Amazing House- well kept (feels new) and the perfect setup!!

I loved that every bedroom had a king bed so we didn't have to fight over a master or who got what room! The bunkroom was perfect for the kids. There are a lot of stairs, but we needed a workout anyways with how much we ate there ;) The property is located VERY close to the shops and village green at SeaCrest and the beach shuttle stop as well. The pool was only a few blocks away but a cut through made it seem even closer :) Thanks again for everything, we will be back to this property for sure!!

We love that location and the proximity to so many family-friendly places and the fact that everything is within walking or biking distance. Our only complaint was not being able to use a tent or wagon at our beach access, which wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have so many little ones. The beach was very crowded too, just a little area is blocked off for those that didn't rent chairs. However, the pool was incredible and the kids loved going there just as much! Overall we had a wonderful vacation!

Chicago Family Spring Break Vaca

I was weary about the weather for the time of year, but we lucked out and had gorgeous sunny days with temps in the mid-high 70's. I had never contemplated staying in Seacrest Beach, but due to inventory and pricing, pulled the trigger on Peek A Boo View and everything about it (and the trip in general) exceeded expectations. The home is larger than the pics make it seem, very updated and the kitchen has every gadget you could imagine. The furniture was comfortable and in great condition and the decor is neutral and classic beach vibe. The location is perfect - steps to shops, the beach, the lagoon pool, and the surrounding properties/community is exactly what you would hope for when thinking of a beach vacation. I would definitely recommend the home and stay there again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very nice but lacks some things you need for your stay such as kitchen linens and potholders. The box springs in the bedrooms with king beds are all defective. They are noisy when you get out of or into bed and it was quite annoying. When the property manager came by unannounced to change air filters we informed him of the defective box springs and he had very little concern.

Great house, not so great new beach rules

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was excellent, great neighborhood and the best neighborhood pool around. The ocean beach was very disappointing due to the new rules and dispute going on between public/ private ownership. The beach area designated for this neighborhood was extremely small and squeezed between rental chairs as far as the eye could see and private roped off beach. We ended up driving to a state beach down the road which defeated the purpose of staying in this location. We won't be coming back until the beaches are made public and aren't blocked by all the rental chair companies.

With boutique shops encompassing Seacrest Beach and restaurants/bars located within walking distance, this is a highly desired home for all vacationing families! Unfortunately, the private beaches are managed by the homeowners at these beachfront properties but there are other beaches close by that are a bike ride away. Beautiful Property

The house was beautiful. There was a lot of issues with the internet and TVs. Being that we had small children it was not a success and I had work to be done was a major problem. Other members of my family stayed in a house next to us and had no internet/TV issues. When I called the property manager they blamed it on the weather and that was far from it. I never was able to get pool passes as it was not told to me where I could find them. Thankful that the other house had plenty to share. The bed I slept in could use a thicker mattress. Overall if they good get better TV service and internet that would help. Also in the bunk-bed room if you could label what remote goes with what TV that would be helpful too. Would I stay at this property again, the answer is yes!

Storms in our area can pop up quickly and can affect homes differently due to various internet providers that service our area. When you reached out regarding the wristband and passes, our team was quick to direct you to the community pool to pick up your passes. Our team even followed up with the address to the community pool via text. All information regarding the home (including information regarding the pool passes) is stored in our guest facing GLAD To Have You app that you are prompted to download as soon as you book. Great location and space but house needs improvements

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental company royal destinations was excellent and very responsive! The house owner needs to make improvements. A lot of the furniture is dirty! We had move some chairs out of the way that were disgusting. The blinds fell off the door on arrival. Their was a stain that looked like blood on some pillow shames. The walls need painted badly. ALL the beds are super comfy but squeaky. Easy fix. Change the bed frames. Their is no tv unless you have Netflix. The outside furniture is gross and not usable. One pillow has mud all over it and you get one tiny bench to sit on. The shower curtain in the bathroom across from the bunk room feel everyday on my kids heads. The refrigerator door is broken and the cover for the bottom area for meat etc. The house however is in a wonderful spot with bikes. It is also spacious. We had 8 kids and 4 adults and had plenty of room. No one was on top of each other. If this house could be updated it would be a fantastic place to stay. The cleaning people did a great job just the house needs updates.

We did however find some room doors would no close and most of the door locks were inoperative. A little attention to detail could make for a much more comfortable stay.

October Fall Break Vacation Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was what we expected. WiFi could have been more consistent but we knew from some of the reviews that there were some issues. Kitchen needs s few more pots & pans for cooking and definitely more than one pot holder. Over it was a good experience, an 8 out 10.

Our Stay at Peek A Boo View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We picked this house because the description fit the needs we were looking for.However, there were issues with the internet connection, and some of us were working remotely while on vacation.The home did not have the wireless capabilities for 10 guests on their devices. We had maintenance and tech support out several times during our stay. it could not be resolved. Don't advertise sleeps 12 and not have wireless available. Owner must assume everyone has at least one device. So TV's is bedrooms did not work.Grill was dirty and almost fell on us while we were cooking. We secured it for the one time we grilled and aborted any thought of grilling again.Beds in some rooms were made prior to our check in in haste. We remade them. This was all sent in an email to Royal Destinations.Location was great and the house was beautiful.Two of the bicycles needed to be tightened on seat and handle bars. We were able to do that to ride.We would not recommend this property with the status of the internet as it is and the grill needs replacement. Remember that everyone is on a device and some people can work while on vacay because they can log in from anywhere. Just not here.

Thank you for staying with us recently at Peek A Boo View. Living near the salt water can take its toll on grills so we apologize if this was not working properly during your visit. We purchased a brand new one and it is ready for families that like to grill out! We are so sorry for the internet troubles you experienced throughout your week here. The home is actually well equipped to handle the number of guests that it sleeps and has never been an issue before, leading us to believe it may have been an outage in the area and not related to this home specifically. Our property manager as well a the maintenance team responded quickly to each call and were able to resolve it with a quick call to the internet provider. The tv's in the home do operate off of the internet through a Roku system, but basic cable is available as well. We hope you will consider returning to the Seacrest Beach neighborhood and to Peek A Boo View again.

Great Home with Correctible Issues

Loved the home and location to little stores and restaurants. Terrific community pool(s) and very convenient! Things that kept me from rating this the best are as follows: Internet was very inconsistent and made it difficult for folks trying to do work while vacationing. The grill could be replaced as well as box springs for all king beds. Otherwise we were very pleased!

Best place to stay when visiting Seacrest Beach

The house is new, very well maintained and the process to book our stay was extremely easy. The property is located in a very convenient area to 30A as well as shopping and a short walk to the beach and parking is never any issue, with 2 spots right up to the front of the house to easily get your belongings in and out. The owners have taken care of a lot of details to make your stay the most enjoyable, from the pampered towels and linen service, updated modern bathrooms for each bedroom on each floor, beautiful new kitchen, laundry room, bicycles, to the fact that every room has cable tv. There is plenty of room to relax and enjoy yourself and everyone had a great time. There is also a great front and rear upper deck and outdoor seating area if you just want to feel the breeze or sit outside and read. The community is also wonderful with a pool and walking paths to easily get around. The beach is just across 30A about a 5 minute walk and we did not have any problems picking a great spot on the beach. There are private beaches adjacent to the beach access, but no one ever bothered us, especially during walks along the crystal clear water. There are many nearby restaurants to sample without traveling very far on 30A and we either walked or rode our bikes most of the time. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, we highly recommend this house and will be back again.
