We loved everything about this unit. The views are perfect. Ocean & Blackrock amazing... the mountain views as well were perfect, we got mountain rainbow views everyday :) Just the perfect Hawaii vacation spot. We can't wait to go back!

Best view of black rock! Lots of coffee provided, great ice maker, soap for laundry. Great location next to restaurants, shops and bars.

Everything was great. Host was promptly responsive when we wanted to shift our reservation dates. When we had a small problem with the shower they got maintenance to our room right away. Staff are all courteous and friendly.

Perfectly advertised

The property was perfectly located with all that Kaanapali has to offer right next door. The unit was clean, beautifully furnished and had a beachfront view with a large patio . We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. The pool is warm with plenty of lounge chairs. The jacuzzi is kept hot with lots of forceful jets! The men that work in the beach/pool hut were so helpful and nice! We thanked them with a nice tip after our week. They warned us of high surf one day and advised we not go out. We appreciated this

perfectly gorgeous condo

While the pull out bed is not the greatest, the room was perfect. We needed one extra blanket, and the property management team was so very very helpful. We needed a battery for the clock and the maintenance man was "on it". I would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to anyone. It was a very very positive experience. Needless to say, the view and location couldn't be beat.

Great location and view but lacked some basica

Whaler is a great property and everything is within walking distance. Unit 956 has an awesome view, is newly remodeled and in great condition. However, it lacked some basic cookware (we had to borrow from another unit), has no screen doors on the patio like almost every other unit (so we had to deal with birds int he unit and a few flying bugs) and the sheets had strong soap smell so we had to do laundry before we could sleep. Also no beach gear (just a nice to have).

We have been coming to the Whaler for over 30 years....

We have most always booked via the Ashton direct. We love the unit we had and would come back to it. Suggestion - Have a waste can in the bathroom. :)
