you so much for all of your attention to detail. It did not go unnoticed!

Peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything was clean. Fire pit was perfect for making s’mores. Deck over the river was very nice, my wife read on the deck while I fished. The owners went above and beyond, even delivering a tea kettle so my wife could enjoy her tea. The kitchen is a little tight for two people cooking, but it’s a getaway cabin and that’s fine. Highly recommend staying here, off the beaten path and away from the crowds.

The owner is phenomenal. She sent us details and instructions on time without having to ask. The cabin was beautifully decorated and super clean/organized. All the details were well thought out. The setting is amazing. We had an absolutely blast. You can’t go wrong here. It’s more secluded and nicer than anything in the area.

Much needed break!

Beautiful. Welcoming. Relaxing. Simple. Perfect. These are just a few words to describe our spring break at the River Rest Cabin. Trying to find a place to satisfy an 18 - 14 and 10 yr old is challenging... but this home fits the bill. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were at home. The beautiful decor and simple touches throughout the house are hard to describe. Caroline has thought of everything; I don't think my kitchen had as many accommodations as this one did! My boys (18/14) had the best time fishing, and my daughter (10) loved collecting river rocks. I highly recommend this home. We will be returning soon.

I was born and raised in Gatlinburg, and I spent my entire childhood growing up in the Smokies. I moved to Texas in 2015 when I got married to my husband, Clay. We had our daughter in 2018, and I wanted to have a place that we could call home when we visited. We bought River Rest Cabin and its 2 acres in the fall of 2018, and it was the perfect cure for my homesickness! In 2020, we decided to move to the Smoky Mountains and call Gatlinburg home. The cabin is a very special place where I hope my guests enjoy nature, have fun year-round, experience mountain hospitality, and explore all the beauty surrounding my hometown. It's true what they say... the mountains are calling!

I've driven by this property a million times growing up, but when we found it was secretly coming for sale, we flew up to buy it the next day! It's such a rare cabin surrounded by farm land and located on a pristine piece of property on the Little Pigeon River right on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Famous for its trout fishing and gentle flowing waters, the Little Pigeon River is our HAPPY PLACE. I want to share the cabin with you and yours so that you can experience why our family and guests find it so special!

River Rest Cabin is unlike any cabin in the Smoky Mountains. It's ON the river, meaning completely waterfront, while being surrounded by untouched farm land in total privacy. There's even a unique swimming hole, the original "Riviera," on the property that has been enjoyed for decades or more. Yet, the cabin is in the middle of it all, being less than 20 minutes from almost everything you would want to do in the area. It's the best of both worlds being in the midst of the most beautiful place on Earth, the Great Smoky Mountains, with adventure and relaxation at your doorstep!
