Eines von sechs Cottages in Privatbesitz am Crooked Lake in einer familienorientierten, parkähnlichen Umgebung in der Nähe der beliebten Sandbank. Dieses Cottage bietet viel Tageslicht in einem gemütlichen Interieur aus Kiefernholz mit allen notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten. Dies ist der perfekte Ort für alle Jahreszeiten.

Das niedliche Cottage mit zwei Schlafzimmern (einschließlich eines großen Lofts) und zwei Bädern bietet Platz für sechs Personen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet für alles, was Sie sich vorstellen können.

450 Meter gemeinsame Uferfront und die Hälfte ist ein Sandstrand. Flaches und sandiges Grundwasser sorgt für das BESTE und sicherste Schwimmen am Crooked Lake. Entspannen Sie sich und lehnen Sie sich am Abend zurück, indem Sie Marshmallows von einer der vielen Lagerfeuerstellen braten.

Wenn Sie interessiert sind, haben wir 2 Kajaks in normaler Größe, ein kleineres Kajak, ein Paddelboot und ein Seerosenblatt (Wassermatte) zur Miete für 200 USD pro Woche. Lass es uns einfach wissen.

Ebenfalls neu in 2013 - der erweiterte Little Traverse Wheelway-Radweg ist direkt gegenüber von unserem Cottage zugänglich. Genießen Sie eine großartige Radtour nach Petoskey oder in die niedliche Stadt Alanson, nur 5 km nördlich.

Wenn Sie einen Spaziergang bevorzugen, gibt es einen 1,6 km langen Fußweg an den historischen Häusern des Crooked Lake vorbei, der gleich die Straße hinunter vom Cottage beginnt. Zum komfortablen Resort gehören auch Volleyball, ein kleiner Basketballplatz und Hufeisen. Hier können Sie richtig entspannen!

Bootsausrutscher im privaten Yachthafen inklusive bei Hüttenvermietung. Jetskis können im flachen Wasser vor dem Strand verankert werden. Hütte ist ca. 100 Meter vom Strand und See entfernt.

Das Haus verfügt über 2 Parkplätze an der Straßenseite des Hauses. Der vordere Platz ist für die Eigentümer, wird aber nicht sehr oft genutzt.

Viele Restaurants, Golfplätze und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe und nur wenige Minuten von Boyne Highlands und Nubs Nob entfernt. Brandneues Casino, The Odawa Resort, nur 15 Minuten vom Cottage und nur 48 km von Mackinac Island entfernt. Eine großartige Lage!

A great break.

Beautiful cottage with a short drive to Mackinaw and Petoskey. There's a nice beach that our kids enjoyed winding down at. We would utilize this cottage without reservations for future adventures.

Wonderful stay

The location and house was just as advertised.we had never been on crooked lake with a sandy beach. We had a terrific week of weather,short drive to northwood family restaurant,Bob's place,and golfing at chestnut valley. We hope to be back next summer.

Summer vacation

This was a great place for our family to stay. It was in a quiet location outside of Petosky but close enough it to all the main attraction. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with all the things need to cook in the kitchen. Nice little beach to relax at night. The owner was also very quick to reply to any questions we and even gave us suggestion on places to visit. I would recommend this place to friends and family and would even rent again the next time going to Petosky.

Lakeside Vacation

House was very clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable. Cluster of lake homes share a beach and small marina. Simple check-in and out. Close to everything needed while on vacation. If you have kids, renting the lily pad and kayaks is a must! Perfect vacation to Petoskey.

The house was absolutely adorable and very well equipped with everything we needed. We spent alot of time on the nice sand beach and enjoying the lake view from the deck. Megan was fantastic at answering all questions in a very timely manner. Definitely looking to rent again next year 😀

Adorable cottage

I loved this cottage. It was clean, cute and well stocked. It's in a convenient location for all sorts of activities. The little beach was clean, the water is nice and shallow and clean. Chairs and umbrellas are provided which is a major plus for me. There is a small marina to dock your boat, with a boat launch not too far away. The parking with a boat trailer is a little tight but we made it work. We will for sure stay here again.

Very nice place

Amazing summer vacation

We have been vacationing in the Petoskey area since I was a little kid. This is by far the best place we have stayed! The location and beach/lake access cannot be beat. The kids (and adults 😉) loved the LilyPad and kayaks. Already planning on coming back next summer!

Didn't want to leave:)

It was a great week @ Megan & Tom's cottage! The cottage was as described and pictured online. It is accurate that the front bedroom does hear road noise since it is up against a busy road, however it was not a deal breaker and did not bother us. We spent most of the time in the kitchen/living room and of course outside. It was cute, cozy and had all the essentials. Loved having a washer/dryer as well. There was a new gas grill on the property so we grilled almost every night. There is a grocery store (Olsen's) a few miles away to get groceries and bundles of wood. After grilling each night we swam and then had a fire down on the beach overlooking the lake. We also rented the kayaks to explore the lake. There is a nice 10-15 min walk along the water in front of what looked like family owned homes/cottages. Even though it rained 1/2 of our stay we made the best of it and explored. Charlevoix, Mackinac Island and the Sleeping Bear Dunes were a fun day trip. Also check out Pond Farm Winery/Brewery for lunch and drinks as well as the nature walk close by. Megan and her family were great, we met them one night doing smores and our son enjoyed a little basketball with Sander their son:) We would definitely recommend staying and we would return as well:)

Amazing vacation!!!

Megan and Tom Cole are the nicest people to rent from. Their cottage was so beautiful and clean. The decor is perfect. Beds were comfy. Well stocked kitchen. Kayaks and lily pad were right next to the cottage for easy access for my son and his friend. Any questions, we had were so quickly answered. Petoskey is close to get anything we needed. It was seriously one of the most fun and relaxing vacations we have had in awhile. We will be back!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊

Very nice

The cottage was exactly like described inside. It was clean and modern with fully stocked amenities. The lake access was a nice feature. It is a shared common area, so I imagine with more than two families there it may get crowded. The kids enjoyed the water and the basketball area. This property is very much kid friendly. The property sits feet from a busy road. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us since we were only staying for a tournament weekend. There are two queen beds upstairs and one down stairs. The bed up stairs was very lumpy and sagged in the middle. The other queen was much more firm and overall comfortable. Ultimately, we had a very nice stay and the owners were very gracious, making sure we had all the amenities we needed. I would recommend this property. It is in a great location and just minutes away from Petoskey.

Lovely little lakeside cottage

We had a wonderful time at this property. Check in and check out were easy. The property owner was very responsive and did everything she could to make us feel at home and comfortable reaching out to her. She had lots of great recommendations in the area. The kitchen is well stocked. The place was very clean which we especially appreciated given the pandemic. Close to both Petoskey and Harbor Springs with lots to do in the area. You can see the lovely lake from the unit but the parking lot is between the unit and the lake. My only other complaint would be that the unit is very close to a busy road. Didn’t bother us really but could be a turn off for some. Overall very happy. Highly recommend. Would stay here again.

Crooked Lake is a great lake for diversity and family fun--- the sand bar, the Black Hole, fishing, all types of wildlife, the locks and the swinging bridge in Alanson. The setting that Water's Edge provides allows for a little of everything while still being very convenient to Petoskey and Harbor Springs.

The proximity of this property to the sandbar as well as the great boat slip makes water adventures an easy escape. If you choose to stay put, the swimming beach is the best on the lake.
