Fantastic cottage with a beautiful deck that also has the ability for easy wheelchair access! Host was absolutely fantastic, providing a few extra tips on the location or usage of things like the fireplace and hot tub. Allowing our family is essential too, for the best family time. We thoroughly enjoyed reading, water coloring at the huge 10-seat table, and trying the many restaurants in the area. Nice open plan and lots of beds so this makes a wonderful larger family place! Would rent this one again absolutely!

Great location right next to the beach and Buddy's restaurant. The paddle pontoon is a lot of fun and the hot tub is clean and well maintained. Interior is a little dated but it's got everything you need for a great lake house vacation!

Great property. We were there just for a weekend bike race in Hastings, but believe it would also be a fantastic summer getaway at the lake. House was clean and well furnished. Owners provided lots of little touches, showing their passion for their property and their guests. Would recommend.

Our stay was fantastic. The deck/dock had plenty of room for all our activities. So many things to do at the house. The kids loved the paddle boards and peddle boat. The house had everything we needed and then some for the week. There was a welcome basket with materials for s’mores and a binder filled with all the local information on the table upon arrival. There was great communication with the owner during our stay. We had so much fun fishing, lounging in the water, having fires in the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. Most of our drive home was spent talking about our favorite memories and that we would have to visit again!!

Great lakefront cottage

We had an excellent stay here- the description and photos are accurate and the overall process went really smoothly. I wish it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the water more, but we will definitely consider staying here again during the summer!

Relaxing Getaway

Relaxing week

House was perfect size for our family. The lake was great. We were lucky and had nice weather almost the whole week. The home was very comfortable and provided all the amenities needed.

Our summer visit was so nice we came back for Christmas with family! Everyone enjoyed the location, the hot tub, and the cottage. It is hard to find a house that accomodates a group in all rooms. The dining area seated all of us as did the spacious living area.The best surprise...all the water fowl on the lake! So beautiful!

Best getaway cottage

We had a wonderful time with all of our Family enjoying the beauty of Lake Jordan at the cottage. Everything was perfect. The cottage was clean, stocked with everything we needed and was a the perfect getaway for our Family. The location makes it fun and kid friendly. We are excited to come back to Lake Odessa and make more memories!

Sweet cottage

As soon as you walk into this sweet cottage and see the lake view and spacious deck, you start to relax and know that you will have a great time on Jordan Lake. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and paddle boat. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for a sleepover with cousins. We will definitely be back when in the area visiting family!

Relax with Family

We were surprised with how nice the property was. The deck is the perfect place to relax and catch up with family. The hot tub is an added bonus. Everything we needed was just a short walk away (Parks, Bakery, Restaurant). The host is responsive and provided several unexpected perks. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Weekend getaway

Overall, very enjoyable. Lots of amenities and things to do. Only criticism was yard was fairly overgrown, lots of cobwebs on dock. Neighbors were very close. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and sitting on the deck.

Hi Candy! We are glad to hear that you were able to enjoy yourselves so much despite the terrible weather! That unexpected stretch of cold and rain would sour nearly anyone. The Beach Cottage is in a fantastic location, being right in the heart of town, so close to everything. There are close neighbors (really awesome ones). Prior to each stay, we remove spiderwebs by hand, but more are spun of course! The lawn is mowed often, and the foliage around the edges is regularly trimmed. But, yes, true to cottage style, the borders and beds are more free form and not pristinely manicured. We will continue to work hard to improve the Beach Cottage experience in preparation for your next stay; see you then!

Beautiful Cottage on thr lake

Wonderful cottage. Stocked full with things you always need and usually forget. Stunning views of the lake while you soak in a hot tub. We had a fantastic time. Just the relaxation we needed. We will be back. Thank you again for making our Stay so enjoyable.
