Overbooked & Rude

Our host never provided check-in information and didn't respond to our message inquiry. We had stayed previously, so we used the same instructions. We woke up the next morning to a man rattling the door handle trying to get in. The whole morning was then spent with various people coming and going and putting the host on speaker phone while she accused us of not having a reservation. First she said we canceled, then acknowledged we had a previous booking, but weren't booked currently. I asked for the wifi password, as there is no service at the property, so I could provide our confirmation information, but she continued to talk over me. Our morning (and attempts to quietly enjoy the wildlife were ruined). They apparently had overbooked and had other guests scheduled to stay in our room. I believe those guests were redirected to a loft space. I don't know about the other guests, but we have received no apology or compensation. It was a very expensive property which we booked well in advance. We were very disappointed with the experience and will not be returning.

Wonderful Cabin Experience!

A wonderfully cozy cabin-vibe in a fantastic location. We love and appreciate that they also welcomed our 4-legged family members and we all had a wonderful stay. The unit was even larger in person than we expected from the photographs. The bed was EXTREMELY comfy and the area was very quiet resulting in a fantastic night's sleep. Late/contact-less check-in and check out were a breeze. We wish we had been able to stay longer. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect spot

We picked this location to go winetasting. It was the perfect spot. However, when the temperatures reached 100° we were only 30 minutes away from Cambria and Cayucos to enjoy the beach in the cooler weather. The room is very well appointed with all the things you need for a comfortable stay and to make any meals for yourself if you want. Very relaxing to sit out on the porch and listen to nature. A must repeat stay for us.

Duplex/ Upstairs Neighbors- Nice Property but Noisy

The unit is very nicely designed and is comfortable except for upstairs noise from neighbors. We are ready for bed by 10pm but each of our 3 nights the upstairs neighbors were up late and were banging around loudly above our heads. Expect to eat your meals out. The kitchen " looks" like a full kitchen but it has a very small refrigerator and essentially no way to cook a meal. There is no cook top surface or toaster oven. There is no ice maker in the unit. You need to buy it at Trader Joe's down the road and keep it in an ice chest. We learned this when we asked the owner for ice and she brought us a small bowl for us to use to have a cold drink. The bed is comfortable, the floors are beautifully done and you can watch the wild turkeys and birds across the dry creek. The location is close to many wineries and it has a real country feel. We read many references to this being a Bed and Breakfast. There is no meal served to the guests, probably because of Covid restrictions. It feels like what used to be a wonderful and beautiful resort has been ignored and let go a little. Things are a bit worn out. The grounds are not maintained like in the photos. It was OK but we will not be returning.

Couldn't ask for more!

Loved every moment at Creekside. Location and hospitality couldn't be better. Should point out that if you can't do steps, this charming property might not be the one for you as you have to climb about 5 steps to the bathroom. We'd return instantly. Hated to go home!

I’m ready to go back

This little barn house is an OAISIS. Our pup loved it. The best is honestly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in - they even sell the sheets!! (I regret not purchasing them). The moment I walked into the little house I said “I could live here forever.” The fireplace is a little tricky to use but other than that it’s perfect. I truly am counting the days until we can return.

Getaway during pandemic

It’s been a stressful year working from home and a getaway is exactly what we needed. My wife and I loved the property. The location is barn on the outside, cabin on the inside. Each morning we saw deer on the other side of the creek. Amy provided some excellent suggestions for wine tasting. All around a great weekend getaway.

Relaxing and great location

A beautiful stay near the hilly, west side wineries of Paso Robles. Easy drive to town but you get the serenity of the countryside. The property was well maintained and the bed super comfy. The owners were very responsive and helpful with recommendations but also gave you your space. Will definitely come again

Cozy Cabin in Paso Robles

My wife and I stayed at the Creekside Room and were impressed by the cozy ambiance of the property. Even more impressive was the hospitality of our hosts. Amy was attentive and gracious. Wifi was a bit spotty and cellular service was almost non-existent. However, we had a great time and our experience was exactly what we needed. In fact, the lack of cellular service meant we REALLY could unplug and relax for the weekend (per Amy, the cellular problem is temporary and the cell tower is being relocated to ensure better service). Overall, the property is rustic but very cozy and comfortable. I look forward to future stays at the Creekside Inn in Paso Robles and won't hesitate to recommend it to my family and friends. Private get-away

Tom and Amy were lovely hosts and very accommodating! We loved the property - very quiet and quaint. Loved the fire pit and outdoor sitting area. We would have loved a hot pad to make breakfast. Overall, great stay with excellent hosts. We will definitely come back!

Rest and Relaxation

Beautiful setting, room was cozy, rustic and totally awesome! Don't expect internet connection (wifi was spotty) or easy cell service...this it total peace and quiet, and relaxing. Can't wait to go back, sit on the porch, read a book and drink some wine!

Peace and Quiet - be ready to unplug

The Creekside room was pleasant and comfortable. We mostly wanted it to be quiet as we were escaping from July 4th fireworks with our dog, and it definitely met our needs. The outdoor space is lovely and we never heard a sound but the running of the creek. Inside there is a nice King-sized bed and comfy couch, our only disappointment was that the WiFi was basically nonexistent. I did report this to the owner the first day and she was kind and willing to help, but it didn't seem like there was much to be done about it as it was a holiday. We had planned on watching movies and Netflix so we brought our AppleTV with us, but the lack of WiFi made it impossible. The TV itself is super small and mounted in the kitchen, so even if we had been able to get a good signal, it wouldn't have been a great viewing experience anyway. That was the only downfall to this place, if you're looking for modern technology you might want to look elsewhere. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a place to unplug, this is it!
