Amazing home away from home

Sadie was amazing, she was there when we got there and informed us ac just broke was on it to get it fixed and she did. The space was cozy and comfortable. There was little things everywhere that if you forgot something it was there for you to use. So much better then any hotel ive ever been too. This was such a great stay, with puzzles, games, books and dvds for both kids and adults was amazing. She was so informative and we can't wait to come back down and stay in one of her properties again. So all in all you want to feel like your at home please look into booking her place for sure.

Sandie and her rental are perfect for a little family! My husband and 1 year old stayed here and it was absolutely perfect! The property was clean and SO close to the beach! We will absolutely come back to this property the next time we decide to vacation in Kitty Hawk.

Wonderful & Welcoming

One of the best experiences! Sandie made us feel so welcome when she met us for a quick tour upon our arrival and shared all kinds of helpful info about the area. Excellent experience for our vacation

Sandie is a wonderful host! Her little cottage style house is perfect for a family with children and it is very homey. It has a beautiful theme that blends in perfectly with the beach environment. The location is very convenient for shopping, eating out, and it is just a jump across the bypass to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation in Kitty Hawk while visiting our family!

Verbesserungswürdig: Check-in

was a good base for exploring the outer banks. Property was kid friendly and owner was super nice.

property was great, just a few blocks from the beach, had a nice patio to enjoy morning coffee. Plenty of room for us and 3 kids(youngest doesn't sleep alone). The only negatives were: no laundry nearby, and most of the condo is carpeted, including the living and dining areas, which is not ideal for a beach vacation or messy kids, so we had to be pretty careful there, otherwise great.

It was ok however there were three of us staying the week and only one washcloth and one bath towel for each for the entire week. I use a clean wash cloth and towel everyday. However coffee and muffins were provided.

All the convenience

Everything was super tidy and updated. It was a rainy stay so we enjoyed the puzzles and games. Great coffee selection and we had beyond everything we are used to getting in a beach condo. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. Over the top great property owner.

Family friendly townhome

Sandie is a great host. The place is a great rental home, perfect for young family with 2 kids. The home has all the essentials for a pleasant stay. We were happy to find Sandie provided books and puzzles for kids. These help keep them busy. Kitchen have all the required pans and pots to make a meal. The place is clean and tidy. It was more than our expectation. The beach is in close proximity along with other attractions. Definitely recommend this place.

Nice stay In Outer Banks

Sandie was so nice for a property’s manager. He gave us gifts when we arrived and was very welcoming to our family. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Wish it was a beachfront but weather wasn’t so good to swim in ocean anyway. Close to some great food and activities to to instead. Fabulous stay and vacation

We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for 46 years. Sandie's property is by far one the nicest that we have stayed at. She thought of everything including welcome blueberry muffins for our breakfast. The property was even more lovely than we had expected. It is meticulously clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is two stories however, so not handicapped accessible to the 2nd floor but that was not an issue for our stay. We have already planned to return to OBX for next summer and stay at her wonderful property.

Zu Gast bei Sandie Markland

My husband of 30+ years and I moved to the Outer Banks after retiring from government service (me) and law enforcement (him) in the Washington, D.C. area. I am an Air Force brat who grew up primarily in and around the Nation's Capitol while my husband drifted into the area from Long Island when he was in in his mid- 20s.

I am now an artist working at stone carving and jewelry making --- an odd combo, I know, but it works for me! I also enjoy photography and some of my photos are on display in our Kitty Hawk property for your enjoyment!

I am also a crazed gardener --- I LOVE to play in the dirt --- and my garden keeps me centered. I suppose gardening is an art form and can be quite an adventure in the crazy climate of this place!

I now longer care to travel myself, but look forward to the opportunity to welcome those who travel to the Outer Banks and hope I can make some small contribution to making your visit here as wonderful as possible!

When our sons were young, we vacationed in a townhouse in the same development where our property is located. It belonged to the family of a coworker and worked well for our little family --- we have the fondest, most wonderful memories of our vacations there. When our current unit became available and we made arrangements to take a look, all those fantastic memories came rushing back and we were sold! I have done my best to furnish this home in the brightest, most pleasing way possible.

While this home can't claim a location right on the oceanfront, it is a happy and peaceful place in which to rest between adventures --- a great place to enjoy your morning coffee in the privacy of your own little patio (complete with small gardening touches because I can't help myself ...) or cook meals for your family on evenings where you'd like to stay in and enjoy movies, books or board games.
