The remodel is great with updated floors, counters, and other items. The location is amazing with excellent and easy access to the beach. The beach is great, because it's mostly a locals and VRBO accessible beach with no other public parking lots to make it crowded. If you're looking for a great, secluded, and private getaway, this is a great property!

We were a bit skeptical about the cleanliness but were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. Kaila, the host, was very responsive, as we had a good amount of questions before our stay. If I had a negative about the house I’d say the openness of the loft room upstairs. A family member slept up in that room and unfortunately was woken each morning as he could hear us downstairs. Everyone enjoyed the pool table. The short, private path to the beach was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed—plenty of dishes! I would definitely recommend renting this house.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The house was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for bringing two families together. The beds were especially comfortable, making it easy to relax after long days exploring the Oregon coast.The location was fantastic — just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the coastline whenever we wanted. In the evenings, when we weren't out enjoying the beach, the entertainment options at the house were a huge hit. The chess set, pool table, and foosball table provided hours of fun for both kids and adults alike.One of the things we appreciated most was being able to bring our dog along and enjoy the trip as a complete family. Between the beautiful coastal scenery, the comfortable accommodations, and the thoughtful amenities, this was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for.Thank you for helping create such a memorable Oregon coast vacation for our families!

The location to the beach was great and the kitchen update was nice but I would not book this place again with small children. The upstairs bedrooms are open to the main floor below so noise traveled easily upstairs making it hard to lay the little ones down early. The deck needs to be updated as many boards were not safe at all or attached to anything. Also, overall the house was just not clean - dead Rollie Ollie bugs, dust and hair throughout. It’s as if the house isn’t vacuumed in between guest stays. We were disappointed with this property.

This is a nice property with plenty of sleeping accommodations for a family. It is also just a few steps from a lovely beach that is great for spending hours on exploring. I will say that I don't see that the property had any enhanced cleaning measures as outlined in the listing. The floors in the basement where we entered were covered in dead bugs and rodent droppings. The floors in the bedrooms were covered in pet hair with loose pet food on the floor under the console table in the primary bedroom. Luckily the hosts do have a closet with brooms/mops etc. so we were able to clean up the bedroom floors. I will say we did not reach out to the host about these cleaning issues because we were able to mitigate ourselves with cleaning tools provided. We did have an additional issue that arose during our stay that we reached out about and it took quite a while (after we had checked out) for the host to respond.Overall it is a nice and well situated home that could benefit from a bit more attention to cleaning.

Very spacious for our family of five. The house was beautifully remodeled for an older home. There was lots of entertainment for all ages with the pool table, foosball table, chess/checkers table and just a short walk out the back door to the beach. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable. And the kitchen was well stocked and comfortable to use and cook in. One of my many favorite things in this house was the big bathtub and steam shower in the master bedroom. Also, the balcony from the top floor’s main bedroom was a great place to sit and view the ocean or listen to the ocean while I read my book. Overall this is a great vacation home to comfortably fit a large family or a couple families in. Especially with the beach right out the back door. And the host was very easy to communicate with if we had any questions or problems.Just a short drive to many activities, attractions and parks.

Wonderful home for a family trip! Very clean and stocked well. Location was amazing. Suited all of our needs. We stayed with our three adult children and grandkids. Many good memories made. My only comment is that we were surprised the upstairs was open to the downstairs. That should be made clear in the description. But, I would rent again and would highly recommend.

To summarize.Our stay I would have to say disappointedDue to the fact that I was traveling with service dogs as I am disabled and had no idea that this place was , not dog friendly at all. There were pictures of a backyard that appeared to have a fenceAnd when we got there, it was lying on the ground.. The decks stairs, leading to the path to the beach, had screws sticking out yards covered in thorns. My poor dogs couldn't even walk around. So as far as it being dog friendly, that is not the case. Not only that, but the stairs was not good for my overall enjoyment. It needs to be more accurate as far as where the beds are located. I struggled putting our party in the sleeping areasAnd I did not feel that it was family friendly due to the fact that there were no televisions in any of the bedrooms. It was extremely hard to go up The major incline in the driveway. And up to the third level, and if you wanted the ocean view, it's on the third level. Any laundry that the people do on the third level has to be taken down to the first level. And then backed up to your third levelSeem to me like a whole lot of stairs too much work. And my dogs were not comfortable at all. The garbage disposal didn't work. And when we got there we had to deal with everybody else's garbage the cans were full and there was a note that said not to move themThey were directly under the balcony of the living room.So if you opened your door for fresh air , we had to smell a God awful. Smell.,

This is a beautiful home which is well equipped to host a large family. The kitchen is really well stocked with kitchenware for whatever you choose to cook. A walk out the back brings you right to the beach. We loved our stay!

Perfect in every way!

Very-very nice place on the beach, and the location was perfect. Private beach access was also a plus. Added bonus for our stay; the town of Waldport's professional fireworks show over the bay was most awesome, and you could see it right from the beach house balcony overlooking the bay.

Our stay at this beach house was absolutely fantastic! The location was perfect, the amenities were wonderful, and we really enjoyed the beach access. We truly had a memorable vacation. The only small suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the cleaning; while generally tidy, a bit more attention to detail in that area would make it even more perfect.

Thank you for considering our beach house for your stay! We are a young family and invested in this property so that others could enjoy the adventure, beauty and serenity of the Oregon Coast in Waldport. We have fallen in love with this town. The beaches are quiet, not littered with crowds of people, and the small coastal pleasures have become a mainstay for us. We are originally from Eugene, OR and knew that this property would be perfect for our family to share with others. We are not a corporate chain that owns a ton of properties. This is our one and only home that we rent out to groups of people. Most of the renovations have been completed on our own time and energy. We have tried our best to make this house fit the needs of any group of people that come through. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do when we stay here!
