Das Peaceful River Hideaway liegt am Elk River und ist ganzjährig geöffnet. Dieses 3 Schlafzimmer 1 Bad Haus hat über 160 Meter ebene Flussfront. Wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Fluss vom großen Raum und zwei der Schlafzimmer. Das Kingsize-Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer ist eine Select Comfort Sleep Number-Matratze. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett und das dritte Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett. Es gibt ein Kanu- und Paddelboot für Ihr Vergnügen. Ein friedlicher Rückzugsort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Es gibt einen 50-Zoll-Fernseher mit Videorecorder und DVD-Player im großen Raum. Es gibt einen großen Gasgrill für Ihren Gebrauch. Dies ist ein rauchfreies und tierfreies Zuhause.

Loved this place

This place was excellent! The views were perfect it was well stocked and clean. The property was everything we wanted for a weekend on the river. I would highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful and fun experience. I would definitely be coming back.

Peaceful and fun

Peaceful and felt secluded even though nice and helpful neighbors. Birds, fish, fire pit, exploring the river in canoes, views of the river and sunset were our favorite highlights. Wonderful host!

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed Trudy’s house so much! We took advantage of the canoe and did some paddling and fishing. We needed a few days to relax, and this was the perfect place. Thanks for sharing your cabin.

Perfect river getaway

We were two couples looking for a place on the river for a relaxing retreat, and we found it. Absolutely perfect getaway. We canoed during the day and watched the sunset on the deck in the evening. Our host was very gracious and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great , quiet location with views.

Everything was great except for the spider webs outside. Great view of the river. Quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed watching the squirrels play. Also had visits by deer and crane. Great fishing also.

Elk River oasis

Stargazing & More

Wonderful views, lots of deer and birds. House was cute, too! Picked this location after viewing several others for stargazing with telescope. Host was exceptionally accommodating and even called to make sure it was perfect. Will be staying again and highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all (even if it's just light pollution)!

Coming from up north in January to Sweet Home to fish

Once again my stay here was absolutely a great experience it was so so peaceful just like before no busy traffic , loud noise , or loud neighbors at the motel like my buddies were experiencing in town but yet this little slice of heaven in not to far out where you can go get what you need . We can’t say enough about this place!! The pictures don’t do justice. It was very clean, inviting. The property was nice. Good fishing, lots of wild life to watch and the back porch over looking the water was nice to relax after fishing. We loved the 2 sliding doors that open. Loved listen to the pouring rain in the dark. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this beautiful place. We been to a bunch of places and we think this one has been the best!!!

Just what you need

Nice quiet little spot on the water. There are other houses around, so it is not secluded or lonely, but quiet enough that fawns will frolic openly during daylight in the adjacent open space. If you're up early, you can watch herons patrol the shoreline from the hammock just a few feet away. We had a kayak on the water just about every morning and evening. It was just what we needed.

Clean and peaceful

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless and so cozy! The majority of us spend a lot of time on the water but for the older folks they could watch from the back porch, or even in the air conditioned house with the wall of windows, and still feel part of what was going on. The house had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The pictures could not do justice to how peaceful the setting is. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feed and a mama bird feed her babies in the bird house at the corner of the porch. We definitely would love to stay here again! It was perfect for us!

River Wildlife Migration

Perfectly quiet getaway property on the Elk River. The cozy former fishing cottage has been beautifully converted to a beautiful 2+ bedroom, modern bathroom, beauty. Well worth the ride off the beaten path to your natural hideaway. We happened to catch the migration of American White Pelicans stopping over on their trip south, and have never seen a sight like the 5000+ birds cruising a couple feet above the river with the only sound being the wind passing over their wings - it was a morning none of us will ever forget!!!!!!! The deer, the canoes, and the water made this an unforgettable weekend trip!

Great place! Great amenities! Great owner!

I traveled up to Alabama for 8 days and the first places I stayed were horrible. I attempted to stay in some cabins and they had bed bugs and insect infestations. I was in desperate need for a new place and found this amazing cabin on the water. I messaged the owner at 11pm while sleeping in my truck. She quickly prepared the cabin and had it ready for me within a few hours. The host was amazing and the cabin was just as great!! Felt like home and I was easily able to sleep at night. The kitchen was great too and had everything I needed to cook. I’ll always be eternally grateful for the hospitality the host showed helping me out. Highly recommended!

Southern R & R Perfection !

Oh my, this is a little piece of paradise that is comfortable, homey, so clean and provides lots of extras and personal touches. The beds and bedding are luxurious and there is an abundance of guest towels for a family of swimmers and water babies ! The variety of songbirds, the aroma of the pines, the hummingbirds flitting about, the smell of the magnolias and the amazing view of the sunsets are sure to lighten your heart. They even provided a fire pit along the riverbank at night, and get this.......a nice breeze and no mosquitos !! Us Ohioans were thrilled ! Then there's all the "toys" We loved the canoe and paddleboat especially, and did plenty of fishing.. This isn't just a rental....it feels as though you are visiting family. We wanted for nothing. If i could, i would give them 10 stars !
