Kürzlich erweitertes Ferienchalet & renovierte Küche inmitten des Seneca Lake Wine Trail mit Seeblick in waldreicher Umgebung. Das Hotel liegt in Hector, NY, nur acht Meilen nördlich von Watkins Glen, auf der Ostseite von Seneca Lake. Diese fünf Schlafzimmer, drei Badezimmer jährig Haus bietet Platz für 10 bis 12 und verfügt über Holzböden, große Zimmer mit Kamin und 700 qm Terrasse mit schönen See und den Sonnenuntergang... Der Wohnraum, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder sind bequem im Erdgeschoss befindet. Im Obergeschoss verfügt über ein großes Schlafzimmer / Spielzimmer und eine Sitz Loft mit spektakulärem Blick auf den See und mit Blick auf den großen Raum. Walkout Erdgeschoss verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, Bad & Hobbyraum.
Strandzugang kurzen Spaziergang bergab. Nach einem Tag in der 11 Weingüter in ein paar Meilen, oder Wandern in Watkins Glen oder die Finger Lakes National Forest, zu diesem ruhigen Kurzurlaub zu entkommen, um ein Glas New York Wein auf der Terrasse genießen, ein Buch lesen oder besuchen Sie mit Freunden.

Paul was a wonderful host, very responsive and available if needed. There was an issue with road paving closing down the main roadway to the house, and he was super accommodating. House was a wonderful location and super relaxing, had everything we needed for a great weekend!

This home is very spacious and clean. the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our activities in town and at the racetrack and Paul was a very gracious host.

Excellent Location

We had our family get together at this beautiful Chalet. 6 adults and 2 children. There was an unusual heat wave during our stay so we didn’t spend much time at the pickleball court but is was nice. The A/C worked fine and kept us cool. The huge upper deck was great for sitting outdoors when it cooled down. We found a hidden gem close to the property called “Here” which serves breakfast and lunch Fri- Mon. The only thing I want to mention is the small parking area at the bottom of a narrow driveway. We had 3 cars so we ended up having to either back in or back out when parking at the bottom. Also the private beach is not adjacent to the property but that was not a problem for us since it was simply too hot to use. We had a great time at this clean and well stocked property.

This chalet was the ideal base for our bachelorette weekend in Hector's Wine Country. The property was precisely as advertised, and we found everything to be in perfect order. Paul was great with communication leading up to our stay, and fortunately, we didn't need to reach out during our trip. The self check-in was particularly convenient, especially with multiple people arriving at different times. We loved the stunning views of Seneca Lake from the property and only wish we could have extended our stay beyond the weekend.

Wonderfully comfortable

This was a great place for myself and 5 friends. It is spacious, well maintained, and beautifully furnished with a great view. Everything one needs in the kitchen is there. A good location for visiting the many wineries. The owner is very accommodating also.

Girls Trip

Lovely location close to many wineries and an easy drive to Watkins Glen or Ithaca. Plenty of beds, seating and a large kitchen. Enjoyed the fire pit. We had two issues (water and plumbing) which were inconvenient for us, but Paul was easy to communicate with and quick to address them.

Lovely, great location, but...

While the house is accurate according to the listing, what is not visible is the sewer smell being covered up with household cleaning products (smell possibly emanating from the septic tanks). In addition there were an excessive amount of gnat like fruit flies, even in the bedroom.

Loved the view. Beds were comfortable, baths were clean.. There was a problem that the owner addressed immediately.. Directions to the dock were not clear, and it was a difficult walk to get there. Overall we e joyed the area and the location..

Perfect Family Getaway in a Quiet and Spacious Location

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location was wonderfully quiet, and we made great use of the tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts. The property was easy to find, impeccably clean, and incredibly welcoming. The hosts were very responsive and communicated clearly, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were not disappointed!! Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We all agreed we would definitely return and recommend this property to anyone coming to the area!! Couldn’t have asked for better communication with the owner Paul! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked with basics and there is plenty of room for a large group. We were disappointed to find out only weeks ahead of our July 4th weekend stay that the back deck would not be available during our time there, and that’s definitely a big draw for this property. The owner did make an adjustment, but hopefully they are able to fix it soon so that others can enjoy the deck. The view of the lake is definitely better before the trees are full of leaves but you can still enjoy the lake peeking through the trees!! The walk to the “beach isn’t too bad, but we had a member of our party with some mobility/stamina issues and it was a little bit of a struggle for him. I would definitely recommend driving down to the area at the top of the stairs if anyone in your party has similar issues. There are plenty of wineries/breweries within a few miles of this property and it’s only about a 25 minute drive from Watkins Glen. Oodles of places to eat and things to do nearby!

Great spot to unwind in the finger lakes!

We had a great time on our trip. House was large and comfortable. We grilled on the porch and enjoyed a night around the fire pit outside. It was disappointing that the upper deck was roped off, but the discount was appreciated. The lower deck provided a beautiful view. The lake is a little bit of a walk and a small area, but we still had a good time splashing in the water. Near numerous wineries (particularly liked Silver Thread ten minutes up the Lake) We would definitely come back for a longer stay!

Wonderful

A small group of us needed a house on the lake for a weekend so we could do some wine tasting and relaxing for my best friend’s bachelorette celebrations. It was wonderful. Fully stocked kitchen, multiple bathrooms , lots of beds to pick from. The owner communicated very quickly if we had questions. Only real downside was the dock to the lake is not directly behind the property. For anyone who might not be able to handle steep hills better brining your car there. Also the water in the showers didn’t really get above warm. But the water pressure was great. Over all it was an absolutely wonderful perfect place to stay

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house was excellent - plenty of room for whole family with each couple having their own room. Location was outstanding - short walk to the dock, fun time playing basketball and pickleball, sitting on the deck and having a fire at night. Everything was a short drive - wineries, brewing companies, golf, boat rental, state parks/hikes, and even the grocery store. Had one issue with water pressure that was taken care of in short order, so host was very responsive.

Better than the pictures!

The house is well maintained and in a beautiful location. It was a perfect place for several family members to meet up and spend a week exploring the finger lakes area. There are decks on both levels overlooking Lake Seneca, lovely spots for enjoying wine and conversation while watching the sunset. Paul was an excellent host and very communicative and responsive.
