Best Condo I've ever rented!!!

The place was HUGE and immaculate. We were nervous that it wouldn't be big enough because we had 13 people with us for a baseball tournament, but it was PERFECT!! Views were amazing!!

Place was great, the rooms was juat as advertised. We loved the location right on the beach, made for a beautiful view every night and moring. Only thing was our tvs didnt work in all the rooms and i texted the nunber for the manager to come and fix them, said they was on the way and never showed up. That was kind of aggravating, but other than that we loved our place and the location!

The property was wonderful, very comfortable clean. The views from the balcony were great. Two suggestions, if you could provide small stools to assist getting into the tall beds that would be extremely helpful, especially for shorter adults and if you could figure out a way to stop the railings from banging in the wind that would be great. These two things are minor, we had a bodacious time.

Elevators ruined the trip

The condo itself was good but the elevators are absolutely horrible. I will not stay here again. The staff members are also not helpful when it comes to the elevators and were rude about obtaining carts to carry luggage. There are tons of other places that are cheaper and much better.

Better than Expected!

We were completely blown away by this unit. The online pictures don’t do it justice. We’ve stayed at Tidewater before but this unit feels like it’s twice the size of others we’ve stayed in. We loved everything, but some of the key features that stand out are having three parking passes, four bedrooms, a huge balcony on the 23rd floor for an amazing view, and thoughtful touches like small bottles of shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom. We’ve found our new go to spot in Panama City and you can guarantee we’ll be back next year!!

Loved It

Great condo, lots of room for 6 women! Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Great view of the ocean; if heights bother you, you should pick a lower floor. We were on the 23rd floor. Beds were super comfy; couches too. Only negative, which was expected, was that elevators r a little slow. We thought we were going at off season but it was Columbus Day, so everywhere was busier than anticipated. If you have a big family or group this place will be perfect.

Fall break

Just got back from our week in PCB for fall break. I will be honest I was so nervous about the elevator 's but we didn't wait longer than 20 seconds the whole week! Avoiding the first week of fall break I think helped us since it wasn't very busy when we were there. We had 2 families and everyone enjoyed the condo. If I had to suggest anything it would have been nice to have more dishtowels and a starter liquid dish soap but to be honest the condo was clean, comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. Would definitely recommend! We had a great time!

Family beach vacation

The condo was great, no complaints. The beachfront was perfect, not over crowded and the water was warm and clear! However the only reason I would not consider staying at any condo in Tidewater is due to the elevator fiasco. The building management truly needs to upgrade the elevators. We waited as long as 30 minutes at times and there are 7 elevators in the building. At high peak times an elevator operator would have to manage each elevator due to the high demand, lines forming in the hallways and the elevators stopping at random floors with no one waiting to get on. I would have zero complaints if the elevator situation was better.

Ee hsd stayed here a few years ago and it was a good experience, however this time was lacking. When we arrived the place did not appear to have been cleaned, the kitchen closet door was broken, the fridge was not working properly. When it rained the ceiling was leaking and there was mold in the shower.

Overall pretty nice

Condo was pretty nice. A few things needed attention from the beginning..... several light bulbs out, drawer/shelf in fridge broke, couch missing a leg. One day into our stay the bed frame collapsed on the king size bed. It took almost two days to get fixed. Beyond the repairs the condo was very nice. Elevators were extremely long wait most of the week. The pools were cold and hardly had guests in them, so everyone went in the hot tub. Only 11 guests in the hot tub were allowed and security was strict on that, so it was a lose lose situation. Security was very much present on the property, which was appreciated. The restaurant had excellent drinks/food.

Amazing view, but.......

Condo size and location were amazing. Condo needs a MAJOR deep cleaning. Master shower had mold all around the door and edges, carpet in master bedroom and closet is very nasty & stained and needs to be replaced, there were spider webs and gunk around the bottom of the sliding door going onto the balcony from the master bedroom, things that anyone who is cleaning would notice. Furniture is stained needs to be replaced. Called property manager on the first day with several issues. Did not hear back from them until the 3rd day of our 4 day stay. There was glass in the carpet in the master bedroom, the quilts were wet when they were put on the bunk beds. If condo were to have a major renovation and cleaning we would stay here again. Otherwise we would not.

not the best experience

To begin with, I did not realize this unit was on the 23rd floor of a 30 story complex. I should have done more research. The elevators were very slow so going antwhere even the beach wasn't easy. Parking across the street in the parking garage made everything including getting groceries more difficult. There aren't nearly enough rolling carts available. The floor in unit was dirty when we arrived, the shower and tubs not clean and there were 10 light bulbs out. Panhandle Getaways was responsive to our concerns the floors and bathrooms were cleaned the day after we arrived but it was 3 days before light bulbs were replaced. On Thursday morning the oven door fell apart and we walked around the broken door for the next 2 days. Panhandle Getaways was responsive and apologetic but unable to repair during our stay. It's a good thing we didn't plan to cook the last 2 days. All that being said the condo itself was spacious and comfortable, the view from the balcony was spectacular but we won't be going back.

Filthy and disorganized - never again

When we arrived our condo had dirty sheets on two of the beds and no comforters. After waiting for over an hour we finally had someone come by and drop off clean sheets and a comforter. Not that we minded to make our own beds but she literally just left the clean & dirty sheets and jetted. We asked her if the tables had even been wiped down and she said they probably had and the cup rings all along the tables were just that way. We wiped everything down ourselves since we were set to be there for the next 5 nights. One of the chairs to sit in had a broken leg. There was a broken light fixture as well that I would have thought that during their “inspection” from the previous tenants they would have fixed. We felt like the place was filthy and needed some TLC. Tidewater was overbooked, I felt like we spent 50% of our vacation waiting on elevators. The theater was only showing one night during our stay which happened to be the night we were out. What’s the point in having a theater if it’s not going to be used. The indoor pool was overcrowded and full of dirt and hair. We took one look and didn’t bother. I hate to leave a bad review and we really aren’t all that hard to please. But we paid a good amount of money for this place and it sucked! Oh and I can’t forget about the constant smell of marijuana next door. We could have rented a house for what we paid and had a much better experience. Good luck at this one.

The elevator made it not worth it

The condo itself was ok - it’s super high up so if you don’t like heights, choose elsewhere. The elevator situation made it absolutely not worth it. Longest waits I’ve ever experienced. We literally waited over 45 MINUTES one time just to get an elevator. Beach was very crowded, which is to be expected during peak summer season but this condo is just way too big to have such a short beachfront.

The only thing that I have to complain about was the elevators all of them were broke down except for one I’m walking up and down from the 23rd floor is not ideal for vacation
