Eine alte hawaiianische Tempel ziert die Stelle, an der Spitze der Wailua Bay in der Hauptstadt des Königreichs von Kauai. Viele interessante Orte sind in der Nähe sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Diese gepflegte, Nichtraucher-Einheit (die gesamte Outrigger Resort ist Nichtraucher, der Strand ist öffentlich) ist von unserem Familienbesitz seit es gebaut wurde.

Verbinden Sie unsere Ohana der wiederkehrende Besucher, die diesen günstig gelegen Luxus-Apartment Zeit genossen und immer wieder haben. Die Ostseite von Kauai ist auf halbem Weg zum Poipu Beach und malerischen Princeville und Hanalei Bay auf der Northshore und verfügt über die verschiedensten Möglichkeiten für Restaurants und anderen Attraktionen auf der Insel.

Wir haben uns in der Heiau (Hawaiian Temple) verheiratet und haben viele schöne Erinnerungen, an die wir uns Zeit, die wir auf unserer Insel zu Hause bleiben hinzuzufügen. Awesome location

Beautiful grounds, fun beach, walking distance to shops and restaurants plus everything on the island is within a 40 minute drive. But don't plan on sleeping on the convertible sofa.

Beautiful beach condo

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Nani. The unit was very comfortable, and the entire area was beautifully landscaped. The beach/cove area was one of the nicest in the area! A short walk down the beach led to a great restaurant and a perfect spot to see the sunrise each morning. It was very centrally located, so drives to both the North coast and South coast were not too time consuming. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip!

Great location, very nice and well equipped condo

The ground floor condo felt very safe and it was such a bonus to be able to walk out to the beach. At the quiet end of a stretch of condos and the start of a very long boardwalk, trail. As a daily runner, this was the best place for running of the five places we stayed on three Islands in Hawaii.

Lae Nani Wonderful Stay

This is our second time staying at Lae Nani and in the same unit. The location is absolutely wonderful! It is lovely to be able to walk right out to the exceptionally well-kept grounds, the large pool and the quiet beautiful beach. The condo owners have updated the unit to make it even more comfortable. Having the ocean breeze flow through the windows kept the rooms cool and was a constant reminder that we were staying in a tropical paradise! We would definitely stay here again!

AWESOME CONDO! GREAT TIME

Just got back from a 4 island tour of Hawaii. The best time was on Kauai, and our stay at our Lae Nani condo was perfect. The condo was perfect and the view of Wailua Bay and having the boulder enclosed pool constantly beckoned my kids to go back and forth. They spent tons of time in the clean, well kept pool also. The unit provided everything we could ask for and the staff was very friendly. The hardest part was to get the kids out and about because they had such a blast at the condo and the beautiful grounds.

Glad to report kids love our condo- being on the ground floor let's them run around more, and there are no balcony safety issues. My kids were running back and forth all day fishing, boogieboarding and swimming in the pool.

We loved our stay here! The condo was clean, spacious and charming. Located in a gated community, the grounds were very well kept and the beach was beautiful. Location was perfect, close to airport, food, shopping and a good central point to drive around the island with a rental car. Unfortunately we had rain the whole stay there but it gave us an opportunity to go to tourist attractions then relax in the living room with a redbox movie we got from a shopping center 4 minutes away in the evenings. No A/C but a lot of fans in the condo. Thank you for having us! We enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Grounds beautiful, unit was ok but too hot for us. Great floors, great kitchen. Barbecue is quite a ways from unit but adequate. Pool is really nice. Construction out our front door. Rock chiseling/ landscaping on lanai. Beach is very small, not walkable. Great view.

Actually, the beach is walkable at various places in the bay and along the coast north. But at higher tides it may not. August is the hottest month and if the trade winds back off, yes it can be warm however our ground floor condo has 11 foot high ceilings and the heat rises so it isn't like upstairs units.

Ironic that I leave for Kauai to change management and do some upgrades just when I get this review. Some clarifications: we state on vrbo that there is not a sofabed and that we have a tall blow up queen and a fold up futon which is best for kids. But we are not promoting this for 4 adults. We have many longer stays, especially in winter that is suitable for a couple. There are 3 very large dresser drawers and 2 smaller drawers in each bedside table as shown in the photos. The closet has extra linens, pillows, and beach towels and a safe on the shelf and it is possible that beach stuff was not stored back in the lanai storage box by the cleaning staff. Normally there is a small laundry bin and a broom and many hangers in the double wide closet. Some people do not like the classic Hawaiian decor as shown on the site, but we enjoy it. Feels like home!

Great location, BUT….

Our favorite condo complex, so great location but this particular unit is managed through Outrigger and check-in was not at the complex. Had to drive to nearby resort lobby to check in - and then wait because condo wasn’t ready yet. When we got in we discovered that the “double futon” advertised as the additional sleeping option was in fact two blow-up twin mattresses. The sofa bed is not functional and there is no futon. Also, several windows cannot be closed and the shower curtain is moldy. The kitchen is well-stocked with cutlery, dishes, etc but if you want to cook you need to buy absolutely everything-there isn’t anything like salt, pepper or oil. Pantry is completely empty, which is different from other units we’ve rented in this complex. On the plus side, there are two nice beach chairs, a cooler, and blue ice blocks available for use.

Outrigger is no longer managing our condo, so sorry if the lapses in their responsibility was not a good experience. I do want to point out that we state on vrbo that we have a queen tall autoblow up bed and a small fold up futon that is in a plastic bag in the closet. Our rattan furniture is not equipped with a sofa bed. We disclose this because primarily our guests are couples and when they have one or two children this has been fine for them. Two additional adults is not a good fit if a sofa bed is their preference. We now do have various condiments as our cleaners do not toss out such items as was an issue previously. Because we no longer have a relationship with Outrigger, no check in at a different location is necessary; the complex and our condo has electric key code entrance for your convenience. There is no issue with the shower and the windows are fine. The posted photos are a good representation of the condo and it is immaculate upon arrival. We wish all a wonderful stay at our Kauai Ohana.

Stunning Views

This property and unit is amazing. Has all amenities you could need and close to anything you might want. Condo is newly renovated and loved the convenience of being on the ground floor. Only complaints: 1) we could not leave patio doors open to hear the waves all night long and 2) Fairly noisy by the road at times. Host and propert manager were great to deal with. We were able to have a late checkout as our flight was late and that was like having an extra day. We loved our time at Lae Nani and hope to book again.

Great condo and property. These condo's and properties are well kept. The only flaw which is minor, the beach in front of this condo complex is just okay. Great for sunning, but not the best for swimming or snorkeling.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. It is important to always be careful in the waters off Hawaii. Read the water, don’t go in if conditions are rough. At higher tides, if you are not comfortable in the ocean with its currents, take a plunge in the lava rock encircled keiki pool. If the waters are calm, be careful and enjoy a swim. There is a very large protected ocean swimming area nearby at Lydgate Park with its lawn area, showers, and fun play structure for kids.

Perfect for two

We enjoyed our stay here. The beach is nice and the pool is very clean and well kept. The grounds of the condo complex are beautifully landscaped. The condo is well maintained and fully furnished. It’s an extremely short walk to a small shopping/ restaurant area. The only negatives we experienced are that you can hear through the shared bedroom wall and the master bathroom plumbing is loud. Check ahead of time with the owner for the WiFi access. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

Beautiful views, very convenient location, nice well-appointed condo.

We had a great time! Gorgeous views with the lawns and the beach right outside. Nice and clean condo with all the usual amenities (just note the washer-dryer is next door, coin laundry). Being on the ground floor, it was so easy to just walk out and the beach is right there. And driving up north or down south is quite convenient as well, given the central location of this property. They have construction (repainting, removal of old wood etc.) going on in this property from August 2017 till November 2018. We were not aware of this. During our stay, the building to our left was having work done every weekday, and the noise got a bit too much on many occasions, breaking the tranquil scene unfortunately. The owner tried to help find a different place for us, but of course nothing practical was available at such last minute. We stayed on and he later did a partial refund for our troubles, which was nice. Overall, this is a lovely condo and we'd love to come back (especially once the construction is over).

The pictures do not do it justice. We had the perfect relaxing vacation with everything we needed. It was so lovely to watch the ocean waves from the patio and the beach was right there with very few people. The condo is very comfortable with beautiful flooring and new cabinets. Alan Harris is also very kind and wants his guests to be happy.

Great location, modern kitchen, clean and bright

We loved our stay at lae nani!! The condo has a beautiful kitchen, a great view of the ocean, and a comfortable king sized bed. The location in Kapaa is ideal as a starting point to venture either down south to Poipu/ Polihale/ Waimea, or up north to Princeville/Hanalei/Napali Coast. There is a safe, laundry facilities on site, barbecues available for use and a beautiful pool. We would definitely come back!

This is a great resort to vacation at and unit 413 is the place to do it in

Just finished a 16 day stay at the jewel of the coconut coast this unit is clean and mostly all updated with a kitchen that is well stocked with appliances and utensils I know because we cooked most of our meals, there are towels galore for both bath and beach and although this is just a one bedroom the high ceilings make it seem very spacious,The resort is gated which made us feel secure and at ease, the pool area is located right down by the water and the main BBQ area right beside it note there is a stand alone BBQ at the west end of the building 4 if you don’t feel like walking down to the pool . The view from the lani was fantastic and it’s relaxing to sit out there with a coffee or a cocktail even if it’s a bit cloudy . The owner was easy to contact both prior to and during our stay and handled all of our concerns quickly. The town is close by with lots of shops and places to eat and very central you can get anywhere from here in a very short time but pick your spots rush hour here is like rush hour anywhere, overall I would have to say that this is the place we will stay at the next time we vacation on kauai . Great location

This was a great unit. Disregard any previous reviews about the location not being clean or updated. While there is one spot in the bathroom where the wallpaper is discolored it is behind the toilet in the guest bathroom and has zero impact. Great locations and in walking distance to great bars, easy access to a convenience store, close to many activities, and great beach access.

Beautiful Location!

I stayed at this condo in November 2014 and had a wonderful time there. The owner is great and he even let me know about a massage therapist that he knew which I scheduled an appointment with. I was celebrating my birthday in Kauai and having the massage at the condo was amazing present to myself. She was great! The location of the Outrigger Lae Nani is perfect since it’s half way between the North Shore and Poipu. There are grocery stores and restaurants close by. I wanted a condo so I could cook some of my meals there and I made breakfast every morning and sat on the Lanai eating my breakfast looking at the beautiful ocean. In the evenings I also really enjoyed sitting on the Lanai and listening to the ocean and smelling the wonderful flowering tree next to the condo. It was so relaxing, and really glad I chose this condo to stay at. The beach at the condo is great and really don’t have to go to any other beaches since you are right there. I also got up at sunrise every morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the ocean. It was my first time to Kauai, even though I have been to Maui twice. I really loved Kauai and definitely will be going back. It was also my first time using VRBO and I had no problems with the condo and the owner was great. Looking forward to when I can go back!

As a photographer I have lived in NY and LA and travelled all over and no place is finer than Kauai. Although I moved to Marin County from Kauai 7 years ago, I loved that tropical country living. My #2 son was born there! I visit my island home often.

We have countless memories of special times spent there and I got married in the heiau along the beach and the lived in Princeville for 7 years. There are many fine memories of great surfing days. My sons enjoy their time there and feel at home- 3 generations now!
