All's Well that Ends Well...
Overall, we had a very nice stay on the property. We struggled with checking in; we never received our check in information within 72 hours of our arrival - we tried to contact the owners by emailing them and calling them - but the phone number listed for the owners on the VRBO site was disconnected. We called VRBO and they could not help us. I was on the phone for over two hours trying to work out a solution; we were told we needed to find our own hotel room for the night that we would "possibly" be reimbursed for (disappointing news, for sure.) Finally, because VRBO was not able to solve the problem for us we did our own search for the owner of the property online - and by the grace of God, located a number for Denis. While I was still on the phone with VRBO, my husband called the number we found for Denis directly. Denis was kind and gave us the condo number and the code for the key pad. In the end, the owners were made aware that the number they had listed on the VRBO site needed to be updated. All ended well. Following our stay, the property manager of the space gave us a $50 Amazon Gift Card for our trouble. Once into the condo, we had a great week. We enjoyed our time. (The heated pool was a nice bonus as well.)
