Unser Haus hat 6 Schlafzimmer in einem Bereich, es gibt 2 Queen-Betten, 3 voll, und in der Bibliothek finden Sie 2 extra lange Zwillinge und 2 bewegliche IKEA-Kinderbetten, perfekte Erwachsene oder für Kinder, die nahe bei Mama und Papa schlafen möchten .

Es gibt auch ein Babybett, 1 Kinderwagen mit Wickeltisch, 1 kleinen Spielstift für Kleinkinder. Im anderen Flügel des Hauses gibt es ein volles Bett und die Treppe hinunter in diesem großen Raum (ich nenne das Kaminzimmer) ist ein Queen-Schlafsofa, das sich besonders für ältere Menschen eignet, die keine Treppen steigen können.

Im Spielzimmer finden Sie auch ein Doppelschlafsofa. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über Platz zum Aufhängen von Kleidern und eine Kommode. Jedes Zimmer wird sehr komfortabel sein. Wir haben 3 Wohnzimmer, separates Esszimmer, große, voll ausgestattete Küche. Zwei Badezimmer im Obergeschoss und eine Treppe hinunter. Die Rückseite des Hauses bietet eine große Terrasse mit Liegestühlen, 2 Bank-Tischen mit Sonnenschirmen und einem 3-Brenner-Propan-BBQ sowie ein im Spielzimmer für Kinder mit Spielzeug ausgestattetes Spielzimmer.

Wir lieben besonders unser Artesian-Brunnenwasser, es ist wunderbar. Der Fahrweg ist asphaltiert und leicht übertrieben. Die Nachbarschaft alle 1 Hektar unter der Straße Ebene wir sitzen weg von der Straße, aber teilen die gleiche Fahrt Weg mit einem Nachbarn. Dieses Haus befindet sich auf 64 Hektar, es wird einen Drahtzaun auf der rechten Seite geben, wenn Sie auf die Haustür schauen, es gehört auch zu uns, wie wir Pferde haben, fühlen sich frei zu wandern. In der Mitte des Berges befindet sich ein Picknicktisch. Das Äußere hat Überwachungskameras für unseren Schutz, wenn das Haus nicht vermietet ist. Es gibt keine Kameras im Inneren.

Unsere Grundstücksgrenze ist der saisonale Bach unterhalb.

Family Wedding Getaway Retreat

The property was remote and beautiful. It was nice to get away into nature and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. There were deer we saw daily all around the property, and I captured some great pics and videos. We had we had only 8 staying overnight at the property. There was room for everyone to spread out and have their own space and privacy at night and during our personal time. It was spacious inside and out for our family to have an outdoor wedding for my daughter and her fiancé. It was a small gathering with only 15 people including photographer. We were extra careful to limit our impact on the venue because it is so pristine and natural. The ceremony was at 4pm, and the front yard was nicely shaded and cooler with trees and foliage for that time of day. We experienced extremes of temperatures we didn’t expect or pack for, so plan accordingly. There were also last minute issues with the heat and air, but the host bent over backwards to help make us as comfortable as possible with extra heaters and fans. There is internet available to stream tv and movies during downtime, but it’s not a fast connection, so there is some latency and buffering. Be prepared and patient. All in all, I highly recommend this location due to the beauty, spaciousness, and pet-friendly accommodations.

Overall pleasant rental

The house was clean and spacious with plenty of beds for our family gathering. It was also well stocked for preparing meals. However, the 60+ acres described in the listing are pretty inaccessible as they’re on a steep hillside. There were also wasps in several bedrooms (we counted at least 6) and quite a few flies for January. When I mentioned this concern, I was told they don’t like to use pesticides, which is fine unless you have family members who are allergic as we do. The owner is very responsive, but we were expected to contact her anytime we wanted the temperature adjusted as the thermostat was locked. Some of the rooms are a good deal cooler than the rest of the house so we used one of the space heaters we found in a closet which tripped a breaker. Her son came out first thing in the morning as the panel was not accessible to us, but she seemed upset we had used the heater. If you need a large home with lots of sleeping options, this is a pretty good choice, just realize the owner is very particular with binders full of rules and frequent monitoring of cameras.

Truly an amazing property. The floor layout is fantastic…add the wild life you get to observe and I could stay forever! The Host was great to work with too!! I highly recommend if you’re interested in a quiet place to relax with family.

Nice Property

The property was beautiful and spacious. We had 16 people in our party, and there was more than enough room for all of us to stretch out and spend time together. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you could need. Our party really enjoyed spending evenings on the deck. We were even treated to a visit by a deer while we were there and saw them on the road leading to the property. Our teenagers/young adults enjoyed the game room and being together in their own loft, and the property afforded us beautiful views of the night sky. The owner of the property was very responsive. While we were there, there was an unexpected cold-front with freeze advisories—and the temperature of the house was cold! The coffee maker was also uncooperative at first. We were contacted right away by the owners of the property and were assisted with our issues. The property is about 20 minutes from the nearest grocery store and is about 1.5 hours from Crater Lake. However, the grocery stores are full-sized stores (Albertsons and Fred Meyers), so we were able to get all that we needed. Overall, we had a great stay!

Perfect vacation home!

Beautiful spacious house with plenty of entertainment for all ages. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fun…corn hole, badminton & ping pong. I appreciated how organized and well labeled the kitchen was. Also, the host was kind enough to respond to my request for an outdoor table for our family gathering.

Beautiful and Spacious

This was perfect for our annual family gathering winter vacation. It was stocked with all amenities. There was a problem with the oven being broken when we arrived and the owner, Melba, went above and beyond and had it replaced immediately. We also booked in June but come December we had alterations to our guest count and it was very easy to adjust.

A Peaceful Get Away

My family lives in Idaho and we gathered here for the purpose of a family death. The home was over the top accommodating for ‘all’ my family, 11 adults and children plus 3 dogs. After the funeral service other family came to the home for dinner and more recollecting and reminiscing. We had a full house but were very comfortable. We found lots of joy watching the deer and wild turkeys saunter thru. The kids also loved the waffle bar, my son-in-law says he wants one of those waffle irons. This is definitely a beautiful, peaceful and accommodating home to stay at. We will stay here again if the need arises.

Funeral Trip

My family needed a place to stay during the funeral of my mother. I wanted peace and quiet and found exactly that at this retreat. The property is quiet and seculded and we enjoyed our time together there. The owner was gracious and the house was perfect! We will definitely stay again.

Midwest people of all ages from 20 to 81.

It was a wonderful experience for our immediate and extended family. Our hostess Melba was VERY accommodating and we felt empowered to visit many sites. We were 15 in the house and never felt crowded. Very good for family togetherness.

Beautiful with space to spread out

We had a wonderful stay at this property! There was a lot of room to spread out and various room set-ups to accommodate young children, single adults or couples. I think our favorite part was the back patio area with the picnic tables and size to sit around and chat. The ping pong table was a hit with the adults (as well as a very competitive game of scrabble) and the kids enjoyed having toys around to play with. We really enjoyed the location of the property as well. We went out most days to hike and every location we went to was right about an hour away (Crater Lake, Lava Beds and Cascade Mountains). I would recommend this to anyone who needs space to spread out and a comfortable base to come back to each evening!

Not great for stress free vacation

Lot of stress in dealing this vacation home. Home is confusing without proper bath attachments. We come for stress free vacation but checkout process is very stressful , everything you should take care even you have to place garbage bags at .2 mile distance from house . Everything is extra charged.

It was wonderful got to catch up with my immediate family and distant family & got to take our dogs.

PRIVATE RETREAT

If you want a house to spread out in, this is the house! We were three families, plus our dogs with us. The house was set up to accommodate all of us. Plenty of linens, kitchen supplies and the house even had a waffle bar set up! The beds were comfortable. There were three different sitting areas that allowed our families to have different activities going on at the same time. The property was covered in snow at the time, so the kids and dogs had a blast! There were plenty of board games, poker table and movies provided. Thank you Melba for a great stay!

Our cedar home is very well constructed, with old growth blue pine through out. Solid oak flooring and Italian tile when you enter. We have wonderful drinking water; our well is about 300 feet deep! The home has a unique geothermal heating and cooling system. The clean air and the beautiful surroundings make you feel right at home. The wildlife you will see makes you feel like you’re in a nature preserve!
