Bei der Ankunft werden die Gäste von einem beleuchteten Gang vor der Haustür begrüßt. Das Wohnzimmer mit neuen Sofas und Leihbibliothek ist der perfekte Ort, um ein Buch zwischen dem Flicker des Propankamins zu lesen. Eine gewölbte Decke verbindet das Wohnzimmer und die Küche miteinander. Am Morgen steht die Sonne über dem See und gibt dem Küchentisch den besten Ort, um den Sonnenaufgang über dem Taylorsville Lake zu beobachten. Ein Flur führt zum Hauptbad und Gästeschlafzimmer. Das Gästezimmer verfügt über einen 32-Zoll-TV, zwei Einzelbetten und ein Ausziehbett. Das Schlafzimmer und seine Atmosphäre der Romantik verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit einer Badewanne. Aus dem Schlafzimmer ist eine große 20 mal 14 ft-Deck mit einem Whirlpool. Vom ersten Deck ein Step-Down zu einem zweiten 10 von 14ft Deck mit einem Liebesgleiter und Picknicktisch. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den See von Taylorsville und die sanften Hügel.

Anniversary getaway

Just a weekend getaway for our anniversary, this place has been everything we needed and more. Its super clean, peaceful, and relaxing. This house has everything you need to feel lik home away from home. Highly recommend for coupkes as a nice quiet getaway to reset from the daily hustle and bustle of lofe.

Great Spring Getaway

Beautiful cabin! We’ve stayed at Edgewater Resort before, but this cabin was beautiful, clean and comfortable! It had everything you need and made you feel special, Especially loved the grill, fire pit, and hot tub. We can’t wait to get back this fall!

Wonderful Place

Let me start by saying we will stay here again when in Bourbon Country. The location was peaceful and safe. The house was a "home". We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck overlooking the water and have some wine in the evenings. The Christmas decorations in the house were great. We had dinner at the house every night. The kitchen was well equipped. The place was clean. Beds were comfortable. Toni is a wonderful host. Response on any questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. Thank you for sharing your place.

Getway

We decided to get away for a few days and explore the bourbon trail. Cottage is in a gated community. It was very private and quiet. Beautiful trees with a peekaboo view of lake. We had deer grazing within 10 ft of deck. Cottage was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Just a word of warning….it is in a small town and you will need to drive to get anything beyond basics. It was perfect for the two of us.

Beautiful Lake House!

This house is just as advertised. Beautiful home that is clean and spacious with everything you need for a great getaway. Great communication with the owner and easy check in/out. Beds, pillows and linens were super comfy. The resort pool was right around the corner and it was clean and not crowded. Could not have asked for a better place to stay in the area. I highly recommend this home and we will definitely be back!

Great vacation stay

The property was well kept in a safe resort with gated entry to community. My family and I used this as a central location to visit Mammoth Cave, Louisville area, and Ark encounter. My wife was very appreciative of the extra details including available salt, pepper, and other amenities. The property manager was really easy to communicate with. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the area. Even though we didn’t use it, the lake looked amazing too and I’m sure would be a great lake get away.

Fantastic Place

This was an absolutely amazing place for our family getaway! Toni has thought of any and everything you could possibly need while away from home. Everything was clean and updated. Weekend of Fun on the Bourbon Trail

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised, very clean and spacious. We loved spending time on the back deck and hot tub. Perfect spot centrally located for Bourbon trail stops

We so enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons! It was the perfect spot for a kid-free getaway, but we could have easily had both the kids here and enjoyed the property just as much. It was so clean and well-organized and had everything you could think of for a comfortable and convenient stay. We especially appreciated the complementary variety of coffee and creamer which kept us from having to find coffee shops out of necessity. It was a close enough and GORGEOUS drive to all the spots we visited. If we are in this area again, I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again at all.

The place was wonderful for our two sets of couples! Everything was nicely set up and decorated. Everything we needed was available. The owner was very communicative and helpful with suggestions and anything we might need to know ahead of time. We had a great time, and if we ever come back, we'll stay here again!

In 2017, The Weitz Family of Dayton, Ohio; joined the Edgewater Community as the owners of Cottage 37. Carpenters by trade; remodelers by default, they locally own NB Weitz Contracting in Dayton. Armed with an arsenal of skilled trades they commenced work on the cabin starting with the four-season theme. The wall hangings were chosen to mirror Kentucky’s beautiful hills, Derby culture, and the water of Taylorsville Lake.

We first vacationed at Edgewater in 2008 and returned many times to enjoy Taylorsville Lake, the Bourbon Trail, and the peacefulness of the area. We have enjoyed all seasons Edgewater and appreciated the differences in activities and beauty of the area. When we decided to purchase our own cottage at Edgewater, we were reminded of all the visits and the differences that the seasons brought to the area. Hence, our "Four Seasons" theme was born.

The mood has been set at Cottage 37 by the private owners who wanted a place to escape near a large underdeveloped lake. Recently renovated the interior designers paid tribute to its Kentucky Heritage from the hardware to the lighting. The door handles are unique canova knobbed black edged oil rubbed bronze; and its corresponding fixtures give homage to an old log cabin tucked away in the hills. To further the agenda of creating the perfect vacation environment dark colors of the new furnishings are used to accent the natural oak stained wood. Each light fixture promotes a different mood depending on its utility.

Upon arrival guests are welcomed by a lighted walkway up to the front door. The living room with new couches and lending library is the perfect place to read a book amongst the Flicker of the propane fireplace. A vaulted ceiling ties the living room and kitchen together. In the morning the sun rises over the lake giving the kitchen table the best place to watch the sunrise over Taylorsville Lake. A hallway leads to the main bathroom and guest bedroom. The guest bedroom has a 32-inch TV, a queen sized bed, and one trundle bed. The master bedroom and its atmosphere of romance has an ensuite bathroom with a soak tub. Off the master bedroom is a large 20 by 14 ft deck with a Hot Tub. From the first deck a step-down to a second 10 by 14 ft deck with a love glider and picnic table. The view from the deck overlooks Taylorsville Lake and the rolling hills.
