We were pleasantly surprised the accommodation had been freshly updated since the original post we saw when we made our booking a few months ago. The space was super comfortable and cozy. We especially appreciated the nice beach chairs, towels and boogie board (put to great use at nearby Brennecke Beach)!

Our room was most adequate. We loved the greenway trail that allowed us to walk to the beach. This was such a lovely neighborhood and very safe. We enjoyed our stay and exploring the area on the island of Kauai.

The location of this property can't be beat, adjacent to a paved path that goes to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. The place is small but has everything one needs at a terrific price. David is very personable and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at this VRBO in kauai. I was attending a conference near by which was walking distance along a manicured path. The room had everything we needed.

Fantastic location

If what you need is a place to rest your head and take a shower, this is it. The location to Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt couldn't be better. It was clean, the beds were comfortable (2 twins), and the water pressure outstanding. There is a mini fridge, a microwave, and a small toaster oven so it is possible to have some convenience foods on hand but any kind of cooking involving food preparation isn't possible. We would stay again even though space was tight and we couldn't sleep together.

I'm fine with small places..this is much smaller than a hotel room. Many things need to be replaced because rusted. Ceiling fan desperately needs to be cleaned. Sheets should be tossed..saw one hole and stain. This room needs some love. David was nice.

Mr. David was an amazing host. He was very attentive and diligent to our requests. Our room was great for us (2 adults and 1 4.5 yrs old). The neighborhood was safe and walking distance to Grand Hyatt and Poipu beach. As much as we love the room, we were out all 5 days and come home passed out. We enjoyed every parts of the island and having to come home in a room just to decompress for the day was very comfortable. Mr. David was pleased we were pretty much out than staying in because the island is a beauty itself to enjoy and not to enjoy in a 4 walls. Thank You Mr. David we look forward staying with you again.

Accommodation conditions were absolutely unsatisfactory, impossible for two people. No storage space for clothes, just a couple of hangers on the door.Ants were crawling everywhere. Separate bathroom and toilet unsatisfactory separated only by sliding doors very unhygienic. Cleaning very poor dust everywhere.

In dieser Unterkunft habe ich 10 Tage als Single verbracht. Ich bin Abends um ca. 22:00 Uhr angekommen und es war überhaupt kein Problem, das Zimmer zu beziehen. Nachdem mir die Ankunftszeit zuvor bekannt war und dies dem Besitzer mitgeteilt habe, wurde mir umgehend mitgeteilt, dass der Zugang zu meinem Zimmer gewährt ist (Selbst-Check-In) und so war es dann auch. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine und einem Deckenventilator ausgestattet, der in der Nacht für Kühlung gesorgt hat. Am nächsten Tag konnte ich den Besitzer begrüßen, der sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war. In unmittelbarer Nähe gab es eine Bushaltestelle und der Bus fuhr stündlich für 25 Cent nach Koloa Town. Dort gab es dann direkt an der Haltestelle ein Postamt und einen Supermarkt. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen und sicheren Umgebung und ich würde hier jederzeit wieder ein Zimmer mieten. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Danke David!!!

The room itself was just fine and pretty much exactly what we needed for the 5 days we were on island. A place to crash and shower was basically all we were looking for. While the room was well kept and clean, it was a bit deceiving and slightly hard to find when we found out it was simply somebodies house and essentially just a spare bedroom that had been made into a rental unit and given a name like it was a condo unit or something. I will say, it was clean and had the basic amenities that we required for our stay. I very much appreciated the up to date, large shower and the small, but workable bathroom, was put together nicely. My buddy and I had no issues and it was what we expected for the most part. If you are looking for a bit of luxury and space, this is not the rental for you however. If you are looking to stash your belongings and spend your time at the beach or sightseeing then I would absolutely recommend.

This was an excellent value for the money. It was small but clean and was just minutes from the beach. An added bonus was tge greenway walkingctrails through the property. It also had beach chairs, towels and even a boogie board for us to use. We had a wonderful stay.

Excellent place in an ideal location

My husband and I stayed for two nights when we wanted to head south to hike the canyons. Torview is in a perfect location, with a two minute drive to Poipu Beach - literally. We appreciated the beach chairs and boogie board they provided. The place itself is small, but well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. It is the perfect landing place when you are planning on spending your days outside.The hosts are communicative, but faster by phone/text then by the app (which they indicated in their instructions, but we were operating on autopilot). We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

I stayed 4 nights in Torview and it was great. A cozy little spot in a neat location. The bed mattress was extremely comfortable and I was able to get the rest I needed to explore the Island. The shower was another excellent experience, as the water pressure was strong, and the shower head was amazing. It had everything a traveller needs tucked into the unit. I really enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board provided. It made trips to the beach hassle free. The pathway and access to Shipwreck Beach was beautiful. The only down side was it smelled like bug spray the first night I arrived. Yet, when I aired it out, it was fine (plus, there were no bugs!). Thanks for the great place to stay. I hope I can stay here again in the future. LM

オーナーの住む平屋一戸建の一部屋を宿泊施設としていて、入口が玄関では無く掃出し窓だった事は驚きだった。その為何処から入るのかわからず、入室に手間取った。 部屋内部はコンパクトながらひと通り必要な設備は整っており、とても快適だった。 オーナーも良い人だった。
