Enjoyable family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family of 8 enjoyed our stay without any major difficulties. On the positive side: 1) quiet beachfront location away from crowds and commotion, 2) vintage one-story on ground level was perfect for those of us who have difficulty with stairs. You simply walk out onto the patio and beach, and hauling luggage or groceries was easy. 3) roomy enough for 8 of us, 4) the private pool was wonderful, especially for the youngsters, 5) beds were comfortable, 6) a small poolside pavillion provided a shady refuge from the sun., 7) it was clean. Some things will need improvement, but were not deal breakers. The appliances have seen better days but were useable. Beach towel supply was ok, but we could’ve used more bath towels and, especially washcloths.

Amazing

This property was everything. My family and I felt like we were home. This will become our yearly summer vacation. The ease and seamless effort to go from beach to home to pool was amazing. Away from the bustle of the downtown areas, but close enough to enjoy. Our property manager, Mona was great. I feel like I've known her for years!! Cannot WAIT to go back!!

Week on Clearwater beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th time staying with Beachtime Rentals and as always the staff/property manager was great. So helpful and prompt with responses to any questions we had. The location was beautiful with a nice path down to the beach. The house had two extra refrigerators in the garage which was great for a group of 8 needing extra cold space. The only complaint I would list is the kitchen sink faucet was broken (still kind of functional but would spin all the way around so knowing where hot vs cold was a challenge). Only other recommendation I would give is to provide more bath towels. We ended up washing towels almost every day even with a couple days of use per towel. Overall a great house, great location, and great management!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandcastle Villa was a wonderful place to relax after doing the Disney/Universal carziness for several days. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 4 children..5 to 7 years old. Location was spot on...close enough to busy Clearwater downtown for activities and supplies, but far enough for the beach itself to be much less crowded. The pathway from the house to the beach was short for schlepping beach gear.The rental has the charm of an "Old Florida" beachhouse, but with modern updates. It hit a nice balance between clean but not too fancy for beach time. Inside spaces were more roomy than the promo promos indicated.The pool and patio area is also very well conceived. We spent almost all non-beach time in this space. Would we rent Sandcastle Villa again in the future? In a heartbeat!

Gem of a beach house right on the beach!

One of a few single family houses right on the beach. Great location to town. Beautiful inside and out. Pool was perfect for adults and a 4 and 6 year old. Great covered area near the opposite for sunrise and sunset sitting. Could not have been more perfect for 2 sets of grand parents and the family. Kids loved the bunk room. Beachtime rentals was great. They took care of everything. All we did was take the trash out and start the dishes When we departed.

The location on Clearwater Beach is so private yet steps away from Pier 60 and all types of activities . The house itself was absolutely perfect for a beach getaway. The layout of this house and decor is so tasteful that even inside you know you are on vacation. We arrived late at night and Mona made sure that the light was on for us. Mona was an absolute dream to deal with from start to finish and made all aspects of our trip so easy and relaxing. We definitely hope to be back as this may have been our best vacation yet!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed at Sandcastle Villa, and we had an amazing time. We would absolutely stay again. However there were some issues, and while I have no intention of leaving a bad review, there were some things I would want to know if I were staying there. Especially considering the thousands of dollars paid to stay there. Pros Pool and outdoor area was outstanding House was clean and even ready for us an hour early Areas for improvement The gas grill was completely out of propane, causing us to spend $25 to replace it. Even though the check out instructions ask you to start laundry, which I don’t have a problem with, laundry detergent was not provided so you have to use your own. I expect to bring my own, but being provided at least one pod for not my laundry would be appreciated. We did leave some for the next guest. The dishwasher was broken during our entire stay, and while the response was quick, nothing was repaired and we had to hand wash dishes all week. Wifi was adequate but for a house full of people, we would have liked more than 2G, as some family members had to do a little work while on vacation.

The house is truly fantastic - this is our second time and we’re already planning next years visit. Spectacular light, beautifully decorated, perfectly sized, unforgettable sunsets. And Mona is an absolute dream as far as arrangements and communications, we know she’s always only a call away and we so appreciate her always checking up on us! We can’t imagine enjoying summer unless we start it at Clearwater’s Sandcastle Villa.

Wonderful home, beach and location

We had several friends and family visit over the month stay. The house was very comfortable for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the pool and loved walking the beach. The public beach was very crowded for spring break and it was great getting back to our little quiet spot. Bridge traffic was horrible and we tried to stay out on the beach as much as possible. Having a Publix on the beach side of the bridge was a life saver.
