I'm glad you had an awesome time! The cottage is over 90% fully renovated. Only the back room needs to be completed with the original flooring still to be replaced and the one, outer wall finished. But even that room is 90% complete. We update pictures frequently and as we complete reno's in order to show full transparency. The one room that is not fully completed is shown in our pictures, as is so there are no surprises.

Communication is everything! A simple text or phone call about our neighbor and we could have resolved the issue with one phone call to her and/or Wasaga Beach bylaw. She'd be thrilled to hear you said she was 60. She's closer 80 and although she is quite the miserable old lady, she is harmless. As for the hot tub, we have had no issues, whatsoever, before or after your stay. We were there ourselves this weekend and It was 103° when we arrived. We expected to have to drain it and refill it but were pleasantly surprised that we didn't. We spent every evening, all evening, in the hot tub! Here again, a quick text or a phone call, and we would have had the issue resolved for you. (Although I really don't understand the issue you had as it was nice and hot and surprisingly very clean when we got there. --and we usually feel more comfortable draining and refilling the hot tub after guests, friends or family have used our cottage. ) Since we have an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, it's a very simple and quick process to do so. As for the beds, I'm not sure what you're used to sleeping on but two of the four queen size beds have a pillow toppers and the third one has a memory foam topper. Many guests have raved about the good sleep they had between the comfortable beds and the fresh air at the cottage. That said if you were stuck on the pull out couch in the living room, I can't speak to that as I've never actually slept on it... And likely won't 😊. Even the single bunk bed has a brand new mattress on it! The loft bed has an older mattress on it but ironically, it remains one of the favorite sleeping spots at the cottage for family and guests alike. I'm sorry you and your partner were disappointed. With the exception of the beds though, the music and the hot tub were both simple fixes that could have been easily resolved had you simply let us know. In future, I encourage you to utilize the text and telephone numbers provided to you in order to communicate easily with the homeowners. Stay safe.
