Dieses spektakuläre Mietobjekt ist eine natürliche Oase aus einer geschäftigen Welt und dennoch für viele der beliebten Touristenziele im Nordwesten Michigans zugänglich. Das Haus bietet bequem Platz für bis zu 10 Personen. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist ein Dachboden mit Blick auf den See mit Kingsize-Bett und eigenem Bad. Die Hauptebene verfügt über 2 private Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten und 1 Gemeinschaftsbad. Die fertige untere Ebene des Hauses verfügt über einen privaten Schlafraum für Kinder und eine ausziehbare Couch mit Queensize-Bett im Unterhaltungsraum mit Vollbad auf dieser Ebene.

Vom Hauptwohnbereich und der geräumigen Terrasse mit Picknicktisch und Gartenmöbeln genießen Sie Seeblick. Great family vacation

We had a really great family vacation. The location was perfect for exploring different beaches and hikes. The home was well stocked and including beach towels was a huge plus. It was easy for us to settle in for the week. Thank you for opening your cottage to us.

Excellent location on Platte Lake

We loved our stay on Platte Lake. The backyard beach and dock were great for our family. The owners were quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our arrival. Being able to dock our boat right in the back yard was a huge plus for us. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Great fishing location

We caught a bunch of bass and perch from the dock, we were super close to a lot of great Lake Michigan beaches, and for floating down the Platte river.

Annual Up-North

Very nice home on Big Platte Lake. We enjoyed the lake, nearby Frankfort,and the firepit down by the water. Nice to be somewhere different (than Glen Arbor). Owners provide nice additional amenities -- beach towels, water shoes, kayaks and a row boat. They were very responsive and helpful during our stay. We would stay there again.

Fun on Platte Lake

The family had a great time at Wha'Cha Dune! Property was clean and had everything we needed. We liked the downstairs area, the beach and neighbors were nice too. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful lake house

We had the best family vacation at this home! The view was perfect, the lake was delightful, and the neighbors were friendly. We were able to rent a pontoon boat and enjoy tubing and fishing. Overall, a very relaxing week, and we would recommend this home to rent. Well stocked with cooking necessities, plenty of towels and personal care items.The general location was very good, close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, and Frankfort. The owners even left a treat bag for us upon arrival!

This property and experience was the best we have ever had. We have been coming to Big Platte for over 30 years. The place was incredible and so well stocked. The owners were so responsive and nice. I could go on and on but just trust me when I say it was a wonderful vacation.

Great place!

This is a wonderful property. Perfect location on the lake with all the necessary amenities. It is quite spacious and comfortable with something for everyone. The owners were terrific to work with and always responded quickly to any questions. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation time which ended all too soon.

We had some family up for our 50 th anniversary and all had a great time. Fire pit is in a perfect location and the yard quite large. The location is great with plenty to do in all directions! The house has a great floor plan and has plenty of room. It is also stocked very well

Wonderful family vacation up north

This was our second time renting this home. We loved the location as it felt private yet was near the places we like to visit when we go up north. The weather was perfect for enjoying outdoor activities during our stay but the home was well stocked with books, games and a large television (which we never turned on!!) for rainy days. We hope to visit again!

This is truly an outstanding property on Platte Lake! We have stayed at many different properties over 40+ years, and this rates as good as we’ve had. The owners were responsive, the house was perfect for our family- 6 adults and 5 little ones- 7-11 yrs old The house size, deck, back yard, beach, and dock all fit our needs to make it a wonderful vacation- we’ll be back!

Platte Lake Paradise

Beautiful property. Perfect fit for my family! The hosts had a well stocked home. Toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath towels, lovely sheets, you name it, whatcha dune had it! Just bring your bathing suits and you’re all set. The kitchen was a bit tight, since 5 out of 7 of us like to cook! But we managed. Close to Lake Michigan for beautiful sunsets, nearby Riverside for canoeing out to the lake, and close to Traverse City and Frankfort for some shopping and good food. We all had a blast from ages 6-74!

Family vacation

This location was wonderful. He provided us with great weather. And I almost caught the biggest fish in my life. We had a wonderful time. Took use of the kayaks and fishing equipment frequently.Towards the end of the week we had some issues with the iron in the water staining clothes. Highly recommend this house. I wouldn’t hesitate in a second to go back

Best Place we have stayed on Platte Lake

We had an awesome week at "What' cha Dune"!!! From the minute we walked in the door and were greeted by a sweet "Welcome gift bag" the accommodations were endless!!! we have stayed many places on Platte Lake for the last 25 years, so I am used to packing up on house hold items that are never provided by the Renters for our week, BUT this Rental has been the BEST we have experienced! So gracious with sharing everything we need to have fun on the beach & lake, and the kitchen & Bedrooms were awesome!! Cant say enough good things! WE WILL BE BACK!! :)

Great time on Platte Lake

Wonderful property managers who were responsive to all of our questions. Thank you for sharing your well-equipped, comfortable lake house that had everything needed to make a great vacation. We had a wonderful time on Platte Lake and love the location on the cove. Having the use of the kayaks, life jackets, beach towels and all of the other amenities was a plus! The dock and sandy beach made it easy to access the water and we enjoyed kayaking and swimming. One of the days, we rented canoes from Riverside and canoed down the Platte River to Lake Michigan. We also rented a pontoon boat from MacDonald’s Marina in Frankfort and it was very convenient because they delivered the boat by water and put in a mooring right by the dock. We had a great week and will be back!

Perfect lake house

Me, my husband, adult kids and sister in law stayed here for 4 nights and had a terrific time. Everything was perfect - the location, accommodations and especially the beautiful lake with private dock and small sandy beach. We were all happily surprised how well stocked the house was. You only need to bring clothes and food. We used the row boat, kayaks and fishing gear. There was even a goody bag for us. Any time I reached out to owners I quickly got a response back. We had a small emergency before we left for our trip and the owners were so kind and understanding by accommodating our special request. The home was immaculate too. Do not hesitate to rent this place!! You will love it.

Wow! Just simply Wow!

This week couldn’t have been better. My family (me, my wife, kids 11 & 6) had the best time we could have asked for. The house is very well appointed, having many things most rentals don’t include (linens, beach towels, fishing equipment, kayaks, and too many more to list). It was more like visiting a relative’s house as opposed to renting a stranger’s. The area was quiet, very different than the north side of the lake with the numerous resorts. Our 11 year old has special needs, and often needs a few days to get used to a new environment, but she was comfortable the first night. The only thing that could have made this a better time away is knowing it’s available again for next year’s vacation!

Beautiful lakeside home

We love being on the water. It's a must for our trips for Michigan. Normally we stay on one of Glen Lakes but nothing was available on the water so we tried a new lake this time. We like to be able to swim, paddle board, kayak, bike or run right outside our door and this place was great for that. Loved having use of the owners 3 kayaks! The home had great accommodations for our family of 6. Much more modern than the cabins we are used to staying in. The only negative was that the owners of both houses on either side of us were having reunions of some sort the whole week with people camping on their property and cars all along the street. They weren't obnoxious and were actually very friendly but wasn't quite the quiet getaway we are used to. We found lots of great places to eat in spite of pandemic. Some still only do take out but most have dine in. Also close access to Platte River tubing/kayaking and a great multipurpose trail in Beulah. Overall great family vacation

We love northern Michigan so much and especially the area around Big Platte Lake. Matt grew up vacationing on Big Platte so it’s very special to be able to return and continue the tradition. MaryBeth grew up primarily in Traverse City and enjoys spending time with family when up north. Our careers have taken us outside the state for the time being but look forward to every minute we get to spend "Up North".
