Machen Sie dies zu Ihrem zweiten Zuhause, während Sie die besten Gegenden im Norden von Michigan erkunden. Kajakfahren, Skifahren, Motorschlitten usw. - alles in wenigen Minuten. Behalten Sie Ihr Boot im großzügigen Hof oder in der Garage. Es gibt eine Feuerstelle hinten und die Küche ist für jedes Kochen ausgestattet, das Sie tun möchten. Wir haben volle Wäscherei und bequeme Betten mit einem offenen Grundriss, der es einfach macht, eine größere Gruppe zu haben, als Sie es von einem 2-Schlafzimmer-Haus erwarten würden. BBQ auf dem neuen Deck mit vielen bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien. In der Küche finden Sie eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Keurig, einen Smoothie-Maker, Bratpfannen, Geschirr und Besteck sowie einige Vorratskostenzubehörteile. Wir bieten Bettwäsche sowie Badetücher. Wir haben WIFI, ROKU TV, DVD, eine Wii und viele Brettspiele. sowie ein paar Spielsachen. Es gibt eine angeschlossene Garage für zusätzliche Sportausrüstung oder Schneemobile. Mit der Binnenschifffahrt in der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Angelmöglichkeiten. Wir sind 1/2 Meile von einem großartigen Einstiegspunkt zum Kajak oder der U-Bahn des Sturgeon und ungefähr gleich weit vom Ausgangspunkt für präparierte Schneemobilwege (North-Central Trail / Indian River / Petoskey Trail). Wir sind 5 km vom Burt Lake State Park und Big Bear Adventures und etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten von Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinaw, Gaylord und Cheboygan für unbegrenzte Abenteuer.

Home away from home!

Beautiful home located just outside of town. Wonderful for families! Everything you could imagine was provided including (for those with younger children) toys, games, books. Definitely a must book again!

Wonderfully cozy house

Great location and a cozy little house with all of the amenities you could need. Fenced in yard was great for the dog. Super clean. We spent most days in the woods, shopped at Ken’s for groceries and cooked meals at home. Perfect fall hunting getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Hidden Gem!

This home was perfect for our needs, plenty of space, lots of seating outside, comfy couch, was nice to have a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. Well equipped kitchen, had all the things. Lots of extra linens and blankets. Close to Burt lake, kids went fishing at the river and town had all the amenities.

6+ stars - fabulous getaway cottage!

This house is well accessorized and clean. Ceiling fans throughout make it comfortable. Beds are comfortable and lots of pillows. Kitchen has lots of dishes and accessories as well as basic supplies. The table is great for eating or games. The living room is comfortable and spacious. Loved the yard including the swing and access to trails. Quiet area and easy access. We would stay again, and highly recommend.

Wonderful for our family trip

This property was perfect for our family get away! The space was clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed the inside space as well as the outside space. There is a grocery store close by so we were able to cook out while enjoying the fire pit. There are some nice local restaurants in the area as well. Our kids are college age. We enjoyed our family time and liked the amount of space we had to spread out a bit. The location was ideal for us. We were just a half hour from Mackinac city and Petkusky. The owners left us a huge binder of area attractions as well. We hope to return in the near future !

First stay at Indian River ALL SEASON cottage

The property was very clean and well-supplied. I would say it was priced well too. We did not know what to expect so we brought our own pots and pans and some of our own cups and plateware, but the cabin had everything you would need. We just needed to bring food and clothes to enjoy the house. We rented a boat from the Indian River Marine which was just down the street. In fact, the house is in a great location and not too far from everything that makes this area of Michigan a gem and such a wonderful summer vacation destination. If given the opportunity, we would definitely rent this house again.

Not too private

For ourselves, we were disappointed with the lack of privacy. The traffic noise was pretty heavy and the next door neighbors dog barked incessantly. The cottage itself was neat, clean and well stocked.

We have 2 empty treed lots on either side of us as well as acreage that extends to state land behind so I can’t imagine any privacy issues. The dog two houses over only barks when other dogs are outside and your golden was likely someone he wanted to greet. Our home is on Straits Hwy so there is some traffic during high volume times like mornings but our house sits back away from the road and it is not disruptive at night. You had no complaints made directly to us for suggested improvements other than your complaint about the boat launch being closed for construction which was news to us. IR has a beautiful public launch another mile away that also takes you to Burt Lake. I’m not sure what the 4 score represents that we could change. That is what we like to know…things we can improve on.

Home away from home.

I chose this home because it has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms and it’s conveniently located near many things to do. We hiked and checked out the nearby state parks. Had a fire one night and did a little laundry. Most of our meals we cooked. Want to stress our gratitude for the well-stocked kitchen. Lots of dishes, utensils and pots and pans. Easy to have more than one person working in the kitchen. Even better is the open floor plan that facilitated conversation. Overall, a comfortable, functional home away from home.

Wonderful experience

Every detail is taken care of at this property! We enjoyed returning to it so much every evening after our local day trips! Close to many Michigan highlights but off the beaten path just enough to keep you away from the congestion during peak travel season. Very clean and neat! Plan to return for sure!

Beautiful Indian River!

So happy that I chose Stay and Play for my visit to Indian River! My best friend and I reunited after not seeing each other for years and it was perfect! The house is beautiful and clean. Very roomy and nicely decorated. Best rental i have ever stayed in! Can't wait to stay again!

Relaxing in a comfortable home from home

We enjoyed the location of the property as it is close to the cross in the woods, Mackinaw City and Petoskey. My wife and I were able to relax with our 2 kids, prapare some meals, play with the wi, watch some tv and go to church. Everything they posted about the property is true. We are planning to come back. We loved the sunsets while eating dinner at the dining table.

The property has a lot of trail to hike on as well as hiking trails on state land nearby. The house was cute and had everything we forgot to bring.

our stay at "stay and "play.

This is a very nice place to stay and the cost is very reasonable. It is located just a short distance from downtown Indian River. This makes it very accessible to major lakes and streams and also thousands of acres of State Forest and the 4 season trails they have. Our stay was marred by very bad weather for our purposes but would be great for a small group or family especially in the summer. Great fenced in yard for kids and pets and a very nice deck and area outside of fence for a fire pit and relaxing chairs. Would highly recommendd.

We purchased this home because we love spending time in this area. Our family are outdoor enthusiasts who love to spend time together. This is a perfect place for us to do that when we all have time off. We have done a lot of renting through these types of websites and so we know how to prepare for traveler expectations. We look forward to sharing our cottage with you. We are going to keep exploring and sharing our discoveries with our guests. We have acquired a great host team to help us with assuring your stay highly satisfying.

This cottage is centrally located to all of the beautiful rivers, lakes, beaches, shopping, sunsets, historical sites and trail systems. It is easy to find, is on a nicely treed lot with privacy that is hard to find when you're on the water. We have direct access to state land through the back of our lot and well marked trails. This is especially nice for walking the dog, exploring nature and enjoying winter soft sports. We are very close to the "put in" at White Road to ride the Sturgeon. We are equally close to the trail head for groomed snowmobile trails. The North Central Trail runs next to the Sturgeon across the street from our home.
The backyard has a generous fenced area with a fire pit behind the fenced area. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles / trailers.

Views of the woods and wildlife from the back of the house will have you watching for the deer. The home is sunny and warm even though it's nestled amidst the trees of of a wooded lot. You can really relax here inside and out.
Special traits include full laundry, fenced yard, private lot, easy access and centrally located to Petosky, Cheboygan and Mackinaw City, close to Burt Lake State Park, and the Surgeon River as well as the North Central Trail.
