Willkommen bei Appalachian Breeze

Flucht nach Appalachian Breeze. Die Eigentümer haben diese Kabine im Sommer 2015 umgebaut und modernisiert. Sie haben das Haus mit gehobenen, aber komfortablen Möbeln, Berg- und Alpendekor und gehobenen Ausführungen ausgestattet.

Dieses zweistöckige Haus verfügt auf jeder Etage über eine geräumige Mastersuite. Es gibt eine Queen Master Suite im Erdgeschoss mit HD Smart TV, ein eigenes Badezimmer mit Fliesenböden, einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank, eine große Duschkabine und einen Whirlpool neben einem Fenster mit Blick auf den Berg Aussicht. Eine große Kingsize-Suite im ersten Stock verfügt über einen HD-Smart-TV mit erweiterten digitalen Kabelprogrammen, ein eigenes Badezimmer mit übergroßer Dusche und einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank.

Das offene Esszimmer verfügt über einen Massivholztisch, der Platz für bis zu 8 Personen bietet und direkt in eine Küche mit Küchenzeile mit maßgefertigten Schränken, Edelstahlgeräten und einer einzigartigen Kaffeebar mit einer Korbkaffeemaschine und einem Keurig übergeht.

Gehen Sie auf die überdachte Terrasse und genießen Sie die Aussicht von den Schaukelstühlen. Möglicherweise hören Sie sogar ein fernes Dampfpfeifen von Tweetsie Railroad, während es durch die Berge rollt. Das Deck bietet auch Platz für 4 Personen, um Mahlzeiten im Freien zu genießen. Gehen Sie auf die überdachte Terrasse auf der unteren Ebene, um den Whirlpool zu genießen oder den privaten Garten mit Holzkohlegrill und die Holzfeuergrube zu betreten. Es gibt auch eine Sitzgelegenheit neben dem Haus, die die Gäste genießen können.

Das Skigebiet Appalachian Ski Resort befindet sich nur 500 m von der Straße entfernt. Gehen oder fahren Sie, um Skifahren, Snowboarden oder Eislaufen zu genießen.

Nice get away

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The cabin was in a perfect location just 10 min drive to downtown Blowing Rock and 2 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was clean and cozy. Some of the finishes were a little outdated. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. We had a wonderful time. The views from the back porch were amazing.

Overall we had a great time. Plenty of room for family of four. Ping pong table was a hit. Attempted 1000 piece puzzle, played uno and board games. 10 year old was super excited to see a Xbox but never had the opportunity to play. Appalachian Breeze

Cabin was beautiful. Well equipped. Very comfortable, great views. Only complaint we have was the cleaning service. The fire place was not cleaned out prior to our arrival. It was full of ashes and the hearth was full of ashes and wood scraps. We had to clean it out before we could use it. The shower had hair left in the drain. And the cabin was generally dusty overall.

Great property but ineffective communication with property management company

We recognize that Hurricane Helene represents a special case; however, the property we stayed in was damaged, and although we got a communication response via email (after calling and emailing) from the property management company about the situation, it was basically “we’re super busy and will get back to you when we can.” In my mind, a property management company would have the forethought to staff additional help if they had renters and property owners they are representing during a catastrophic weather event. We know the property management company nor the owners have no control over nature, but we at least expected someone to come out and survey the damage to the property fairly quickly since there was water damage, multiple leaks, and the house was hit by a huge tree top, which crushed the A/C unit. If I were a homeowner using this rental agency to rent my vacation home, I might be upset and at the slow response. The severe weather and damage to the house aside, the property was clean, well-maintained, well-equipped, accurate compared to the description, and was a great place to rent under normal circumstances.

Great location!

Beautiful view and within minute of Appalachian Ski Mountain. Has a Jacuzzi to unwind after a day on the mountain and lots of things to do on down time.

Beautiful cabin near Appalachian Ski Mountain!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay - brought our basset hound as well. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock - beautiful backyard that backs up to woods. Instructions are clear regarding what to bring; accommodations were clean and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Concerned with fireplace, appeared to have loose bricks. Dishwasher had dirty dishes in it when we arrived. We appreciate this cabin as it's conveniently close to App Ski.

Awesome location!

There is something to be said for being able to build a snowman on a railing while sitting in a hot tub after a day of snowboarding, only to then go inside and play games in front of the fireplace. The house was so cozy and spacious for a two bedroom.

Great Get Away

Thanksgiving trip

The house was great as far as cleanliness and location. It was lacking in some essentials that would have made the trip more comfortable. There was not a knife set or even a good knife for meal preparation which made preparing meals difficult. Also, given there was a hot tub, I would have expected to have more then one towel per person. There was no spare rolls of toilet paper or paper towels. I am accustomed to being supplied with one extra roll for each bathroom. All in all, a nice place to stay and I would go back again.

Excellent Weekend

Our 2nd year in a row staying at Appalachian Breeze. The house is great and is always clean with no maintenance problems. Beautiful location and very peaceful. Carolina Cabin Rentals has been great. Everything is known up front and there are never any hidden or unexpected charges. Highly recommended!

Stay in Appalachin Breeze

We have rented Appalachin Breeze for the past three years. Thee first two years were wonderful. Loved the view and location. This year October 4-24, 2020 was a disaster. The property has really been neglected and we will NOT rent it again. !) The blind in the downstairs bedroom was missing on a window next to the bed and faced the road. It took 3 days to get it replaced. We had to put a blanket over the window. 2) The overhead light in the living room/dining room area was not working. It took 1 1/2 weeks to get fixed. 3) The refrigerator leaked water inside of the refrigerator and onto the floor. It took 1 1/2 week to get fixed and it only stopped leaking for a few days then leaked again. 4) The stove light was not working. It took 1 1/2 weeks to get fixed. 5) The remote control for the TV in the downstairs bedroom did not work. We bought a battery for it. 6) There was mildew in the grout of both showers. I had to clean it with Clorox myself. 7) Two blinds in the living/dining room both had broken slats. Even though Anthony measured the windows these were never replaced. Anthony was very pleasant the two times he came. The people who took our information on the phone were also very pleasant. We are scheduled to return next year but are renting Summit View the last week of September thru the first week of October 2021 and are hoping this property is much better.

Appalachian Breeze Review

This is a terrific house with a beautiful view. We had coffee every morning on the porch as the sun rose. The bedrooms, kitchen and baths were well appointed with anything we needed. Great room was majestic yet cozy with a tall cathedral ceiling and a big stone fireplace. We enjoyed every minute! Really close in to Blowing Rock yet secluded enough to feel like we were not in a neighborhood. I'd rent again!

Overall disappointing. Downstairs smelled of dog urine. Bedroom window in downstairs was missing blind. Had to hang a blanket over window. Grass was knee high around fkrepit. Could not use if it had not rained. Dishes left in dishwasher. Dead fly in microwave. Dowstairs bedroom light did not work. Downstairs deck porch light did not work.

Appalachian Breeze

Clean and cozy cabin- could use attention to landscaping- tall weeds when we arrived. Enjoyed the hot tub and used WiFi to work and school from the cabin. Refrigerator may need a look- shelves continued to gather water (we did not adjust any temps).

Appalachian Breeze

We were really looking forward to a week in the mountains to escape the Carolina heat. In that regard, Appalachian Breeze did not disappoint. The porch was very nice and had a peek view, but is only accessible through the bedroom. Also, the location is very good; accessible to Blowing Rock and Boone quite easily. However, overall the property did not meet our needs. We didnt realize that the property sits very close to a busy road. We brought our two dogs so it was a bit stressful watching them so closely every time we went outside. The yard itself is in need of maintenance. It had not been mowed when we were there, there were tall weeds need the walkways and the shrubs out back needed to be trimmed. When we arrived, the resin chairs by the firepit were broken, but those were replaced the same day. It still didnt appeal to us to sit among the weeds for a fire. Inside the main floor was fine although the large oven does not work. Instead there is a countertop oven which worked fine for 2 people but could be an issue when cooking for a family. The basement level was very musty and could really use a dehumidifier. There were other glitches, like an evening spent trying to fix cable on 2 tvs and then fire alarms went off for no reason one morning. Some things can't be helped but I think there are some things that could be done to improve this experience.

Great Location!

Location is perfect, check-in is easy and convenient. We had booked an 18 day stay this time and location to town was important.Quick easy drive either direction. Main living area is comfortable and cozy. Did not use fireplace but it is an awesome focal point. Beds were comfortable. We prefer gas grill (none) but did try the charcoal, never again, personal preference. Fire pit is nice but didn't use that or hot tub. Enjoyed the upper deck and mountain view everyday even during the rain! Air conditioning worked 👍 well! It was just two of us, more than adequate for sure. We would suggest having downstairs carpeting thoroughly cleaned. Stains were apparent throughout game area and king bedroom. Main Lighting is very poor in King bedroom. Upon arrival we reported to management any issues. Carolina Cabin Rentals has always responded and tries to address asap. Unfortunately ping pong table had broken brace which we found when opening. Not a big deal but notified them immediately. A shower head needed replacement that was done within few hours. Oven stopped working and that wasn't resolved which was inconvenient. Flower beds(pretty) and lawns were not mowed and weeded during our time there. Kitchen has lots of cabinets, dishes, glassware etc. Two coffee pots, one kurig. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and neighbors we met were extremely nice. ❤ Blowing Rock area. Our 4th time to the mountains. It has been a difficult time for all and we understand maintenance is overwhelmed. For our purposes we would not book again. If issues are resolved we would recommend to friends especially our family in NC who ski. Thank you! Stay healthy.
