Great stay, clean kitchen - well equipped and we even enjoyed the sauna! Spacious, nice seating and gathering outside on the deck. Great location for heading to Banff etc.

Great property with a nice patio view facing the Rockies. Well situated in-between Calgary and Banff National Park. Cochrane has multiple dining options. Our faves: Half Htch Brewery and Mackay Ice cream. Spacious 3 bedrooms with a well equipped kitchen and ample living area. Very clean and organized. Would highly recommend.

Great little piece of paradise!

Enjoyed the location while sitting outside in the evening watching the sunset over the mountain ranges with the fireplace going. Kids enjoyed the space to play and be kids without wrecking anything! Huge master bedroom and doing laundry before I can home was a bonus!!

Reunion Getaway

The property gave our immediate family from different parts of Canada (Victoria,BC, Ottawa, Ont., Saint John, NB) a chance to spend time together in the midst of a larger family reunion. The property provided everything we needed and was enjoyed by all. Thanks to the property manager, any special requests were met.

This property worked perfectly for our U18 women’s curling team. Each girl was able to have their own bed as well as coach and house mom . It was close to curling facility and large enough for each girl to have their own space

This is a really nice house with a beautiful view of the Rockies off to the west. The house has a ton of room, is elegant, and has a lot of amenities. It's also in a quiet neighborhood and Cochrane is a very pleasant town with many restaurant options near by.There are two things I did not like about the property. First, it was very hot inside when we got there (about 78 F on the main floor and certainly in the low 80's upstairs). We had to use two window units (each intended to cool one room) to cool down the house and sleep with the bedroom doors open to make the temperature comfortable. While this did eventually bring the temperature throughout the house down, the first night was very hot and uncomfortable. To avoid this for other guests, I would recommend the host turn on the AC's in advance of a check-in, communicate in advance that there's no central air, and add at least one more upstairs AC unit to cool the second and third bedrooms (since we had to freeze the MBR and use fans to circulate the cold air to the other two upstairs BRs.The other issue I did not appreciate is there was apparently another person living in the basement of this unit, which is something not in the listing. There were lights on down there at various times and noises coming from the basement. This was unsettling since there was a door to the basement steps that was locked only from the other side. I feel like this should have been communicated in advance.

Great Experience

Our stay could not have went smoother. The house was clean and spacious. The view of the Rocky Mountains off of the back balcony was terrific. There is plenty of parking and extremely easy access to Highway 1A which can take you to either Banff or Calgary within 30-45 minutes.

Golf trip for four

Had stayed before, my group likes the location, close to a number of good golf courses, house has a great deck with mountain views. Very comfortable beds and furniture, big TVs, beautiful master bathroom.

Spacious property close to amenities

This property is in a quiet neighbourhood but close to parks (if you have young children) as well as a short drive to all amenities. Check in was very easy and communication with the property manager was excellent and seamless. The house was spacious and had a great upstairs lounge area. The master bathroom is very nice as well. Overall, a very positive experience and would recommend!

Improvements

We had a good time but in case you do not see your property much the cleaner you are using we need to critic. We entered the house and first thing we see is that the entrance rug was not vacuumed, (bad curb appeal) and then the floor was not swept or cleaned, oven is dirty and the BBQ grill was bad. We cleaned the kichen surfaces. We were not too excited to go upstairs to the bedrooms. But we were all pleasantly surprised as it was much cleaner. It looks like you have a crew of 2 cleaners. I hope this review helps as that was the only issue we had. We enjoyed the games you have and we watched Prince Philips funeral upstairs on the big screen TV. Thanks for the memories! Lynn Turner

Perfect property for our group of four.

Our curling team needed a place to stay while in Cochrane for a weekend bonspiel. Lacey's Mountain House was a perfect fit! Lots of room, beautiful view and plenty of little extras to make our stay perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

Golf trip foursome

Lots of room, great deck with a nice mountain view on the edge of town, awesome TVs. Owner very responsive to a couple of minor issues we had, fixed quickly. Only addition we would have liked is air conditioning.

Amazing property with all the comforts of home

What a great place to have our mini vacay. Very comfortable with our two families. The added blow up mattress and couch were fantastic for our teenagers that didn’t want to sleep in the same bed lol. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with and even arranged a late check out making our last bit of vacation that much more relaxing. A great layout, a beautiful home and lots of extras to be found. So impressed with all the living plants, very homey. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the beds to a king or queens. The doubles were pretty cozy. Thanks for opening your home.

The place was awesome! Close to Calgary and Banff. It was perfect for our crew of six

The place was super clean and you could tell it was new. Kitchen was great with all the dishes, pots & pans, etc. that we needed. View of the western mountains was terrific. We spent a lot of time on the patio

The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a great vacation!

So much fun. Perfect location for seeing Calgary and the mountains. Pleanty of room to relax and a wonderful kitchen to prepare meals. All appliances up to date and amazing! Loved our time there.
