Wir haben unser Zuhause so gestaltet, dass es für alle geeignet ist, die sich im wunderschönen Norden von San Diego entspannen möchten. Diese Eigenschaft ist ein sehr einzigartiges tropisches Paradies mit einem eigenen kleinen Teich zum Kanufahren oder Angeln, einem Tennisplatz, einem Pool und einem Spa. Alle innerhalb weniger Minuten zu den besten Stränden, Sehenswürdigkeiten, der Küche und den Handwerksbetrieben, die San Diego zu bieten hat.

I rented this home for my family to gather from various parts of the country to celebrate my grandmother's 92nd birthday who lives in Carlsbad. I was hoping that it was at least remotely like the photos. I must say it far exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful property and the host Kathleen was absolutely wonderful. Pool, hot tub, lake, paddle boat, fishing, tennis court...all private. I highly recommend and we will definitely be booking again in the future.

Great weekend getaway

We stayed at the bamboo lakehouse house for the weekend with friends and young kids. There was so much to do! We enjoyed the variety of activities offered- swimming, basketball, pickleball, paddle boating on the lake, ping pong, and so much more! Thanks for making our entire stay smooth and enjoyable!

We had an INCREDIBLE time! I'm a Vista local whose friends were coming into town, and felt like I was a world away in this little hidden gem. Driving into the narrow, wooded driveway immediately transports you to what feels like your own private oasis. We enjoyed nearly all the amenities: went out on the lake, swam in the pool, said hi to the chickens alongside the tennis court, our kids played in the playhouse, we BBQd and made s'mores over the firepit. The Bamboo lake house had everything our little families needed and MORE! We are already talking about coming back for another weekend. I can't recommend this place enough!

Could not have picked a better spot!

This beautiful gem of a home was exactly what our family needed for a getaway. It felt like we were far away from home. We fit 3 families with small children and the owner gave us privacy & access to the entire property. We didn’t have to leave for any reason. I highly recommend!

Nana’s birthday slumber party

There was something for each of our family of 9, ages 6 through 71 to enjoy while staying the Bamboo House. The house is spacious and well equipped. The grounds are mature and maintained well. Everyone enjoyed time at the lake. The hosts graciously provided everything you didn’t even know you would need. If you are looking to build some core memories you will find them here.

Very Fun Property!

This property is beautiful. It's in the heart of Vista but you feel like you are on an Island Paradise secluded from everyone. Yet you can get to dozens of restaurants, bars and fun activities within minutes from the property. We had our family there, including 3 children under 5. There are lots of fun activities and toys/games for the young ones. Huge Fire Pit and gas grill. The best was the fishing. Our 5 year old grandaughter caught her first fish there on our first night. We loved using the paddle boat on the lake. We will definitely come back!

Vacationer Beware!! Do not stay here!!

Arrived and left as soon as we could! Property not as advertised and misleading. Pool and home are not private! Rental is a single home split in two and pool is surrounded by owners side. Pictures are ancient and do not depict what you are actually renting! Lake/pond over grown like a swap. Advertised playhouse/structure was dilapidated and unsafe for use. House was filthy. Could go on and on, but you get the idea. Don’t stay here!

Wow Clara, We have had hundreds of people stay here. Most say this five star property is beyond their expectations. Many have come back time and time again. It is disturbing that you could view it so differently. The healthy spring fed lake is home to many fish, birds, turtles and frogs. The only changes we have had since the pics were taken are the palm trees are bigger and so are the lovely lily pads. We also keep updating our linens. Also we got a nicer ping pong table and outside furniture. Our cleaning team is top notch and the owner does a walk through before every reservation. You DID NOT leave actually. You stayed and left our house absolutely filthy. You had time to let us know you weren’t happy, yet you never said a word, as you wrecked our home. Yes, your home was for your personal use, pool, lake, tennis court. We do live next door, but you would rarely see one of us. You were wrong on the privacy issue. Your dishonesty is troubling. Read our past reviews and go on Clara’s bio and read hers. It will show you how things really are.

Fun, Relaxing and Wonderful

This place has beautiful tropical landscaping, lots of places to spread out (if desired). It was amazing. Great privacy and serenity. We played group ping pong (laughed our butts off), swam in pool, fished, sat by the fire pit and used the boats. Wonderful place for our family reunion (4 generations). :)

Wonderful local get-away for two families

We wanted to go somewhere close to home for a short get away and this house was perfect! Between two families, four kids ages 6-9 had the time of their lives. The lake is beautiful and we caught five fish! They loved swimming in the spa and pool, and the tennis court was great too. Beds were extremely comfortable as well. Would recommend to anyone, especially families!

Great place!!!!

This was an amazing place to stay. Beach nearby, lake and pool on property. Had something for all. The only down side was the air conditioning couldn’t cool the house past 78 degrees during the day.

BambooLake House is a win!

Hands down probably the best Vacation rental we’ve stayed at. We had so much fun using the paddle boat, kayak, and canoes in the private little lake. My boys 6&12 also loved fishing and the great pool. It was a wonderful vacation, everyone wants to come back 😃

Great July 4 weekend
