Modernes Apartment im Stadtzentrum

## Raum

Unsere Wohnung ist 96m2 mit Küche, Bad, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Wohnzimmer. Die ganze Wohnung wurde kürzlich renoviert. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett und das andere Schlafzimmer hat 3x 90cm Einzelbetten (Sie können 2 zusammen als 180cm Bett setzen). Im Wohnzimmer haben wir ein Schlafsofa, also ist es der perfekte Ort für eine große Familie oder zwei Familien, die nach Island reisen.
Im Wohnzimmer haben wir HD-TV mit über 50 TV-Stationen, Playstation 3 mit wenigen Spielen oder DVD / Blueray. Die Wohnung verfügt über Highspeed-WLAN. In der Küche gibt es einen kleinen Tisch mit Sitzbank und im Wohnzimmer gibt es einen großen Tisch mit 6 Stühlen. Stühle und Platz für Babys können bei Bedarf geliefert werden. Das Badezimmer hat eine schöne Dusche. Unsere Wohnung verfügt über ein eingebautes Soundsystem und eingebaute Lautsprecher sind in jedem Zimmer (sogar im Badezimmer), wo Sie Radiosender, Spotify etc. spielen können.

Unsere Küche hat alle Standard-Ausstattung, einschließlich Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Backofen, Geschirr etc. und Dolce Gusto Kaffeemaschine mit verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen von Kaffee, Tee und Coca.

## Interaktion

Wir können mit unseren Gästen sehr flexibel sein, wir können Abholung arrangieren und Sie zu der Wohnung bringen, empfehlen Sie nette Restaurants usw.

## Gegend

Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Straße in der Innenstadt von Reykjavik, aber alle Unterhaltungs- und Freizeitaktivitäten, die Reykjavik zu bieten hat, sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Wenn Sie gerne laufen oder Fahrrad fahren, gibt es viele schöne Wege.

## Transit

Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in der Nähe von BSI der Busbahnhof, der Sie zum Flughafen in Keflavik und anderen Busreisen wie die Blaue Lagune, Geysir usw. bringt. Alle Restaurants, Museen, Geschäfte usw. sind zu Fuß erreichbar und der Hafen von Reykjavik sowie Walbeobachtung befinden sich 1,6 km vom Apartment entfernt. Sie können auch Fahrräder in der Nähe der Wohnung mieten.

Great Location and Fun

We had a great time in Iceland. This property was in the BEST location. It had everything we needed and the host was great about communicating information. We appreciated the parking spot since the street was full every day.

Perfect Location Northern Lights Surprise

The property was exactly as listed, including the fresh, clean vibe. Good heat, comfortable beds, and hot shower. (All important in January.) We appreciated the off-street parking. Easily walkable to downtown but nice to be a couple blocks off the Main Street for the fireworks on New Year’s Eve. That night we could even see the Northern Lights from the apartment. Thanks for having us!

Pros- Great location Owner easy to communicate with Apartment easy to get into Cons- Missing basic items in the kitchen such as tongs and cookie sheets/baking pans Everything in the kitchen was dirty. We had to wash everything prior to use. House and especially kitchen is cluttered with items that are not useful (melted unusable colander), old food from previous guests, clothing in closets left from previous guests. Hallway of building smells like cigarette smoke. Sheets and towels were old and worn. Walls and ceilings look dirty. The whole apartment really needs a good cleaning and decluttering. For the price of this apartment it should be kept up better.

Our stay in Reykjavik

We were looking for a place that was close to the downtown area in Reykjavik so we could to day trips out and around Iceland. This place was perfect. About a block from all the action in Reykjavik and great accommodations. Couldn’t have been happier with our flat. Will stay there again next time I come.

We loved the flat. The accommodations were great, the beds were comfortable and the location couldn’t have been better for us. We wanted a base camp in Reykjavik close to the down town area and we were about one block from all the action. Couldn’t have been happier.

Great Apartment. Perfect Location!

Kjartan was very accommodating and kind. We spent 7 nights over Christmas with our 2 teenaged girls. Our friends rented the apartment directly below us, which was the best possible situation considering the long tour days and messed up wake/sleep schedule! Bus stop 8 (where we met all tours) was 2 blocks away in the parking lot of Hallgrimskirkja Church. Great restaurants and shopping in Reykjavik just steps away.

Spacious and great location!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 3 daughters. It was a nice change after staying in some tight efficiencies earlier in the week. Large living and dining rooms were great for relaxing. Laundry is in the basement and shared with other units. Kitchen is nice and well equipped. Sonos sound system was a treat. Entrance way is a bit smelly, maybe the resident upstairs smokes but the apartment was clean and smoke free. One parking space is shared between both units on a first-come basis but there is plenty of street parking so it wasn’t a problem.

Great place to stay for families

This was the perfect place for our family of 5. Very spacious and great location as well. Can walk to all of the downtown Reykjavík shops/restaurants. We rented a car, so easy access to main highways to explore southern regions, Golden Circle, etc. Host was super accommodating and flexible. Would stay again without hesitation.

The apartment is in an excellent location, very convenient to bus stop 8 and to walk to all the restaurants and shops. The images are accurate and it was spacious enough for our family of six. The host was responsive and punctual in communicating. Could not have been a better experience for us.

Couldn't be better!!

The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and sparkling clean, we saw rainbows out the windows 2 mornings. Perfect walking distance to the big cathedral, also perfect location to pick up city and tour buses. We did not need a car, and excellent bakeries (Braud, SaltHoldt?) Amd restaurants all within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Central Reykjavik apartment won't disappoint

Our family needed an apartment in Reykjavik and we were lucky to find this gem! The 2 bedrooms were perfect for my wife and I and our 2 kids. Lots of room (kitchen, dining room, living room and bath in addition to the bedrooms). The parking on the street was free but we also were able to park off the street. The downtown area was just a block away, as was the cathedral, and there were numerous restaurants and bakeries within a few blocks (try the pizza place down the block!). We took day trips each day and it was a pleasure to come home to the apartment each night. I cannot thank Kjartan enough. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Iceland.

A wonderful location

We were a group of 5 women and this house was perfect for us. The location is great- in a nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to everything in Reykjavik. The house was always easy to find as it is close to a very TALL church that can be seen from miles away. Kjarten was very accommodating, providing an apartment for us upon our early arrival until ours was cleaned and ready for us. Kjarten also provided us with a private tour of the Golden Circle, including making a lunch reservation at the Fridheimer tomato greenhouse restaurant. We couldn't have picked a better accommodation for our stay in Reykjavik!

Great Apartment!

I traveled with my family of 5, my husband and 3 children. I loved this apartment. This apartment is perfectly located in walking distance to all of the sights of the city and to all of the stores. We stayed at the apartment as our base for a week and did the most amazing day trips to all the sights one needs to see in Iceland. The apartment was extremely clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was great and the beds were amazing. The dining area and dining table is very large and was great for our family meals. Kjartan, the owner was very nice and accommodating helping us with everything we needed. I would come back to this apartment in a heartbeat.

Perfect Location

We are airline people and had to find a place last minute due to flying standby when we travel. I had emailed Kjartan the day before our flight to make sure the unit was available. Once I knew we had seats on the plane I let Kjartan know and he was so helpful and accommodating in letting us book last minute and allowing us to check in early since we landed at 6:30am local time. The unit itself had everything we needed and was comfortable. It's in a nice quite neighborhood with easy walking to all the bars and restaurants we wanted. I also found several good spots to get a good run in during our trip. I would recommend this unit and will definitely contact Kjartan again should I be back in the great country of Iceland.

Spot on apartment, perfect hosting!

Okey, where to start? Me and my friend were looking for an apartment to stay in for 5 weeks during our internship. We came over this apartment here at vrbo.com, and we were in love straight away. Now our stay is soon over, and we want to recommend this flat to all of you who are looking for a nice place to stay. The service from the hoster (Kjartan) has been excellent, and he has been so welcoming, all the way . He has just been a call away, no matter when or what. If you want an apartment where you can relax, without any worries, we really recommend you to send this guy an e-mail!

If I could, I would marry this apartment

First, this apartment was amazing. Everything was in great condition, the location is amazing, and even the neighbors are great! We rented the unit for a whole week -- Kjartan was great working with us on our checkin/checkout times, and gave some great recommendations for restaurants in Reykjavik. We used this unit as a home base to get around and travel out to the countryside as well. Reykjavik is super walkable, so we made most of our trips by foot. The only real problem we had was after about 24 hours in the unit... when we started talking about moving to Iceland permanently. :)

excellent host, great location

The apartment was perfect for our needs - a group of 6 girls visiting Iceland for 5 days. The location was fabulous: on a nice, quiet street right next to the big church (and therefore always easy to find our way home), and just a few minutes' walk from everything the city has to offer. We didn't take a single cab the entire time when exploring Reykjavik, due to the perfect location. Kjartan couldn't have been any more welcoming as a host. He was extremely attentive from beginning to end, and especially while there, and made our stay in his home very easy and comfortable. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of places to rent. VERY highly recommended to anyone looking for a great location, a clean apartment, and an extremely accommodating host!
