GREEN DREAM ZAGREB gives the feeling of a holiday in the country but you are in the centre of Zagreb within about ten minutes of driving.
This 4-star apartment is a lively mixture of luxury living and authentic local flair.
Eco-design furnishings and clean fresh air, lovely garden and colourful forest.
The swimming pool is for guest use only. The pool (length: 5,25 m, width: 3,20 m, depth: 1,20 m) is open for use May 20 - September 30; from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. It is not heated.
There are 2 sun loungers available.
Perfect choice for couples, friends or families.

THE SIZE OF THE ENTIRE APARTMENT is 110 square meters.
Composed of: a living room with a comfortable sofa which can be converted into a cosy double bed; a large living/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen and a great open fireplace (only for winter times); a bathroom with toilet and shower and another separate toilet.
There are two double bedrooms, one with an extra single bed, its own living space, an ensuite shower and a walk-in-robe.
So, this 2-bedroom apartment can comfortably host 6 people. It is self-contained with a separate entrance and a free parking spot.

In and around the Apartment is your private area with a little terrace (patio) and swimming pool (for guests only) but when you pass through a simple garden door you will find Green Dream garden which is an area where you can meet our family and share your stories and experiences with us.

We particularly recommend this for families with children.
The location is also ideal for people who want to visit Zagreb and areas in Slovenia and Croatia because highway access is pretty fast.

Lovely nature retreat in the city

The apartment is very spacious and well-appointed. It is obvious that the owners take great care to be "green", to practice the three "R"s -- reuse, reduce, recycle. This is a little piece of paradise just 10 minutes drive from the city centre, and since it is half-way up the hills surrounding Zagreb, the air is fresh and cooler. There were 3 of us sharing the apartment for 2 nights, and having 2 bathrooms was a definite plus! The kitchen has everything one may need, and most windows have mosquito screens for those not in favour of a/c. It was a perfect place to re-charge our batteries after a trans-Atlantic flight. Helena is a most gracious host, we were pleasantly surprised to find her home-grown tomatoes and cucumbers waiting for us as well as a bottle of mineral water. We were also happy to find no traces of cigarette smoke in the apartment, a rarity in Croatia. We hope to stay at Green Dream again when we visit Zagreb in the future. Thank you, Helena!!

Großartiges Apartment

Eine wunderbare Ferienwohnung, alles ist sehr hochwertig und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Traumhaftes Grundstück, sehr nette Besitzer. Ruhig gelegen und doch ist man mit Bus und Bahn schnell im Zentrum.

Es war der dritte Besuch im Green Dream Guesthouse und wir planen schon den nächsten Besuch. Beim Check in waren die Gastgeber sehr flexibel und entgegenkommend. Sehr Familienfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Einmalig schön, ruhig und individuell

Der Aufenthalt im Green Dream Guesthouse war wunderschön. Die Wohnung und das gesamte Anwesen sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind total freundlich und immer daran interessiert, den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm und schön wie möglich zu machen. Leider war unser Aufenthalt viiiiiiel zu kurz, wir wären noch gerne geblieben. Angelika und Michael die Eisverkäufer aus Deutschland

Wonderful!!

This place is beautiful!! The house and gardens are wonderful. Helena and Andre were so incredibly welcoming and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the layout was excellent. The shower pressure was better in the ocean room (so shower there) The kitchen had everything you need and the sitting area was good. All of the information Helena provided was great! She has everything laid out very well to get you around town. Location was good - a very short drive to the sites. Loved the tour Andre gave of the garden - it was an amazing view!,

A reality Dream

Un superbe appartement, parfaitement équipé et confortable, tout près de Zagreb et pourtant dans la nature. La campagne à la ville en quelque sorte. D'innombrables petits détails témoignent de l'attention d'Helena vis à vis de ses hôtes : un petit cadeau de bienvenue vous attend sur la table, gel douche et shampoing ne manquent pas dans les salles de bain, un recueil (en croate et en anglais) de toutes les adresses utiles et sites à visiter vous dispense de sortir votre "Routard", un adaptateur universel est même prévu pour ceux qui vivent sous d'autres normes électriques ainsi qu'un parapluie de secours pour les imprévoyants, etc ... L'accueil d'Helena est chaleureux et sincère. Vous aurez du mal à trouver mieux.

One of the best appartments we had

The appartment in the Green Dream Guest House is one of the best appartments we had in the last years. It is fully equiped with all the things you need for a pleasent stay. It provides enough space for 5 persons, espacially for children. Situated in the outskirts of Zagreb you feel more in a village than in a big city. The Green Dream Guest House gives the feeling of a holiday in the country but you are in the centre of Zagreb within some minutes.

Excellente adresse sur Zagreb

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Helena. La maison est idéalement située sur les hauteurs de Zagreb, à 10 minutes en voiture du centre. Vous disposez de deux chambres, dont une immense, investie immédiatement par nos enfants qui se sont sentis comme chez eux. Les chambres sont climatisées, ce qui a été bénéfique car il a fait très chaud durant les quelques jours où nous étions présents. Helena nous a accueillis chaleureusement, nous avait préparé toute la documentation nécessaire pour préparer notre visite sur Zagreb et aux alentours. Durant le séjour, elle a été aux petits soins avec nous, nous proposant régulièrement des légumes du jardin, tout en restant très discrète. Si nous retournant sur Zagreb, nous retournerons sans hésiter chez Helena : encore merci pour tout !

Very nice & Green place,at a quiet part of Zagreb

We had a very nice stay; the apartment being very comfortable, with plenty space for five tall Dutch people and also very authentic and characteristic. Although the structure of the apartment is an old farmhouse, the apartment is actually as good as new. The reception from Helena was very warm and friendly and the fruits and vegetables from the garden tasted great. The garden is very nice, big and green, so staying outside was a pleasure. Sitting on the slope of a mountain, it must also be a good point to walk or bike, we only had time for one brief walk, which was nice. The location is quiet, but yet not to far away from the city Centre. I spent a little over a week in the GREEN DREAM GUESTHOUSE, time flew, and I could easily have stayed there much longer! I'm sure my friends felt the same...

A Great Family-friendly appartment

This is a great choice for family stay around Zagreb. A lovely appartment, with a pleasent garden right neer the woods. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. The location is good - close to the center but yet in a green area close to nature. The kids loved the place and so did we.

FANTASTICO, ESPECTACULAR

La casa es espectacular, tal y como se ve en las fotografías. Helene es una persona muy agradable y con muchos detalles con los huespedes. Recomiendo muchísimo este alojamiento. No esta en zona centro pero si llevas coche vale la pena. Muchas gracias por todas vuestras atenciones, ha sido genial, si volvemos a Croacia repetiremos en este maravilloso lugar.

a beautiful large apartment in a family house

We stayed at Green Dream in May and June 2015, for almost three weeks. It was our base for exploring Zagreb and northwest Croatia. The apartment is on the lower ground floor of Helena and Andrew's family home. it is surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers and fruit trees. It is completely separate and self-contained, with a separate entrance, and a free parking spot. we left our car here while we explored Zagreb and drove from here on day trips out of town. it is very safe and secure. It consists of a large living area with a kitchen, two bedrooms (the bigger one with en suite shower), a large bathroom with toilet and shower, another separate toilet and a separate laundry. it's a big place, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and it's very quiet and peaceful. it is perfect for families with children - Helena and Andrew have four kids, so they understand and cater for them. our four year old really enjoyed our time here - he still mentions 'teta Helena' a lot! The apartment is not in the very centre of Zagreb but it is an easy ride into town on public transport. the bus stop is less than five minutes walk. taxi is really affordable too - we usually took bus and tram into town and taxi back to the apartment. There is a family-run grocery store and a restaurant within walking distance. Helena and Andrew provided an extensive folder with lots of information, maps, timetables, recommendations for things to see and do, places to eat at etc. they were really helpful and always available and happy to assist with our inquiries. we had a great stay here and are sure to be back again on our next visit to Zagreb.
