Our stay was very nice.

The property is in a great location - close to food, shopping and groceries. The water in the pools is very cold. Beach access is amazing and the accommodations are great. The property management company is very responsive.

Layout of unit was good. Kitchen items good except no oven mitt. Main sliding glass door doesn’t open. Master suite very good. 2nd bed and bath needs upgrades. Washer and dryer needs to be replaced. Beach service good. Responsiveness good.

Visit splash but not this condo

The condo itself left room to be desired. The kitchen table was over crowded with mix match chairs that were torn and ripped. The living room furniture did not match and was extremely stained and dirty. The master bedroom mattress was covered in large brown spots. The decor in the entire condo did not match and was very DIY style. The walls were scuffed up. The patio door was broken or stuck and was EXTREMELY HARD to open and close. For the price of the condo we were expecting something a little nicer. The pros were that the condo itself was spacious and convenient even though the elevators were VERY slow. The outside patio furniture was nice. We would visit splash again but would definitely not book this condo again. Easy walk to the beach.

Housekeeping and Maintenance needs help!

Upon arrival, this unit was dirty.. the floors and couch were sandy, the toilets hadn't been cleaned and the bed linenings were soiled, even one of the comforters. Nasty! We had to sweep floors and wash the bed linenings....we asked for clean sheets 2 times, but never got them. The sliding door to balcony was broken, couldn't even open it.. One of the OLD smoke detectors kept beeping and we had no hot water! We called maintenance for all 3 issues. They only fixed the hot water temperature. This condo needs some TLC. As far as the complex, its fairly nice, but the kids pool, "water park" needs cleaning repairing. There is a dirty ring around the covered pool and hot tub. The ceilings over the covered pool is bird infested and extremely dirty.

Family Vacation

Stayed here for my kid's spring break this year. It was wonderful! Only complaint was the floors weren't really clean so we had to wear socks while in the condo but that was only a minor inconvenience. The location of the condo was perfect and we truly enjoyed our time there.

Kids Spring Break 03/24/22- 03/27/22

My experience renting this property (Splash Resort 106W) was an easy process. I made reservations less than 24 hours of our arrival. The process went smoothly and check in was very easy! We enjoyed our stay at Splash Resort. The kids enjoyed the water activities at the resort and the beautiful view of the beach. Attractions were 15-20 minutes away which was fine. The only complaint we wished the water was "hot hot" water, but it was hot. It could have been more hot. We will rent again and will recommend others. Overall, we really our vacation.

Beautiful Condo Complex..

The complex itself is gorgeous!! Its very well kept and maintained. A big bonus is theres an Alvin's discount store across the street. We were able to get 10 shirts for $10!! Now the inside of our room was iffy. There was a lot of repairs that needed done-and some broken things. Big plus is the ice maker produces A LOT of ice!! You won't have to buy any ;) The sheets were clean but had those knotty things on them. And me personally-I dont like that. We couldn't use any of the tvs in the bedrooms and the remote in the living room wouldn't work :( On the plus side-the 2 bathrooms are awesome and the balcony furniture is super nice :)

The condo was clean, decor was good, and enjoyed the property. Did not have oven mits. 2 out of 3 light bulbs in second bedroom were burned out. Scuffs in walls. Very few drinking glasses in kitchen. Very few pots and pans. Oven racks were in backwards. Patio door from living room would not close all the way and would stick. Of all the times we have stayed at Slash, this is the worst condo we have stayed in

We had a lovely time! Will definitely be back to the resort! However, will probably find a different unit to stay in. I’ll put everything in list format to make review reading easier. Pros- swim/splash area is wonderful for small children, we loved that the beach chair rental was included, a lot to do for small families! Our girls had a blast! Location to Pier Park and Thomas Donuts and Snack Shop is great! Cons- I do not like writing cons, but if your going to advertise that you are taking extra cleaning precautions due to covid-19 then TAKE THEM. When we got to the unit I had to wipe Down the dining table, which lead me to Lysol wiping the entire condo. Also, there was trash left in the trash can from the previous resident. I called maintenance and they were very pleasant and resolved within the hour. There was sand on the couch. Stained furniture, wear and tear on the walls, thermostat started giving us problems our last day. And the dishwasher was janky. I hand washed everything, before and after using. I understand a lot of People come through this unit and this is a GREAT resort area to stay at. The cleaners need to be more vigilant and take extra care or panhandle getaways needs to find a new cleaning service.

First problem- we were quoted a price in December 2019. Signed a contract with set price. We paid the first portion, then when our final payment was due in July our total price had went up because “tax increase”. When you sign a contract that has a price, the price should not be able to change! Second-condo was filthy. With coronavirus going on you would think it would be cleaned properly, but it was dirty and seemed rushed. We rewashed our sheets, the floors and couch were covered in sand, table and countertops had to be wiped down. My 2 year olds feet were BLACK after walking around in this condo for 2 hours. Third- upon arrival we noticed the curtain rod hanging over the sliding door was missing half of the pole. It was literally hanging by one mount and leaning on the ceiling for support. Thankfully we noticed before my daughter went near the curtains. I texted management and they claimed maintenance would come, never saw them. We found the other half of the curtain rod Hidden behind a fake plant so my husband reattached it. (How did housekeeping not notice this) Fourth problem- this condo SAYS it sleeps 6, but they did not provide blankets or pillow cases for the pull out couch. Which means it only slept 4. We had to ask management for bedding. They told us they would send them the first night, never did. I had to CONSTANTLY text them asking. My son had to use a sheet and one of our pillows the first night. Finally we got the bedding the afternoon of our second day. Fifth- the air conditioning unit did not work properly. It would not get below 73 at night and 75 during the day. I texted management multiple times, they finally sent “maintenance”, he just cut it down to 65 and said “see if that works”. Which it didn’t. They then sent an actual AC person on the 3rd day. It finally got down in temperature on our 4th night. The furniture is stained, the condo is dirty, poorly managed, management takes forever to respond and does not follow through, the spare shower makes a loud squeal the whole time you’re using it, not enough bedding was supplied, dishwasher is not properly installed and comes out of the counter space, and these pictures are DECEIVING. Management likes to send a email saying “if you have any problems please text us and we will do anything fix it” BS. They take days to fix problems, if they even do. And give you the run around. They told me housekeeping and maintenance were coming multiple times and never showed.

Family friendly and fun

Great experience. Very clean. Huge master shower. Very clean. Two king beds and a pullout couch we did not use. Splash pad is awesome and all pools are great !!!

It was ok

Our stay was ok. The property had some broken items and wasn't what it suppose to look like on the pictures. We took cold showers for 4days. The noise from the construction work going on at the splash was very annoying. Couldn't get much rest because of the beating and banging they was doing.

Family Vacation

Perfect spot for our family to enjoy the beach! Only problem we had is that we checked in and got to the room and the cleaning crew was only 1/2 finished. So we just had to stand and wait.
