Kommen Sie und entspannen Sie sich am besten Angelsee in Nordwisconsin! Dieses geräumige Seehaus eignet sich perfekt für einen erholsamen Urlaub in North Woods für Ihre Familie oder bietet viel Platz für mehrere Familien. Unser Haus liegt direkt am See und bietet einen sanften Hang zum Wasser. Keine langen Stufen oder steilen Anstiege zum See. Dies ist ein großartiger Ort, um Erinnerungen mit Ihren Kindern zu schaffen, mit einem flachen Badebereich, den Sie genießen können. Es gibt sogar ein Trockenboothaus, in dem Sie sich entspannen und Ihre gesamte Angelausrüstung aufbewahren können. Wir haben ein Zweipersonenkajak, das den Gästen kostenlos zur Verfügung steht! Wir bieten auch einen Ponton zum Mieten an - bitte lassen Sie es uns wissen, wenn Sie interessiert sind. Wir haben zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils zwei Queensize-Betten im Erdgeschoss. Der fertige Keller hat eine Königin und zwei Einzelbetten zusammen mit einem Schlafsofa. Der Keller verfügt auch über einen Billardtisch und eine Tischtennisplatte! Es gibt einen Grill für die Gäste auf einer Terrasse sowie einen Vorgarten neben dem See. Wir haben einen 65-Zoll-Fernseher mit DVD-Sammlung, damit Sie sich abends am Kamin entspannen können. Spiele und Rätsel stehen für Regentage oder zum Entspannen im Haus zur Verfügung.

Der Sommer bietet großartige Möglichkeiten zum Angeln, Radfahren und Wandern. Im Winter können Sie in der Nähe Motorschlitten fahren (der Weg führt direkt über den See vor der Unterkunft), Langlaufen, Schneeschuhwandern und Eisfischen.

Während der Sommermonate vermieten wir nur wochenlang und checken samstags ein.

Perfect Family Vacation

Fantastic, we were looking for a place to have some family fun time swimming, fishing and relaxing and this place was perfect. Lots of room, pool table down stairs, boat house for all the water toys and fishing gear. We had a fun, relaxing week and caught alot of fish. A very big and beautiful lake.

Fun Labor Day Weekend Getaway

This is such a fun and cozy lake house. My family enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and playing pool and ping pong in the basement. The property owner was easy to work with and he was very polite and responsive when I had questions. A bonus was the syrup they left for us to use during our stay. It was delicious! I can't wait to visit again with my family next year!

outstanding cabin on Lac Vieux Desert

This is an outstanding cabin right on Lac Vieux Desert. The facilities in the cabin are exceptional. There is lots of room with excellent amenities. It was spotless when we arrived. The owner was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The cabin is in close proximity to an excellent DNR boat ramp and the boat dock is easy to access. The lake itself is loaded with fish which explains the abundance of eagles, osprey, and otters. Overall this is the best cabin we have visited in many years.

Getaway vacation

Upstairs was very nice and clean. Windows and storm doors were dirty and had webs. Charcoal grill was dirty and gas grill had no grease pan letting grease go on the ground. Overall we still made sure we had a great vacation

The first thing to note is that Kathy did not stay at our place. She initially booked & then said she couldn’t make the trip so she passed it on to someone else, so I’m not sure who wrote this review. Keep that in mind when you receive a booking from this person. I’m happy to hear you found the interior of the house to be clean. We do a thorough cleaning each spring, but if you have a cabin in the Northwoods you deal with spiders. My cleaning person consistently clears out the interior webs but I don’t expect her to be out there on ladders on a Saturday turnaround day squeegeeing windows . The grills are stored outside. To clean a grill simply light it, turn on high and cover it. Use the provided brushes to clean the grates; the heat will sterilize it. No, my cleaner does not spit polish the outside, and yes, I recently transported this grill up north and the drip pan was lost in transit. People like this try to diminish the hard work by those that clean cabins in our Northwoods, especially in a time when it’s extremely difficult to find help. We are fortunate for the work our cleaner does. I’m happy to hear that you were able to struggle through your week up north to have a great vacation!

Family vacation

Home was amazing- with activities to do indoors if the weather was bad. My family and I enjoyed using the ping pong table (now my kids want one). We also enjoyed searching for the eagles which we were lucky enough to land in the trees right in the yard! It was a great week to unplug and get away from reality. We fished off the pier and kids caught different fish! The kids even went into the lake for a swim. Having a washer and dryer made packing lighter. Ted communicated amazing. We hope to come back again to stay for some amazing family memories! Thank you Ted for sharing your home with us.

Escape to Lac Vieux Desert

Overall we had a marvelous escape from the reality of COVID - 19 at Ted and Katie's home on Lac Vieux Desert. The home was spacious and had everything one could wish for (except WiFi). Right on the water with a fairly level slope to the lake. Views from dining room, living room and master bedroom of the lake. Huge kitchen and a basement with endless opportunities. Though it is part of a previous resort and now a condo development there was decent separation from the other properties and only the parking and shutters made it obvious the property went with the rest of the units. Ted and Katie supplied the various desired things to make your stay enjoyable. The lake is huge - 4000 acres and only about 1/4 of the shore line is developed. The southern shore in Wisconsin is fully developed but much of the rest of the lake shore is either national forest or Native American land. We took advantage of the possible added pontoon rental and really enjoyed our time touring the lake, swimming (the best spot is up the east shore of Misery Bay - there is a big map of the lake in the house) and fishing. Our only concerns were that the house, while not dirty was not as spotless as we would have liked given the Coronavirus. And the couch in the living room leaves a lot to be desired. It sags in the middle, is very low to the ground and overall not at all comfortable. Other than those issues it was a great stay.

Family Fishing Vacation

Again, we all had a fun time on Lac Vieux Desert. It was our second time renting the house. The location of the house, with a pier, made it easy for us to tie up two boats to be ready for our daily (sometimes twice daily) fishing excursions. The availability of fish in the lake did not disappoint. We had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Great accommodations and everything is provided for the cooking/grilling we did. Although, there is not a beach-type area, the kids had fun in the water. We were able to safely anchor a splash pad a bit out and the level of the lake at that point was walkable. A fish cleaning house on the propertly is a big plus. Thank you.

What a great trip with a great place to stay!!!

Amazing property with many perks! Private yet not too far from restaurants and places to explore. In a cute cottage community with wonderfully kind neighbors! Lots of things to do if you are faced with rainy days (dvd choices, pool table, ping pong, puzzles and games with plenty of area for spacing out a big family)! Only suggestion for those of you booking this great place is if you are cooking and prepping food in the huge kitchen know that there are plenty of cooking utensils but absolutely no condiments, spices, coffee or other staples so make sure you pack some! Great communication with owners and super clean!! Enjoy your stay!!!

Rekindle of old traditions

This was a fabulous family vacation. We used to head to northern WI every year for a fishing/outdoor type vacation. It has been many years since we have gone and family size has changed. Thanks to the Wagner’s for sharing their place with us. It was much larger than expected and is a great place to stay! All the conveniences of home and loved the use of the boat as well. We were also pleasantly surprised at the boat house. Great added feature and comfort! Suggest you add some inside pictures of that. Ted was very responsive and we will be back! Looks like we found a great place for our rekindling of our annual trip!!

Our family trip to the Northwoods

We have been spending our whole adult lives in the Northwoods every summer. We picked a different cabin and different lake about every other year. This property is by far the nicest, cleanest and most accommodating property we have ever stayed at. Perfect set up for the family!

Booked the cabin for long weekend of ice fishing. Fishing not good but cabin perfect. Very clean and spacious lots of windows to let light in to watch lake, deer, eagles while sitting at large kitchen table playing cards, dice, and visiting with our favorite beverages. Thankful also for their movie collection since we were planning to watch march madness.

You will be impressed with the space this home offers as well as the close proximity and views of the lake. The area offers many opportunities for you to get out and enjoy the north-woods of Wisconsin.

Our lake home has a dry boat house as an added enjoyment for the property. A two person kayak is provided for guests. We also have a pool table and ping pong table in our basement for guests to enjoy!

This property is part of a condo association. Our home was the original owners home so it is situated in a more private area, right on the lake, but there are other smaller cabins around the property.
