Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Countless visits to Mother Maui over the last 20 years has been a gift. Many stays in Wailea as well as at The Grand Champions before, in a different unit, so knew the location was convenient. However, unit 139 sits with its patio, living room and master bedroom to the tennis courts of the tennis club. The sound of balls hitting rackets starts a little after 7am and continues to sunset. You’re not able to have a quiet morning, enjoy meals or book reading on the patio or have the sliding glass door open. In addition the condo is extremely cluttered, not clean, with a non working shower head, dryer and ice maker. Decor over load. Cabinets, drawers, bedrooms and patio are crammed with furniture, old decor and owners items. Little closet space for guests. This unit is in need of a deep cleaning. Shutter doors and furniture are filthy with buildup. Sadly our time at this condo didn’t offer a relaxing quiet vacation space. Felt like we were in a storage unit in the middle of a tennis club.

Disappointing

The updated kitchen & baths are really nice. The location is great and the floor plan is perfect, but this place needs some deep cleaning. First of all, I have never seen so much clutter in a rental. There are fake plants, too much furniture, wall decor, and knick knacks everywhere so the dust collection is pretty gross. When the fans and AC are on it flies everywhere. The louvered doors throughout the unit are in desperate need of cleaning. The amount of dirt, grime, and splatters/drips on them is gross. The door of the oven was caked with dried grease and food. I couldn’t use the oven without trying to clean the food off. The lanai is hot and crowded. The unit is dark and hard to move around because there’s way too much furniture. I understand wanting to protect furniture, but the table runners on top of the dressers are gross and dirty. The slip covered couch needs cleaning (stains) and/or updating (pretty saggy) as do the beds. There’s a topper on the king, but it’s likely there because the mattress needs to be replaced. The top rack of the dishwasher is broken. There’s no remote for the ac in the living room. In order to access it manually, I had to move a table and plant because it’s so overcrowded. There’s no map of the complex so I had to wander around to find the two very small pools. All in all, my expectations for Wailea were higher, so I was disappointed. The good thing was we didn’t spend a ton of time in the unit so it didn’t really affect the fun we had.

Regarding the nick knacks it is a home, we do not try to hide this and tried to capture the essence of the home in our photo's. May of the items you brought up are clearly visible in the online pictures. Many people find it enduring and being you booked online we thought you knew what you were getting when it came to that part. In an effort to be more eco conscience we moved to a digital map that is available to down load to your phone via the QR code. The digital map we actually created ourselves and has more detail than the one provided by the association.

Home away from Home....

Very well appointed, neat, clean. Kitchen knives either need sharpened or a real knife sharpener (the steel in the knife block is a joke). The king mattress is starting to collapse to the outside so you roll towards the edge, just sleep in the middle. Did run into a couple of our little brown bruddahs in the bathroom but they will always come with ground floor unit bathrooms. Only thing missing was a sunny lanai and a view. Very nice place. Enjoyed our time with you!

This property was really great and definitely had the Hawaiian vibe. The king size bed was very comfortable, but the second bedroom beds (the two twins) weren’t the best. Sheets were very good though and overall, we would stay in this spot again.

Great Condo! Great Location!

Super cute and clean condo. Updated all throughout. Walking distance from Wailea beach. Beach supplies - chairs and towels - were very thoughtful to be included! The complex is very lush and green, with tennis courts and swimming pools. The whole checkin/chekout process was seamless and smooth. We really enjoyed it and hope to come back again soon

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great. We always enjoy staying at Grand Champions as it is a quick walk to several great beaches and is in a quiet spot. The beds were comfortable and the unit is very quiet. This unit faces the tennis club but the hedge of bushes makes it very private. We ate our meals on the lanai every day.The floors in this unit are tile making it easy to keep clean and cool to walk on. Well set up kitchen with a newer stove and refrigerator but note that we didn't find a coffee grinder (bring ground coffee) The unit was very clean. CBI did a great job managing the rental.

Quiet Maui Oasis with everything Aloha!

Given the payment for cleaning was higher than most rentals I viewed; my expectations of its cleanliness was set high. Not anything a bit of communication wouldn't fix. I treated the condo as if it was my home and needed to clean a few things I found less than what was expected of me as a renter. Putting all this behind because I was on vacation... I communicated with management to let them know.The hosts decor and available items were beyond perfect. But,they may not know that the house keepers were not doing a complete job.Hopefully the few things that I would suggest are taken well. It can be ia simple communication error or follow up of one's work.I have had three people ask of my rental already. I just think someone needs to watch over the one's that clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This 2/2 condo is the perfect fit for any family. We were a family of 3. Both bedrooms have its own bathroom and A/C unit. The layout flows very nicely. Convenient to walk to get coffee in the morning at Akamai or down to the Shops at Wailea. We loved it here and would come back anytime.

Maui Wedding Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to Maui for friends' wedding and had a wonderful time. The rental was largely as described, clean, and well-maintained. On the fourth day of our stay, we noticed a hot water problem. I called property management and they were on it immediately and had it fixed promptly. Besides the wedding and all the activities surrounding it, I can say that our lunch at Monkeypod was extraordinary. Breakfast a Five Palms was excellent as well. It's true what they say -- there's nothing like a Mai Tai in the islands. We also were at the beach at sunrise two consecutive days to watch the whales. We were rewarded with an amazing show. I can't wait to come back!
