Perfect weekend getaway

We had our 2nd stay at this location and it was as perfect as the 1st time. Really enjoyed the entertainment area in the basement.

Have stayed many times. This place is amazing. Love the hosts. Clean and well appointed and just lovely. Great for a weekend with friends in AA. Highly recommend and would stay here every time we come back.

Beautiful property and garden! The property owners are very helpful and available if you need them. We had a wonderful time hanging out on the massive deck overlooking the beautiful garden and koi pond. The owners put a lot of love and care into their home. Great location close to downtown Ann Arbor. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to host a family gathering!!

We were gathering for a family memorial and this was the perfect place. Good large space to gather many and lots of indoor and outdoor places to settle for a smaller group chat. Amazing amenities, very comfortable, wonderful room for kids to hang out and have their own cool space.

Great stay! We loved every minute!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay! Our family truly enjoyed spending time together in this beautiful home! We loved the quiet and peaceful backyard as well as the pool table and other activities in the lower level. Well maintained home. Lots of notes in the home to help explain everything. Great communications from the host. Close to downtown Ann Arbor and various shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a Michigan football weekend.

What a great location for our group of six. We were a short drive from the U of Michigan campus. The home has tremendous outdoor appeal in the backyard, a great man cave with many fun things to do, and a comfortable dwelling with incredible high tech home entertainment devices.

Fun Family Stay!

We took a quick weekend trip to Ann Arbor with our 6-month-old daughter and had a great stay at Arnold and John's place. It was the perfect setup for us—just a short drive to downtown for daytime exploring, and in the evenings, my husband and I had fun hanging out in the basement game room after our daughter went to bed. She was also completely mesmerized by the goldfish, which was an unexpected bonus! Arnold and John were super responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Amenities just minutes from Ann Arbor

Great hosts in a great location. Absolutely loved the backyard and basement entertainment areas. The steam shower was honestly one of the best showers I've ever had. Highly recommended. John and Arnold were very quick to respond and very accommodating. Bonus points for them having a solar setup during a major storm.

Amazing Space

The combo of beautifully landscaped back yard and the ultimate hang-out set up in the lower level made this place incredibly fun and relaxing. The house has everything and the hosts were gracious and generous. It’s 15 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor but if you are okay with that distance, this place is comfortable and tricked-out for a really fun time. Pics were very accurate.

Wonderful family time

This might just be the best home I have stayed in. The creativity & design inside & outside of the house is masterful. It was comfortable and inviting. I enjoyed feeding the fish every day, visiting the koi fish & seeing a doe & her fawn in the backyard. The basement gave our family priceless time together to play pool, shuffleboard & darts, laugh and enjoy each other's company. I would love to stay here again. Thank you Arnold and John!

Remote work week

We spent a week working remotely from the house while enjoying the amenities each evening. The house was great and was exactly what you see in the pics and reviews. Ann Arbor was the perfect location for restaurants and entertainment. The house was large enough for four guys to work on conference calls etc. Plenty of firewood and privacy made the outdoor space an ideal area to wind down each evening.

Great Stay

Beautiful, quiet property in a nice neighborhood. Kitchen had every appliance and device known to man and refrigerator was well stocked. Even coffee was supplied. We had a great time. We had rain and the firewood got wet so we had to buy some firewood at the Meijer but otherwise everything was perfect!

Ann Arbor Wedding

John greeted us on time and graciously gave us a tour. The house was very comfortable and provided more than everything we needed to prepare for a wedding, ironing boards ... to champagne glasses. The groomsman used the downstairs to dress and the garden provided spectacular backdrops for photos of the men. The house is comfortable and it could also be in a magazine. Thanks so much!

Awesome Location

Beautiful home and set up. Backyard is awesome. Only complaints are that the 2 things we were looking forward to the Pinball Machine and Dart Board we not working. Pinball Machine was broke, and the Darts for the Dart board didn't have tips so the darts would not stick in the board. Kind of a bummer but we made the best of it.

Wonderful Christmas Stay!

We could not have ask for a better stay in Ann Arbor for Christmas. Arnold and John were wonderful! Check-in was easy, and they were very accommodating, going above and beyond with a few items we asked for to make our family Christmas logistics work. We were even greeted with holiday treats snd a bottle of wine. Nice touch! Appreciated John’s effort to make sure the drive was cleared of snow. Thank you! We loved having the piano as several in our group were able to fill the house with Christmas music. The walkout basement was anything but a basement. You felt like you had your own private entertainment retreat. Perfect hangout for these cold MI days. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Ann Arbor. Thank you!
