Perfect

My wife and I (retired) stayed a month and loved it. The condo was beautifully done up in mid century modern furnishings and the kitchen was very well appointed with quality kitchenware. The location was excellent. Either a very short drive to downtown or an easy ride by by bike. The property was very well maintained and quiet. Highly recommended.

Mishaps Happen

Christpher's condo was perfect in every way. It was Immaculate and had everything that I was hoping to find in my rental. Unfortunately a hot water pipe busted in the foundation. The hot water was never really hot, but on the 3rd day it just became cold. I had to vacate on the 4th day although looking back on my decision, I should have just stayed on without hot water if the owner would have let me. My vacation basically was ruined because of where I ended up. I was told I could get a refund or move to another property. Unfortunately I was unable to return home as I had pet sitters who traveled a long distance to stay in my home and take care of my pets so a refund was not a viable option. I agreed to move to another condo. I'm not sure I made the right decision as the condo was nothing that I would ever have considered staying in. It turns out it was worse. I had very noisy upstairs neighbors who I think had a trampoline above my bedroom. There was construction going on in one of the adjacent condos and traffic noise outside the condo was constant throughout the day. It is unfortunate that I have to report this as I know these things happen, but having this as my first Vrbo experience has soured me on my experience. Christopher was very apologetic about the mishap and his condo is absolutely perfect otherwise, but still this customer felt let down.

Fantastic Palm Springs Experience!

We stayed a month in this wonderful property and enjoyed every minute. It is exactly as the photos show and the quality of everything is even better. Terrific host who is very attentive to any needs or questions. Lovely, quiet property with fresh citrus trees loaded with fruit. Best location, close to everything. A+

Fantastic apartment

The apartment was wonderful
midcentry modern around a courtyard with a pool and hot tub. The apartment was spacious - my husband and I could both work in separate spaces. Wifi was strong - both on zooms at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill worked great! The location was also great - we could walk to several hikes and if we had to drive, it was not far. I would highly recommend!!

Mid-Century Modern Gem

This is a wonderful vacation property. I spent serious time searching for the right place and I found it. The place was just like the VRBO pictures, perfect. Located close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Mountain hiking trails with magnificent views everywhere. Short walk to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. We like to cook and this place is equipped with a great kitchen, appliances, cookware, keurig and espresso maker and outdoor gas grille. The owner was extremely accommodating and always answered my questions immediately. You can tell he takes real pride in his property and if you stay here you'll see.

Great little community that you can really feel a part of.

We actually ended up having two separate reservations. One for February and one for March. So, as I said before, we are booked again for February-March 2021 and absolutely can't wait to get back. Chris is an incredibly attentive owner who we hope to build a relationship with for years to come..

Great stay in Palm Springs

I spent 3 months in this property and was very happy the whole time. The unit is very spacious and well-appointed. The location is great for either going into downtown Palm Springs or going down valley to the other cities. Most importantly, the location is very quiet. Chris is very helpful and is more like a friend than a landlord.

Mid century modern condo at the Coco Cabana

We stayed here for the month of March 2018. The condo is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is very clean and furnished in mid century modern decor. The kitchen has been updated with new cabinets and appliances and is well equipped. The bathroom has also recently been updated. There is a washer and dryer in the unit which is a nice feature. The patio is large and gets sun most of the day. This unit is one of 31 in the Coco Cabana complex, which is handy to shopping, restaurants, golf courses, hiking trails and downtown Palm Springs. The heated pool, hot tub and grounds are very well maintained. Note, there is wifi but no cable tv in this condo. Chris, the owner, was prompt at responding to our queries. We would recommend this condo to others who are looking for a quiet adult oriented vacation condo.

Originally from Pennsylvania, I was part of the acting and theatre scene in NYC and now Los Angeles. I have an interest in Mid-century architecture and interior design, and love Palm Springs and my condo at Coco Cabana (originally a 1955 Apartment / Hotel Resort) .

As a fan of Palm Springs mid - century architecture and minimalist mid-century interior design I was delighted to find my unit at Coco Cabana. The open expansive and beautifully landscaped 5 acre complex has only 31 units and is a gem of mid-century modernist architecture surrounded by mountain views. Designed by Charles W. Doty, Coco Cabana began as an apartment hotel resort in 1955, and converted into privately owned condominiums in the 1970s. The clean , simple and open feel of the living space and grounds adds to the chill relaxing desert vibe you can only find in Palm Springs.
