Martha's Meadow is a historic cabin built near the end of the 1800's by pioneers in Greer, Arizona. Although the cabin has been retrofitted with electricity and plumbing, those services are somewhat primitive. If you are looking for luxury, this cabin is not for you. Every attempt has been made to maintain the original structure while providing modern comforts. As a result the bathroom (tiny) and kitchen feel like afterthoughts, which they were. On the other hand, if you are interested in staying in a hand hewn log cabin in the middle of Greer. This place is for you. Although the shower felt flimy, very small and a bit grungy; it was functional. The rest of the bain was spotless with whitewashed walls and gleaming floors and ceilings, some of which appeared to be original. The kitchen has a small but full sized refrigerator, gas stove, plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking. Best of all, the deck looks over a small, private meadow right on the main road in Greer!
