The Space:

The heart of this home is the generous open-plan living space, featuring high wooden panelled ceilings that create a sense of space and character. Comfortable sofas are arranged around a sleek wall-mounted TV, making it the perfect place to relax. Large windows flood the room with natural light while offering wonderful, uninterrupted views across the golf course and picturesque landscape. There is a pull-down double bed in the living area that can be made up for guests if requested in advance.



The living area flows seamlessly into the wooden kitchen space that provides ample work surfaces and integrated appliances to cater for all your needs, whether it's for a short break or a longer getaway. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area which is the ideal place for guests to gather and enjoy delicious meals during their stay whilst creating delightful memories.



Hornbeam Lodge also offers two spacious and well-appointed bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king-sized bed within a large, elegant space, complete with a wall-mounted TV and vanity unit. It's ensuite bathroom is finished to a high standard with full tiling, a bath, and a separate tiled shower cubicle. The second bedroom is equally inviting, offering two single beds in a bright and spacious setting, along with a wall-mounted TV and vanity unit. It benefits from a stylish ensuite with a fully tiled shower as well.



Another feature of this home is a well equipped, large family bathroom — providing extra convenience for guests wanting to unwind after a day of enjoying nearby amenities and exploring the local area.



Doors open from the living room onto a generous balcony overlooking the golf course and stunning woodland scenery. Complete with outdoor furniture and recliners, it provides the perfect setting for relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings whilst enjoying a morning coffee or an evening meal.

Just a short walk from the lodge, guests can enjoy access to the hotel’s facilities, including two 18-hole golf courses The Lakes Course and The Woods Course as well as a TrackMan driving range, perfect for golf enthusiasts.

A short drive away is Belton House, a stunning National Trust property with elegant gardens and a deer park, while the nearby market town of Grantham (around 3 miles away) offers a great selection of shops, cafés, and restaurants. With attractions such as Belvoir Castle and Woolsthorpe Manor also within easy reach, Hornbeam Lodge is perfectly placed for exploring the best of the Lincolnshire countryside.



Getting Around:

Belton Woods offers a peaceful countryside setting while still being well-connected for exploring the area. The easiest way to get around is by car, with free parking available and quick access to nearby towns, attractions, and major roads. Rutland Water is a lovely place to visit where you can hire out bikes approx. 38 mins by car



Grantham town centre is just a short 5–10 minute drive (around 3 miles) away, where you’ll find shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and local amenities. For those using public transport, there are local bus services running into Grantham, though travel times may be longer and less frequent.



Grantham railway station provides excellent connections, including direct trains to London King’s Cross in just over an hour. There are also direct services to York (approximately 47 minutes) and Lincoln (around 38 minutes), making it ideal for both leisure and business travel. Taxis are readily available and can be arranged easily for short journeys.



For guests looking to explore the surrounding countryside, having a car is highly recommended to fully enjoy nearby attractions, villages, and scenic spots at your own pace.
