Summer Vacay

Close location and easy access to the beach but very crowded location. The layout of the place was nice, very run down. Broken windows, riches nd ants. Visible trash stains from leaks. Sticky not mopped floors. Sand I can expect. Air conditioning worked great. Needs a deep cleaning and some TLC to make it worth the cost. There are better places that are more appropriately priced.

Thank goodness the heat worked! Great place

We came for a friends reunion at the beach but mother nature had different plans with freezing temps but the heater worked great in our place. And it was large enough we could play games inside and watch movies.

Celebrating a special bday

We had a great time celebrating my brothers bday at this house! It was super spacious, very conveniently located next to the beach & the proximity to Jackfish cart rentals was perfect- btw we also ordered pizzas& snowcones from Jackfish. We spent a few nights sitting by the pool & the weather was amazing not as hot and zero mosquitos! Only minor issue were that the bedsheets weren’t super comfortable. We will definitely be back to this property. All of our inquiries were promptly responded to which was greatly appreciated!

They were probably looking for water. We killed the ones we found. The plug out the back door doesn't work, and the water pressure in the unit was very low. Not sure if there is a water limiter in the faucets so there isn't so much water being used. It was very hard to rinse off or wash your hair.

Nice job lace, no closets to hang clothes.

Only problem was the toilet in downstairs bedroom. It was sticking or leaking, boys big problem but had to take cover off to flush.

Nice place!

We had 9 adults and two kids( 3&1). Rooms were a little tight, but lots of space in living/ dining areas for us all to be. Easy access to beach as it is located just off an access road, you could walk , but it’s a little bit of a hike with all the beach things and kids. Overall, nice little place to be after the beach and no issues with any neighbors!

Very disappointing - read to save yourself

When we first pulled up, we weren't sure what to expect. When we opened the door to the house, we thought the decor was really well done. We immediately noticed sand was all over the floors. We swept it up but also noticed when we walked in it was very hot. The air seemed low enough so we called maintenance. They came over and said they made some changes and it should feel better. The entire four days we were there some rooms were cooler than others but downstairs was very hot. One of the nights we didn't sleep at all. Every day we also had to kill roaches. We didn't realize when we booked this that you would have to bring your own toilet paper sponges dish, soap, etc. They give you a starter set but after that it's on you. We even needed to bring our own garbage bags so we had to go to the store to get these items. Some of the bathrooms didn't have garbage cans upstairs so we ended up having to bring each bit of garbage down on our own. And there were no blow dryers throughout the house. We also had to go and buy paper plates and utensils. I had read reviews from a few years back that people complained about that and they said it would be taken care of, but obviously 2 to 3 years later it's still the same. There was one pan to cook on, but nothing else. This is definitely the motel six of houses in Port A.

Nice spot with bathrooms for every room

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and it was nice having a bathroom in each room. The rooms are small and space is limited. Kitchen was good but could use a few more pots and pans. Would have been nice to have something to clean counters with. Location was great.

Property was clean and ready for us upon arrival.The only issue we had was not with the unit, but the community pool area. First, the property description states "This spectacular new property offers a resort style pool with palapa and grills for your use." There are no grills by the pool. They only grill was a kettle grill at the unit. Second, when we attempted to use the pool our second day there, the pool was full of debris, including paper, beer and soda cans and a lot of tree bark and branches. The filter was clogged as it was full of debris as well. There was a very strong wind on Wednesday which may have been the cause of some of the debris in the pool, but when we left on Friday, the pool still had not been cleaned.As I stated in the opening, the property itself was as advertised and we would stay there again, I just hope the description is updated and the pool is clean.

Great House for a Big Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is a gem for a big family. There are three bedrooms that can each sleep two adults or kids. There’s also bunk room for four kids. Plus a “game” room near the bunk room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there’s an additional half bath by the kitchen. The dining area has an enormous square table that seats 12. There is a pool with a covered area one house down. The house is conveniently located within walking distance or a short drive to a golf cart rental and cute shop. Plus the Texan convenient store is a block away, where you can grab donuts and breakfast tacos. The maintenance crew is also very responsive. Great place!!
