Very Good Home

It was a great stay! It’s so close to the beach that we could easily get there in time for the sunsets. The unit was very clean and different from other’s reviews, the on-island support was fantastic. Very quick to respond about the pool or bringing extra propane for the grill. The pool was great and got a ton of afternoon sun. Having the pond behind was nice. We’ve been coming to Anna Maria for 20 years and always found items that weren’t on the amenities list. Things like coffee filters, or maybe salt and pepper, likely from previous guests. This was the first time we had to buy extra garbage bags, filters, TP. Wish for a couple more pool noodles but if that’s all we need to worry about, that’s ok.

Nice Place!

This place was great. Clean, close to beach, large pool. We would stay here again! We had our 3 kids with us, 5,3 & 10 months. Would be nice if they offered a crib for infants with rental, but we were able to rent elsewhere. Pool was fantastic, warm even on the cold days. Kids were swimming in the pool by 8 AM almost every day!

Had a great week here. Location is great. There isn’t a wagon for the beach, but we used our golf cart to get to the beach. It is a duplex, and we weren’t aware of that before booking. Would definitely stay here again.

Great AMI Rental

We have actually rented this unit three times due to great location, pool, cleanliness and having a dock and water view in backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and you can walk/bike to beach, many shops, bars and restaurants. Renting and check in and check out are streamlined and easy so you can truly enjoy your stay from start to finish. I highly recommend this rental!

Rental has nice pool and private back yard. Easy walk to beach. Not enough pans and storage containers. We cooked most nights because to hard to get in anywhere to eat. Just would like to see these rentals leave hand soap and if you stay 7 days 7 garbage bags 7 dishwashers soap ect.

Very close to the beach which was lovely. Close to the trolly stops too. Enjoyed the pool, cleaned twice while we were there. Had some beach toys and beach chairs but no beach umbrella, wagon or cooler. Kitchen well stocked and maintained. Not many blankets so called and asked for more and they brought them that day. All in all a beautiful spot. Loved overlooking the pond. Quiet neighborhood.

This place is a duplex. The pool is really nice. Had issues with the refrigerator and ice maker. Washing machine doesn’t work properly nor does the wifi or cable. Propane tanks for the grill were both empty. Beds are just ok, stiff and firm. Not comfy. The location is really good! Duplex is nice and spacious.

This was perfect.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more. I was nervous that I wouldn’t feel safe with the pond in the backyard and kids playing in the pool but it was awesome. Our son fished from the dock, we all four played in the pool and we walked to the beach every day. The house was bright and clean and there was a bedroom for everyone. Check in and out was super easy and the living spaces in the house were perfect for hanging out as a family. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.

Wonderful place to stay

My family stayed here the first week of July and had the absolute best time! The house is super clean and is in a great location, literally 2 short blocks from the beach. We drove down by golf cart some but walked most of the time. The house has beach chairs, a small umbrella, pool noodles, boogie boards, etc! Good starter kitchen items and beach towels. The house is in a great location, quiet street, close to a basketball court, restaurants, shops, etc. I would say the ONLY con was the poor water pressure in the kitchen sink, only the kitchen, it made doing dishes a bit time consuming. We would definitely stay here again though!

overall we enjoyed our vacation as it was a beautiful setting however we will never rent a VACASA property again. their call centers are decent however local management and follow up are poor. Will be reaching out to the local management soon to get some much needed resolution. we have rented numerous times on the island and have never had such an issue.

Very clean and good location

This was one of the cleanest homes we have stayed in. It was perfect for our family of 5. Bathrooms are great. The pool is a plus for sure. We spent a lot of time in it. The pond out back is great too. We took fishing rods. Didn't have any luck, but it was fun trying. Saw a big turtle come out of the pond a few times and a rather large iguana as well. We rented a golf cart and pretty much took that to wherever we went. Beach access off 71st St. is a 3 minute walk and the beach is great. We went down most nights for the sunset. Would definitely stay at this home again if on Anna Maria.

Very poor service

They were five or six things that went wrong during the stay. Each time I contacted the renting company there was no response for days from the local affiliate. Which was very disappointing having to wait around for somebody to respond back to a concern or a problem with the property I had. Was not a very good experience at all

The house was nice. Lots of steps and trouble with the Spectrum remote. Not a lot of Beach or pool accessories. Biggest disappointment was we were booked for a house that had no steps and lots of accessories. Had to change due to "bugs" 10 days before trip. Not a lot of choices available at that time.

Great place close to beach

Clean bright beach home walking distance to beach and trolly. Really enjoyed our stay. Beach chairs and supplies were showing age so we rented stuff but it’s understandable seeing as they were kept outside. Place has beach wagon which was super helpful though!! Plenty of parking for car and golf cart that we rented. Would rent here again.

Perfect for our family of 5!

This house was the perfect location and perfect set up for our family of 5! The beach was just a 2 minute golf-cart drive away. The restaurants and shops were just a few minutes away as well...so happy we chose to rent a golf cart as this is how we got around for the week. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the pool while small, served as a nice cool off from the heat. We would stay here again for sure!

OK stay with vacasa

Upon arrival to the property we noticed a number of random things that seemed out of place (bbq cover off and on the outside lounging chairs, hose in the pool, beach chair broken, garburator broken, lipstick stains and crud on clean wine glasses and utensils, film around master shower tub drain). I contacted the property management company through text as that is how they initiated a conversation and was told someone would follow up in the coming days. Randomly on day 3 or 4 a maintenance crew member showed up to the door at dinner time to “fix our list of issues”. We let him know we cleaned up everything else (reluctantly) but that the garburator was still broken. He came in and fixed it while we were away but never didn’t hear anything from the management company about the other issues ……. Mid stay the pool maintenance crew showed up unannounced with loud equipment and proceeded to clean the yard and pool while we went inside for a snack. After explaining to the crew that we weren’t checking out for another 3 days and that our children were sleeping inside, they left without a fuss. I then sent a message to the property management crew asking them to follow up about the unexpected visit since this wasn’t acceptable either and never heard a word back. STILL. Overall the rental was OK… I think it’s hard to have a bad time on this island but the price tag didn’t exactly line up with quality of the home or service. Also side note: the lot next door appears to be starting construction on a new build in the upcoming weeks (lots of activity next door, large trucks/ noises)…. Let’s just say I would have been a VERY unhappy customer if we were vacationing next to that for 10 days. Who wouldn’t be ?

Great Location!

Loved the location. A block to the beach access with parking. Close enough to pine but far enough away on a quiet calm street. Pool is great. Would rent again

Great neighborhood. New and well equipped. Only 1 1/2 blocks to the gulf. The private pool was a hit with the grandkids👍

Special memories

We enjoyed this house two blocks from the beach. Quiet location in a residential area. The kitchen had most things you needed. The pool was great for our two grandchildren. It worked well for our family of six. I gave it 4 stars because I think the mattresses need some updating. The dining area could use some comfortable seating as well. But we would still come back and another occasion!!
