Nur wenige Schritte von Ihren Zehen im Sand entfernt, ist dieses kleine Haus eines der wenigen, das direkt am Strand liegt. Sehen und hören Sie den Ozean, während Sie auf der Terrasse sitzen. Beobachten Sie den Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer aus den großen Fenstern. Haus ist ideal für bis zu sechs Personen. Weniger als eine Viertelmeile zu Fuß zum Lebensmittelgeschäft, Friseur- und Nagelstudios, Beall's Outlet und allen Arten von Restaurants. Wenn Sie mehr als nur einen Strand suchen, sind es weniger als drei Kilometer bis zu den meisten Ormond Beach-Parks am Meer und an der Küste, die eine Vielzahl aktiver und passiver Outdoor-Aktivitäten bieten. Weniger als vier Meilen zu Daytonas berühmter Fahrt an den Stränden und nur eine kurze Fahrt zum Daytona Speedway mit all den Aktivitäten und Restaurants von Daytona dazwischen.

Das Haus ist voll möbliert mit allem, was Sie brauchen. Fernseher und Wifi sind vorhanden. Bringen Sie einfach einen Badeanzug und ein paar Shorts mit und schon kann es losgehen. Eine tägliche Reinigung ist nicht vorgesehen, eine wöchentliche Reinigung kann jedoch arrangiert werden. Außer dem Verpacken des Mülls müssen Sie bei der Abreise nichts reinigen.

Had a wonderful week at this cottage in August. Kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of linens (including beach towels), and beach chairs and outdoor shower for sandy days! The view of the ocean from inside the cottage was spectacular thanks to Erin heading up the coast! Can recommend this to anyone looking for some laid back beach time!

We loved this beach cottage! The cottage has everything you need; fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, toys, and lots more. It is very clean and has a great cozy feel. The ocean view is amazing and the beach is just a few steps away. The hosts are really nice and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be back!

The Cottage and location was perfect! Just what we needed and we will definitely be back.

This get a way trip was absolutely perfect!! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We didn’t even leave except twice out of the 7 nights we stayed it was exactly what we needed. Perfect Stay

This was my first time at Ormond Beach and I will return! Staying in Jim’s house was absolutely wonderful. The house is a mixture of vintage and new, very clean and comfortable. I can’t think of anything that wasn’t provided, from coffee, plenty towels & washcloths to everything needed for a day at the beach, chairs, umbrellas etc. The location is perfect, ocean view and very short walk to the beach, most beautiful sunrise each morning. And renting from Jim and Melanie was so easy, so kind & welcoming. They were available at all hours for any questions or assistance if needed. This would be a great house for an extended beach vacation 🏖️ it is definitely on my repeat list!!

Truly Amazing!

Everything about this stay was truly amazing! The views of the ocean are absolutely gorgeous. The house is phenomenal - wonderfully clean, nicely decorated, highly organized, and perfectly comfortable for us and our children. They have sincerely thought of everything - beach canopies & umbrellas, wagon, chairs, boogie boards, sand mat, beach bag, cooler, sand toys, along with an open floor inside with enough space to enjoy time together with board games or spread out to do different activities. Plus, they offer insightful guidance on restaurants and things to do in the area. It was everything we wanted and more!

Best stay ever!

This house had everything we needed for beach fun! 2 canopies, tons of chairs, blankets, towels, boogie boards, toys. The home was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, I was able to keep everyone’s bellies happy so easily :-) And we could see the beach from our picture window, SO CLOSE!!!

The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice! It is adorable & comfy. The view is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from our comfy chairs on the patio. Walked on the beach every day. Jim & Melanie came by to welcome us & visit, how many owners do that?? They even left us a bottle of wine. Everything at the cottage was so nice. We hope to return. Best view

We had the best time at this beach house.it is one of the nicest places we have stayed at.beautiful view of the ocean from the chairs outside the living room window.it is seconds to the beach.it is also on a private beach access so there is not a lot of traffic.the yard is fenced in which is perfect for your pet.the shower in the master bath is wonderful.we met the owners and they are very nice.will definitely stay again ❤️

Wonderful Beach Cottage

We had the best time in Beach house. Jim was so easy to work with and very responsive. The location was just perfect for me and pup. My daughter came along for the month and worked from the nicely positioned desk set up, with the perfect ocean view. The restaurant suggestions and menus in the welcome book were helpful. Don't miss the Salty Mermaid across the street! We look forward to our stay, already booked, next year!

Cute cottage by the sea

Very nice property manager, cute house. Had everything needed to cook and hang out comfortably. Slight confusion about front and back bedroom and bed arrangement, but it was very comfortable and super close to the beach. Ormond Beach seems pretty quiet overall, but it was still relatively convenient to everything between Daytona and st Augustine.

Best Vacation Ever

We woke up each and every morning to the most beautiful view of the Ocean and at night were lulled to sleep by the gentle rolling of the waves. The house was extremely clean with many upgraded items and everything in first class shape. As has been mentioned many times all you need are the clothes on your back as everything, and then some, has been provided. Got to meet Jim and his wife Melanie and that was a treat in itself...the nicest people with the most interesting of lives and it is reflected in Ocean Edge. Renovated and decorated beautifully in a very practical manner. Open concept with a whisper quiet DW/ HVAC, beautifully upgraded shower enclosure with easy access. Beds were extremely comfortable. Backyard area for pets with 2 BBQs in excellent shape....when we say "too much to mention" truer words were never spoken. Plenty of Restaurants/ Patios in the area and we have to mention every single restaurant suggested by Jim and Melanie were a 10/ 10. Our one and only suggestion is that Jim and Melanie should give courses on how to operate a rental property as they seem to not only know and care about what they're doing but also, and more importantly, enjoy themselves while doing so. In closing we would like to thank Jim and Melanie for allowing us the use of their home at Ocean Edge as it truly was the Best Vacation ever, Gary & Terri.

Perfect Beach House

My husband and I were very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at this property. The home itself was very clean and spacious. The fenced in backyard is an added perk that was perfect for my Maltese as well as my husband and I. Jim as went above and beyond to ensure the perfect stay…literally you can bring your clothes and you are set. This property is very well equipped with everything needed for the perfect beach vacation. I cannot leave out the view and location! If you are looking for the perfect location then look no further, the home offers beautiful ocean views and you are steps away from the sand! I cannot wait for next trip! Relaxing Beach Vacation

The rental home for the week was very nice. Very accomodating for my husband who is handicap. Being a one story home with no stairs and having a walk in shower made the trip much more enjoyable. Waking up each morning and enjoying the view of the beach was perfect! Accessibility to the beach - accomodating as well for my husband. The owners are very pleasant people who were available to answer any questions I might have. Definitely will refer this location to family and friends!

Great experience

We all had a wonderful time! Jim did an amazing job making sure we were comfortable. He had put together a binder that had information about nearby places, manuals for some of the items in the house to use, etc. He checked in with us and asked us what he could do differently to make the place better. Honestly, you cannot do much to make this place better! We will definitely be renting from him again!

Originally from Michigan and Tennessee, we have longed to be on the ocean and hear the sounds of the waves crashing onto the beach. Morning walks on the beach are our preferred exercise. We are learning to surf fish. Both of us have recently retired.

One of the few small houses on the beach side of A1A allowing direct access to the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean. Vaulted wood ceilings in the house are unique and the large open living area is so comfortable. Just the other side of the Ormondy Condos is the Tom Renick public beach park - a very easy beach walk - kids will love it.
