Beautiful villa

We stayed at the villa the night we flew in and again the night before we flew out. It was very nice, perfect for our large group, spacious, and clean. In a very nice neighborhood. Nery, the property manager, was so kind and attentive.

We stayed here for one night before continuing our trip to La Fortuna, and it was absolutely perfect for our group of friends! The house was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and spacious. The pool was a great bonus and made for a relaxing start to our trip. Everything was well maintained, and check-in was seamless. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great place to stay in San Jose! Plenty of room for everyone and they locked the gate at night. We felt very safe.

Gorgeous villa

Everything about this house and property was amazing. The kids adored the pool and the adults enjoyed the jacuzzi in the cooler evenings. The villa is gorgeous, clean, and well-maintained. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay again!

San Jose Rental

It's a very nice and large space. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and nicely located. There is a convenient retail area that has a supermarket, several restaurants and cafes. I'd recommend this place if you have a larger group and want to be located near San Jose.

Lily was easy to work with and the property was beautiful and well maintained. 10 minutes from SJO airport with grocery store close by. Pool was great to relax in and enjoy.

Beautiful house/ relaxing vacation

We had a great stay at the house. The Caribbean is a lovely and laid back. The house was very clean and the pool perfect for the kids (and grandparents). The grounds are meticulously kept and Erinn was so welcoming and very helpful. We also saw lots of wildlife (sloths, lots of birds, agoutis), as it is right next to Manzanillo preserve and a short walk to the beach. Just a great time and very relaxing.

Great house!

We had a group of 9, 3 generations traveling and stayed a few days at Lily’s. The house was absolutely fabulous, lots of space, clean, and secure. The pool was nice for the kids and Lily’s husband prepared a traditional Costa Rican breakfast for us on our first morning, it was delicious. There’s no air conditioning in the kitchen and dining room but the air flow was great and it didn’t get too hot, the bedrooms stayed nice and cool!

Nice house, great location

The house is a solid choice for a large group. It is a lovely neighborhood and convenient to places of interest. The owner was away due to a family emergency, so the house was not as clean as one might expect. Some minor maintenance issues need addressing. We assume that these concerns will be addressed. The house is lovely.

Wonderful home for family and friends

Lily has done a terrific job of maintaining her home, Casa Primo, in San Jose. We spent several days here and the accommodations were really good. The home is situated close to shops, the grocery store, and in a quiet charming neighborhood. Lily is on hand if you need any special requests or advice on places to go and she is good about ensuring her guests are comfortable. She speaks good English so communications are pretty seamless and she is very detailed oriented in her communications with you. Lily lives on property (to one side) but is not intrusive at all. She is a phone call away if you need her :-)! Really a great place as you explore this beautiful country and friendly people. Our entire family (native Costa Ricans included) were very impressed with this beautiful home and lovely hostess.

Perfect for our group of 10

We had 10 people share the Casa Primo house for a friend and family trip to Costa Rica for a week. The space was perfect. We only used 5 bed rooms, but had 7 available. All the rooms were spacious and had private bathrooms. The kitchen was large enough for our large groups to eat and the patio and pool area was great for the group to hangout and spend time. The night we arrived we had Lily, the owner and our excellent host, prepare us a traditional Costa Rican meal and it was excellent- we would highly recommend it. She even threw in a bottle of wine as an anniversary present. The maid came daily for towels and bedding and the house was clean and beautiful. There was a driver available to transport our whole group to events and the airport, which was very helpful. We also were able to Uber to the city easily. There is a market and shopping center with restaurants in walking distance from the house. Lily went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. She was easy to contact prior to the trip and answered each and every question. While in Costa Rica, she was available to assist with whatever was needed. Overall we would highly recommend and would absolutely stay at Casa Primo again if we travel back to Costa Rica.

The home was exactly as shown in the picture. The host was extremely helpful in helping us secure a tour guide to take us around town, and he was wonderful. We will be back. My only thing is that the hot tub needs to be hotter

Dream Vacation

The property was beautiful, it felt like something out of a movie. Lily was easy to contact as was the groundskeeper Nery who was friendly and available at a moments notice. I would stay here again and I recommend to anyone looking for clean and upscale accommodations. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day! 10/10 we left very happy.

Family vacation

We stayed in the villa for a week for a family vacation with our kids and grandkids. The place is beautiful- very elegant and spacious. Multiple places to gather and chat or play. Rooms are comfortable and big. The pool and hot tub were a great hit. The caretaker is next door- easily accessible and duper helpful. The location is great for exploring the Central Valley. We loved the place.

We loved this property, and can't wait to plan our next trip to Costa Rica

This property was perfect for our family. We had 9 adults and 3 kids under 3; we had more than enough room. The place is beautiful; we especially loved the pool and eating outside in the covered patio area as much as possible. Lily, the host, was fantastic and incredibly gracious with her help and recommendations. We had the best vacation and highly recommend this place to anyone!

Casa Primo

My family and friends had a great stay at Casa Primo. It was easy to communicate with Lily in English and Spanish. She was responsive about my family’s needs throughout our stay and Ronaldo, who provides transportation as needed for guests staying at the property, is excellent for accomodating any transportation needs. The property is gated and in an upper middle class residential area that is safe. It great to use as home base when taking tours near or outside of the San Jose area. The home is spacious and accomodated our group of 5, comfortably despite not using the spacious bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The only feedback would be that the jacuzzi does not warm up enough to go beyond lukewarm and it takes about 3-4 hrs to warm up. Other than that, this property was pefect for our stay. Will definitely be back to stay here in the future.

Perfect Spot for a big group

Needed to stay a night near the airport and this house was perfect. 9 of us were very comfortable. 15 minutes from the airport and very nice area. The host Lily was very helpful and nice.
